Have not shopped in Big Lots before. Had a friend say to look there for a mattress. I was VERY skeptical as I've bought 2 others elsewhere & very unhappy with them. I 1st looked at Piqua, ended up taking a chance, had to pick it up from Bellefontaine. Long story, HIGHLY impressed with Joe, "Aaron", Phyllis, Shirley, as they all waited on me either on phone or at BELLEFONTAINE store. I talked to manager Joe 02/27/24 on the phone about the whole experience with mattress set. I proceeded to make sure he knew how much it meant to get such great customer service from these people. I was not near as impressed with Piqua store after going there 1st. Thank you all that was very efficient, kind & helpful! Speaks volumes to me!

Stopped in today in search of outdoor decor. Pleasantly surprised to see the windchimes are an additional 25% off. I experienced amazing customer service from Shirley. She has a beautiful smile to add to her helpful, kind personality. Thank you!

About a little over a month ago, my girlfriend and I, walked into this local Big Lots searching for Christmas gifts and household accessories. I actually forgot my wallet in her car, so I went back for it. When I made it back, she was talking with the shift supervisor of the store. She introduced me, and he began walking around with us to help find items if we couldn't find them ourselves. He did what he could to help us around the store on our visit. Just a nice and helpful gentleman. Really enjoyed it. Great staff there as well. Will continue shopping there. Thank you.

I purchased a recliner from them over a year ago and still had the receipt. Well it broke once, but I was able to still use it. Then a few months later it broke again while just trying to recline on it. By then it was useless. I called them and of course they only have a year warranty. So they couldn’t help me. I would expect longer than a little over a year out of it. Big Lots sells nothing but junk. Don’t buy furniture from them. I never will again.

Automatic doors have been non-automatic forever. Makes it difficult to enter and exit the store with a cart. Very hot inside! Overall a clean and well organized store with a great staff.

Here they work really hard at what they do. You can tell they do their best stocking the shelves, keeping the store clean, and helping the customers. I’ve even heard of the manager having to come in on his time off to help cover and get work done! I am proud of all of them and they all deserve a raise and applause for their hard work.

Prices is not cheap and big lots no more but the same as all the other storeso I would not consider it as a discount store but to each their own opinion

Cashier at lane 9 was very friendly. We were looking at furniture and she came up and asked if we needed help, also told us to make ourselves feel at home (lay /sit on furniture like you would at home to get the correct feel.) Store is very organized, clean and again, the check out was a very great experience.

The only thing I stop in for is Bob's Red Mill products at a very good price. You can find some good deals from time to time. Would probably go five stars but it seems like there is often a long wait at the checkout even though other employees are nearby. Cashier's are very kind though.

We bought a queen size memory foam mattress from the web site while in the store. 2 days later it was ready to be picked up and brought home. It was super easy to set up

We ordered a chair from the Belefontaine store in Weds.morning. Drove there just after 1 p.m. to pick it up. Very little waiting and the drove around back and loaded the chair in my truck. The whole process took less than 20 minutes. Good experience.

Today is "shop local" day and I always try to stop in here. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Bonus for me is they actually wished me a "Merry Christmas" instead of the generic happy holidays.

Always enjoy shopping here but had to ask employees where shaving cream and baby powder were located. Location is clear across the store from other similar supplies, Located next to toys.Corporate higher ups need to re-think this one.

The furniture staff are rude and don’t take the time to go back and look to see if they have the product in their inventory.One of the staff members scanned a product I was looking at and it said they have 11 on hand and then told me and my husband they didn’t have any. Marysville Ohio Big lots full time customers, and it will worth the drive! Bellefontaine Ohio furniture staff are rude!

The store had a strange lay out and there is only a couple people working when I went there. I was treated like a child by the manager. I called them to talk about a product I bought and what was wrong with it and the worker that answered the phone, was helping someone at check out at the same time mixing up my words with the costumer. She informed me that the manager and assistant manager was not present. (I called at 10am, 30mins after they open) she was polite and took my name and number but I never got a call back. Never going there again.

The staff always greets you when you walk in the door. Della in the furniture department has always been friendly and very helpful. Even if you have a general question outside of her department, she is quick to find an answer for you!

selection is interesting but prices are no longer as impressive as they used to be, Don't assume you are getting a great price because it;s Big Lots. Sometimes Wal-Mart actually offer better brands at same or lower pricing.

Pretty dingy store. Shelves and floor are all fairly old and damaged. Big lots store as is has a random assortment of goods. Apart from furniture, everything is available from nearby competitors.

How can you go wrong with big lots. It's big lots for anything cheap your can find. Walmart didn't have my oldest son's sandals in stock but walked out of big lots with two pairs for $13

The store is miles ahead most other Big Lots stores in merchandise offerings and friendly service. The store is clean and organized. This would be my "go-to" store if I was local.

Need to visit this store more often. I think they have great bargains and good choices of things we love. Even some good buys on furniture!
