This place is a must visit!! but keep in mind like others have said it is NOT a zoo, it’s an animal sanctuary. There are rules for a reason, please read the signage around the sanctuary very important! Also visit the website for their operational hours, they’re not accurate here.Ok now onto my experience. Went with my little family which included a toddler and we had a fantastic time here. Admission is affordable, feed is extra $10 however definitely worth the experience and still not badly priced. This sanctuary charges for these things to defray costs of care for animals. Can you imagine how much money it takes to run this place? I personally think admission and cost of feed or even items in their gift shop are reasonable as it all goes back into keeping the animals cared for. They’re no kill and let these beautiful beings live their life out here. The petting zoo area was fun! There are some animals that are not to be fed (again be sure to read the signs). All of the animals here look well taken care of and have enrichment items. For any parents that are wanting to go, with our toddler we brought our stroller which was a bit rough getting through the gravel but traveled fine on grass. Keep this in mind, not a deal breaker but we figured halfway through we could have left it in our car and maybe opt for a wagon. You’re not up close and personal to the big cats or wolves! Keep that in mind as well. There is extra fencing that puts you a bit back but clearly for safety. The gift shop has a vending machine and snacks for sale. There is a restroom on-site outside of the gift shop/entrance that is its own little building. Cannot attest to anything within it as we didn’t use it. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable! It was a pleasure seeing these animals and hearing the sounds of nature, truly a relaxing place. There are a LOT of signs that tell you how they expect you to behave. No running, screaming, etc. especially before entering the wolves exhibit (which includes no howling, and if your child is crying to leave the area, amongst other things). Be respectful, be kind & be appreciative someone has a big enough heart to save these babies from horrible situations. Which they have a book, sign & tv going on how some of the animals were saved and their prior condition.Thank you all for ALL you do!! Thank you for caring for these animals and opening your sanctuary up to the public. As an animal lover myself I appreciate you all.We will absolutely be back!!

Visited with the kids and grandparents and it was a lovely day to walk through and see the animals. It’s self-guided so no reservations or set times required. Souvenirs are reasonably priced. Be sure to make a donation while you’re there!

This organization is phenomenal and you can tell they care and love each of the animals they have with them. The fact that they are committed to giving these retired, rescued, injured/handicapped animals a second chance for a happy life is admirable! They have some animals you don't typically see, which is a great experience!

I love this sanctuary for animals it is my charity. Turtles tigers monkies. Bring lunch tables outside benches .if you can't come, think about donations and in your will. They are in mine. People leave the wild in the wild, stop abusing them. Lovely staff. Gravel parking gift shop restrooms handicap accessible. Money to go in and what you purchase goes to running the sanctuary

Noah's is a haven for exotic animals that have been neglected, abandoned, or abused. The amount of love and dedication put into their care is inspiring. I'm blessed to be able to visit there and get to experience being in their presence.

Wonderful time here! We loved seeing the animals and getting to feed them. All of the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. This is an animal sanctuary, not a zoo - so yes there are rules when you visit. Prices are average $15 to get in, $7 for a bag of carrots to feed, $22 for a shirt. I don’t mind paying since I know the proceeds go to help the animals. A lot of fake reviews on here…definitely give it a chance! We will be back :)

My wife and I discovered this gem by accident while visiting Berlin Lake, one of our favorite summer destinations, and the conversation was pretty amusing:ME: I just heard a lion roarWIFE: You're an idiotME: I swear it! I just heard it again!WIFE: OK - I just heard it too. Should we run?Instead of running away, we headed towards the sound and found Noah's Lost Ark animal sanctuary. We obviously had to visit. It's evident the animals here are very well cared for and loved, and the people working here are happy to share stories about how they ended up at the sanctuary and any unique behaviors they have. It's an absolute steal for admission, and you'll have an excellent time so long as you aren't expecting it to be run like a commercial zoo or some sort of circus act. I personally found the animals much easier to view in their habitats than a typical zoo, but you won't be slurping on a slushie on a paved trail shaped like bear tracks while doing so. This place is about the animals, not the people that visit, but that actually makes it so much better of an experience. Some of the backstories, like the animals from the Netflix hit "Ozark" being permanent residents there, are incredible. You get to enjoy an experience, all while supporting an excellent cause. The value can't be beat.

