I went to make a large purchase and system was not working properly and was not taking any coupons on a busy Saturday. Also was in line for 45 minutes to have to pay full price for half my order while I left the rest. The cashier just said "oh well what do you want me to do they need to hire me help" this is just unacceptable

Unorganized store. Hours are UNRELIABLE. I had to pick up medicine after I got off work and the hours are false people just stood inside looking at me. I hate this place

this dollar general is a perfect microcosm of bedford: a pathetic, lazy, unorganized, dirty waste of space. the question here isn’t what stores to give your business, it’s Why do i still live in this dump?

Why are you making the customers wait such long wait times to use the self service register when there is a cashier on duty? The long line is unnecessary when your cashier is not doing anything.

Went to the store to get chips and a 1 dollar pepsie. Young man at counter always very nice and respectful. But, got in my car and noticed I had overpaid for the pop. Almost double. The shelf price had said 1 dollar but, I was charged 1.95. Went back in the store and young lady at the counter said the young man had just left. I was told the price went up a few days ago. I asked for a refund. I had my receipt, Young lady refused. Stated she didn't know how to give a refund. The other female employee said she would, but the young lady cut her off and said she didn't know how either. She insisted that I come back the next day and get the refund from their manager. I told her I live in akron, and wasn't going to come back the next day. Said she would call the cops if I didn't. I'm 70 y.o. She said I was just a cheap old woman. Never going in that store again.

Absolutely terrible customer service. I watched the woman before me struggle with the self-checkout while the employee kept disappearing after telling her she didn't even know how to void out an item for her. Then it took 15 minutes to do the return I came in for, and I received it cash instead of loading it back on my card so I'm guessing she didn't know how to do that either.Then, when I finish shopping lo and behold there's no one there to remove the extra item thats been left still rung up at the self checkout from the last person, so when I have to call and ask for help I'm stuck standing there for another 5 minutes and then she gives me attitude saying "I understand it costs too much" when what I said was this isn't an item I even selected let alone rang up. Then she dissapears again leaving me stuck on a pay screen when I wasn't even finished ringing my items up yet(which I also mentioned I had only gotten two items in to ringing out before I noticed the extra item).Then on our way out my son let's out a cough (he has bronchitis from seasonal allergies) and she immediately pulls out like 20 sani wipes refuses to hand me one saying she'll wipe it down and when I laughed and said that was a lot of wipes, she snarkily responds, saying "yeah well its a sick baby" like we are just scum to her because he's got allergies, and I'm stupid for having him with me. Just a terrible experience from start to finish

The cashiers are amazing and so helpful here!! They were polite and nice and did everything they possibly could to help. But the security manager of the store is absolutely RUDE!!! I had my wallet stolen from the store and yes it was because of my mistake but he over talked me the entire time , every question and even when I explained what happened he was extremely rude and even tried to put words in my mouth that I never said at all and just made really sarcastic comments. I did let him know that he made this experience even worse by having such horrible interactions (talked to him on more than one day) from the start with him specifically! He needs to be wrote up for how he talks to people. I work in hospitality and he needs to take classes on how to interact/treat customers.

Jerry, Misty, Hannah, Aliyah, and the Manager are all sweet and have great customer service! Having worked has a cashier in the past, I understand how serving the public isn't always easy. I enjoyed speaking with Hannah has she listened to me about all that's been going on with covid. Misty & Jerry are super nice and I enjoy their humor! If corporate is able to see this comment mentioning the above names, I think they all should be thanked in some way for being so kind and attentive!

I haven't visited D. G. In a while and it's still as great as before. Didn't find the fish food I needed but found a few other things I didn't know I was looking for. The gentleman working Kevon helped me to search for the fish food and helped with some crazy glasses that made us both laugh. Very friendly and for the truck just being delivered and freight being on the floor it was not in bad shape. Thanks so much see y'all again soon

The website says they open at 8 am I was in the parking lot along with others for 15 minutes I called several times when I got home and no answerFamily Dollar was open at 8 when I passed their store by so it’s probably my fault that I passed it over l will stick to reliability

2nd time in a week the doors were locked at 4:30pm. People waiting outside said only employee locked the doors to go to the bathroom. We saw the same employee walk past the entrance a couple times at 4:45. She didn't open the doors until 5:00.

Not really the $1 store it used to be but they carry a lot of popular snack items in different flavors & the selection of supplies & small gadgets is better than other Dollar General locations. Friendly atmosphere as well.

The dollar store in Bedford is horrible... shelves are not stocked....was told they were not given enough time to stock the shelves before opening....just a disgusting experience... Bedford deserves better!!!!!💯😡😡😡

Very proactive employees whos cheer is very catchy and appreciated. Came here to buy them out of shampoo body wash and conditioner to stock up and left with a smile on my face. Thats how it should be.

If you want to be treated with disrespect, shop here. Better put your items back if you don't or can't get them or the cashier and manager will throw a fit. Never shopping here again, even if its a life or death situation.

I went to the store there was 5 people in front of me the boy at the register was on the phone with his girlfriend the whole time, and very loud not paying attention to any customer when my time came he left my grocery on the counter I asked him if he could bag them like everyone else he said sorry I was on my phone. Not Cool

This store space has been several different stores over the years but I think it has finally gotten the correct business in it now. As long as they keep the merchandise fresh, the store clean & the employees stay friendly, they'll be there for a long time!

Dirty, dangerously disorganized, and the employees are Rude. I stopped last night and was vebally threatened by and employee when I asked to use the restroom. I will never shop here again and something needs to be done about the condition of the store and its careless and rude employees.

The old light skin lady who works the evenings is rude. Standing at the counter she told me she needed to run to her car so she could get money to buy some things she needed! She had a few racist remarks for me when I told her it seemed she had an attitude and refused to give me her name when I asked. I will be sure to call corporate and report her

I REALLY liked this particular location in Downtown Bedford, Ohio.The store was very clean and organized and the Customer Service was PHENOMENAL!!!I will ALWAYS VISIT THIS PARTICULAR LOCATION 😊
