The sales person working this evening was very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. My wife wanted some new fish and he was very helpful in picking fish that would not be aggressive toward the ones we already had. Prices seemed reasonable and we were helped quickly. We will be back for more fish and supplies.

I remember when this store was good, but sadly, this store has gone down hill in quality of animals. I have bought around $60 of fish, and have lost most of them, not because of water quality (I had the water quality tested HERE) it's the crappy quality of the fish. If I were them, I would not buy from the same seller. I'm not nearly as angry as I am disappointed, this store was great but it is kind of a let down now. The only redeeming quality of this place is the staff, as most of them are friendly and helpful.

The guy that helped us was very informative on what fish we should buy to help introduce my son to fish husbandry. He also helped us pick out a good diet for our variety of fish. He was very careful and caring when placing our fish in their little bags to go home.

I had a very good experience with Pet Valu in Bellefontaine. I took two 4 month old English Mastiff puppies in for a bath. The Pet Wash was $10 and included soap, water, treats, cold blow dryer, and towels. The lady working was very nice. I would recommend the Pet Wash to anyone!

Jack's > Pet Valu. There are many people that own reptiles in my area, but since Canadian ownership took over, it's been difficult to get the supplies we need. They are frequently out of the frozen feeder mice and rats that we need. This never happened with Jack's. I'm now going to completely online purchasing. The shipping and handling costs are worth it to ensure my pets remain healthy and alive. Sincerely, a lost customer.

I have so many issues with this place yet have no choice but to shop here for my dogs food because it's the only sore in twon that sells what she takes. Bought my regular food today and it took two people to cash me out and they still got my change wrong. Drove away without my dollar and just let them keep it, it wasn't worth getting the baby back out of the carseat. Get some smarter cashiers.

Great serviceThat was 3 months ago. This store has lost all of the valued employees and its wonderful management. It took my breath away today with the smell of unchanged bedding. The new assistant manager broke down and cried when I said that it smelled worse than ever before. The staff is completely new and completely uneducated on their products. I only wonder what will become of this place in the next Year. I always donated everytime i was asked during my 2 to 3 visits a week, but i have only been asked once in 2 months. Previous manager prided him self on their donations, the windows use to be completely covered with donation paws. Now the animals are in dirty bedding, the store smells, and there is a serious lack of quality service. I do hope I can re-edit my review soon to reflect the quality of the store they once where. Seriously doubting it though.

New name/store in same location as old pet store. Some of the staff is knowledgeable and almost all are very friendly. Not a "mega-pet-store" with every product under the sun but they do have a decent selection and fair prices.

Very helpful...I had appointments for my puppies for their baths,she already had the soap ready. Plus, she told me the best clippers for their paws are and she is ordering them.

For being a former employee I can say the store smells of urine and wet dog yes I know it may be from the dog wash but if it is cleaned every night it shouldn't smell that way! I love the employees there though but please clean up a little more!

Their focus seems to be shifting mostly to just pet food, toys and stuff. I don't think I saw any reptiles, fish are on their way out too. That's ok with me, just be aware if you are looking for exotic this probably isn't the place.

Took my dog for a bath. Inexpensive just $10. They are helpful, tubs were clean, bathing area was also clean, & I was able to use 2 different shampoos for my dogs dry skin.

My car broke down and I had to walk 2 miles in the heat to get to this store because my dogs needed shade and water and i needed a phone... as soon as i walked in and told them what was up the let me cool my dogs down for free got them night calorie treats and a bowl of water and let us chill in the store till my car got fixed and watched my dogs while i ran out to take care of my car... this is a GREAT place with GREAT people!!!

I would give them 0 stars if I could! I was supposed to get this amazing little kitten names grasshopper, but the way you have to get them is by applying. I WAS THE FIRST TO APPLY! But when they sent the paperwork they messed it up. There was another person who applied for the other kitten junebug, but then decided they wanted grasshopper. So they Gave MY kitten to someone else. I'm heartbroken, I had gone into the store almost everyday to see MY cat, and then they just sold her to someone else. I'm extremely upset. I would never recommend this place to anyone else!!!!

A little small and not alot of specific items, however the quality of the fish I can vouch for. I got my 2 goldfish there and they've been alive and well for almost 4 years now.

I love this place because of the supply they have that's hard to find elsewhere but it's too pricey and also where are the price tags? I never know how much anything costs. It's aggravating . Otherwise staff is friendly and my go to place for food and treats for my dog.

I had called for somebody information for something that I needed. The lady I talked to was very knowledgeable. She help me so much. She ever told me what I needed and a different store I could find nd it. The pet store no longer carried it.

Pet Valu has a huge selection of products for dogs & cats. The staff is very helpful & knowledgeable. Pet friendly (obviously) & a huge improvement compared to what used to be there.

Today was the second time I had been in this store at this location and the people were NOT friendly with us. Acting like they didnt want us there looking at the animals, and being rude to the kids when they tried talking. I like petvalu, but will NOT be returning to this location.

For the most part the people that work there are very nice and helpful. Ive had one issue with management and I'm still waiting for some assistance in getting a matter resolved. It's been going on for a while.