It was so good to go back after 3 years!! Some animals we remembered had passed in but there were also new residents! Love what they do and the animals and grounds are very well cared for. So glad to be able to be a monthly supporter.

Have never visited and never will based on the owners responses to reviews. Unfortunate that your business will suffer because of lack of emotional maturity and ignorance. In response to owner… We can see all the comments and even your rudeness towards comments about you being closed for the weather. The lack of professionalism is clear.

What an amazing place. The professional, sensitive care and respect for each individual animal - from captive predators to abandoned domestics - is everywhere in evidence at this sanctuary. Hand-feeding the emus is as close to interacting with a live dinosaur as I think I'll ever get. Well-kept and pleasant grounds with shady spots to sit and admire the animals.

Awesome experience. I've never been so close to big cats, emus, wolves, and all the other animals they have. Kids loved it, I loved the kids interacting with, feeding, and appreciating the rescue animals. I'm not religious but there's a special place in humanity for these people.

Noah’s Lost Ark is a nonprofit sanctuary that cares for animals who were previously abused, neglected, or unwanted. Visitors pay a reasonable admission fee. Visitors may also buy crackers from the gift shop to hand-feed some animals. Current animals include an emu with deformed legs, a deer with cancerous tumors, a tiger who spent too much time around humans, as well as other big cats, canines, primates, bears, and many others. Noah’s Lost Ark needs charitable donations to pay for the animals’ housing, food, and medical care. I encourage other people to support this sanctuary, so the animals can be happy for the remainder of their lives.

**update*" I went back after they have been closed for around 2 years due to covid. Still love visiting the animals. Some animals weren't out yet this time but it's still worth the visit and since they've been closed the money is needed! Great place and I will continue to visit. ($15 a person, $12 feed for animals). This is a great place to visit. They definitely take care of their animals and care well for them. The enclosures are a good size and well kept. I can't believe I didn't visit sooner! It's great for all ages, and you can see the animals close up but within a safe distance. I recommend visiting, I know I'll be back!

I always feel like the tiger enclosures need updated amd more shade, space, and decorative design that gives the animals amd people coming to view them that supports them...just like a zoo. But adding a water feature not just a bucket, multiple leves to climb, stumps for scratching, longer grass to hide. And they should have more space then the horse. But I feel that way towards everyone who keeps wild animals. O and the peacocks!!!! There were 2 males with a out 7 females and no space at all!!! The male was trying to mate and he ligit had to wait for the femal to get I to 1 spot where he could fit with his feathers out to mount her....and the 🐢 should have some sand and double the space as well. Honestly those would be the main attractions because the tigers are hardly able to be seen hiding under the only shade under the wood planks.

Never relized that a place like this was around here . Seems kind of odd , but was happy my wife knew about it and decided to take me . Its deffinitly a cool little place to stop. And its very affordable , only 10.00 to get in and you can get a whole pack of crackers to feed some of the animals for another 10 bucks . And they have a bunch of cool animals like ligers , tigers ,monkeys and bears among many others

What they do here is a truly selfless act. These animals needed a safe place and Noah's Ark gives that to them.

Had an outting here with the kids and grandparents. Everyone had a good time. Watching our toddler feed snacks to the animals and his face when he saw them was really cute. Next time I 2ould want to bring a jogging stroller or none at all. The regular stroller was shaking the kids so bad (gravel) I was worried about them so we ended up just pushing it empty. There were a lot of empty enclosures and a lot of walking to see large empty stretches (in the big cats area), but we didn't mind. It's not a zoo after all so you have to expect that because they are not paying money to stock this place, the animals are rescues and adoptees.Overall the place was clean and the animals seem well taken care of. We will come back again as the children get older.Original review: 7 months ago (3 stars)Website didn't say they had already started shortened hours/days. Will go back a different time but will make sure to call first.

They can't undo the past, but they work hard to ensure the future holds only good things for these amazing creatures. We enjoyed our visit, and we hope more visitors will help support the work being done here.

It’s a cute place I love all the cats. It’s amazing that you were able to feed all of the animals. The cats that they had inside were very cute one let me pet it. I would recommend if you have some time on your hands.
