If I could give an negative 5 I would.If your dog is not under 45 pounds and extremely docile this is not the place for you. The owned Deana is 60 years old and has issues with doing dogs of any challenge even though she has a helper. The worst customer service of any business I have ever incountered. I think it's time for her to retire from the pet grooming business. She told me she would not ever do my dog again during the first appointment and gave me some crazy story about why. When I went to pick up my dog she said," I was not all the way into the computer "(no idea what that meant considering I filled out an information card with all my info when I dropped off my dog) and told me she would only take cash or check. I had to go leave and go to the ATM and then come back.There was nothing posted about this and I had talked to her 3 times before I dropped of my dog. I don't understand how you ever stay in business with such a horrible attitude towards dogs or their owners. To top it all off the place was absolutely filthy with dog hair everywhere like they never vacuumed in over a month.If you want good dog grooming this is not place, look elsewhere. Deana seemed like a nice person at first , but turned out to be completely incompetent at running her business, time to retire Dear.

We take our Havanese puppy to DeAnn. She has years of experience and does such an excellent job with our dog. She has given us excellent suggestions, including a better collar to prevent matting, and noticing our puppy might have allergies. This was confirmed by our Vet. I could not recommend her more highly!

My family has been bringing our dogs to Deann for 15 years now. And when I moved away I still drive 30+ minutes to bring my dog to her for grooming. We have brought her small dogs (Corgis) to large dogs (Malamutes & Bernese Mountain Dogs) & she skillfully grooms all of them. I've brought dogs to her that were blind & had severe trust issues and she new exactly how to handle them. The quality of the bathing & grooming are top notch; and I will always recommend people to her.

Deann is one of the most talented groomers I have ever met. She makes grooming look so effortless, when I KNOW it’s not. I trust her with my pups to the moon and back. There’’s no one else I would want grooming them. I have never had an issue with scheduling, when she has been ill, I have been rescheduled according to my preference. Give her a try, when you see your dog you’ll be happy you did.

We have been going to Shearer Magic for over 16 years. Deann started grooming our two Labs monthly from the time they were 6 months old and continues to groom the three we have now. She is an excellent groomer, very conscientious, always looking out for the dogs best interest and has very reasonable rates. We just love her and so do our dogs !!

She is very knowledgeable about grooming and animals. I feel comfortable leaving my pet in her hands. She gives me a full report on how my pet did during the groom. We have been using her a for years and recommend anyone to her. She does have limited hours but I feel she is with it.

Refuses to groom "difficult/loud whiney dogs", picks and chooses which dogs she wants to groom, hard to get an appointment, and rude over the phone. I will say I highly recommend Jan's grooming in Centerville over this place. Jan's grooming is happy and willing to take my husky who is apparently way too horribly behaved for shearer magic to do.

Unprofessional and rude. Scheduled an appointment 10 days in advance, and when I showed up, they claimed they had no idea who I was and had no appointment. They then launched into a discussion of how I must have called another grooming place by mistake (nope, checked my call log!) and detailed the owner’s recent terrible bout with the flu as a reason I couldn’t have called to make an appointment with them. They made absolutely no effort at welcoming me, apologizing for the mixup, or attempting to even reschedule. I just stood there awkwardly for minute before saying “OK never mind” and walking out.Bottom line: even if you don’t think it’s your fault, good business practice would be to ask me if I’d like to reschedule and provide a welcoming presence at your business. Instead of telling me about your flu.

Omg! I NEVER KNEW MY DOG COULD LOOK SOOOOO GOOD! Will most certainly be back. Very personal service, not at all like the big box pet store where I had him groomed before. Night and day! I am truly blown away. Thank you so much!
