The staff they have there is extremely helpful and the one girl who took the time to pull out a little corn snake for my stepson to get a good look at while she was working without even being asked was just awesome. They have a wide variety of aquarium and terrarium dwelling critters and seem really knowledgeable about the products they sell. They also don't mind when you use them as a kind of zoo for a bored 9 year old boy. Highly recommend this place

They put the customers first. What more is there to say other than I’ve never had a bad experience. Not only have they returned fish that didn’t acclimate well in the past. They’ve even taken it upon themselves to test my tank water when doing so. Thus ensuring I was doing the best possible with the knowledge I did have and they were not at all offensive or rude when doing so. You could easy tell it was in an effort to help me succeed. 10/10 recommend with a vast selection of both saltwater and freshwater fish. - Thank you.

I was recommended this place and boy I was not disappointed. They have so many different fish, fresh and salt water. The employees are so helpful and answered all my questions, I had many lol. If you're looking for plants or corals for your aquarium they have them.. they also have birds and reptiles. I fully recommend this place for all your aquarium needs 😊

Bought a six line wrasse from here and he was dead within the hour , called the owner and he didn’t seem to care too much at all. Fish was littarly dead and not moving other then the smallest gasp every few minutes . I’ve had saltwater fish for a very long time and have never had a problem. But he just wouldn’t listen and wanted to speak like we’re stupid. All he said was give it a few days it’ll come back alive ……… like no , just no , I’m not stupid . Dead fish don’t come back alive. So now for Christmas I get to just deal with a dead fish while waiting to take it back….. get a refund and probably never buy from them again .

I've gotten several fish and aquatic plants from here. Very wide selection and super healthy fish! I've had a few Blue Rams from here that only lived a few months, but they are a very delicate and sensitive fish, definitely not the fault of the store. All of my Gouramis and snails (which I've had success with getting them to breed!) from here are still living and in excellent shape, as well as the aquatic plants I've purchased from them. Hands down the widest selection in the MOV on fish! Photos are of one of my tanks with fish, plants and snails I've purchased from Belpre Aquarium.

Don’t get anything from them!! My sister bought a bearded dragon from them and the poor thing looked sickly. They had him half priced because they knew he was not in good shape! Told her he was in healthy conditions and that he would be good for her. My sister had him for no more than a week and he died, called them and they said we don’t know what to tell you about that they don’t just die for no reason. She has several geckos and an iguana and bearded dragon that are healthy and has been a reptile mom for years!! Told her it was her fault and not their issue!!! This place will sell any sick pet to you for half price then blame you for it dying!! This place is a total joke and don’t make it right!! If you know they are sick and still sell it to people is bullcrap!! Should have told her his issues instead of lying about him. Well sell anything to make a buck!! She would have found the right treatment for him if they told her he was not in good health and needed extra care or what help he would have needed!!!

The place is smaller but has a good size selection of fish types and other pet types as well. No dogs, cats tho. The store overall needs better cleaned to get a 5 star rating from me, I know it's alot to do with cleaning the fish tanks but almost all of them seemed to be pretty dirty around the filters. Overall the staff was very nice.

Visited here on a trip home with my partner who's local, so I wasn't able to buy anything to bring home to my tanks. But just from looking around they have an awesome selection of not only fresh and salt water fish, but also some reptiles and birds too. All the fish and reptiles we saw looked really well kept and very healthy. I don't always see that kind of quality in other aquarium places I've been to throughout my life, so it was a super nice surprise! Really nice shop and their prices are actually really fair for the quality of fish they're selling. If I lived here I would absolutely be going here for my fish and supplies.

I have been purchasing freshwater supplies/animals/plants from this store for a few years now and it is so nice to have a local place to go to for your aquarium needs. The staff are always super helpful and knowledgeable. I have always been treated very well and any plant/animal I have purchased has been incredibly healthy.

Very unreliable. They are usually out of stock of all feeders every time I come here. There are always dead fish sitting at the top of the tanks, and not to mention the bettas always look like They are about to die!! The small animals are always out of water and the tanks/tubs They keep Them in are dirty and not taken care of. Most of the animals bite, aren’t friendly, or domesticated at all because of the lack of handling they get. Everything is overpriced. Not recommended to come here.

I discovered this place about a year ago when frantically calling around to pawn off some unfriendly tetras. I literally haven’t gone to another fish store since, even though it’s a 1½-hour drive. That’s how good it is.I can’t say too much about the reptiles and birds (no experience), but the selection of fish, snails, shrimp, plants and other various aquatic friends is top-notch. They take quite good care of their stock, too, and are great at answering even the most obscure questions. Their best quality in my opinion: they’re all honest folks: they won’t try and sell you sick shrimp, incompatible fish or anything that they wouldn’t be comfortable buying themselves.

This shop is awesome! We bought fish and aquarium set up supplies. The staff was exceptionally friendly and spent time educating me and my husband regarding firsttime aquarium ownership. They have a huge selection of fresh and salt water fish, plants and supplies. Can’t say enough good about them!

They alwAys take the time to explain what you need and should do for a healthy aquarium. I raise African cichlids and Brian is a wealth of knowledge and advice. I have never bought a fish that was unhealthy from them. They stand behind their fish and will go above board to help you.

Got my friend a small fish bowl for her goldfish. Staff was very friendly and attentive, but not overburdening like some stores. They definitely know their stuff and are very good at running a business. Its a really cool place that makes you feel like you're at home.
