Big fan of the Heinen's brand. Lately I've been doing their version of Instacart... wow it's convenient & the shoppers are incredible. Substitutes are rare, it's a great experience! Love this store.

Not much meat in their already made meat lasagna. It had three tiny chunks, smaller than the size of a marble. There were trace amounts of crumbs of meat. It was mostly just pasta, sauce andcheese. It was a pricey treat, not again.I'd like to add that the two women working in produce were awesome. They both were very helpful. One explained the fruit I never saw before and section it off for me.There were a few not so happy workers but it's like that everywhere.

Wow! I was blown away at how good this Heinen’s at Bay Village is. First, their building is amazing, their produce is so fresh and they staff is super warm and welcoming.

I can't understand why people shop here. Walking in, past three associates, not one greeted us or would even keep eye contact. See us, look away.Went through the store, somethings were fairly priced, other things ranged from a few dollars more to almost twice the price. But this being the ONLY grocers around, there's no choice.Towards the back, looking for ice cream, there was a cooler with steam/smoke coming out. It seemed appropriate to inform the staff, I'm not a refrigerator guy, this seems odd. Brian (or Brad?) walked out, and I waved, smiled, and said "Sir!" with an upward inflection, implying I had a question. He looked at me, locked eyes, and raised his eyebrows- clearly acknowledging my existence - then turned around and started walking away. Are we serious. I was taken a back. I ran up to him and stepped in front, waving my hand, "Sir!" This is not a joke. This dude looks at me, turns around, and tries to leave!!! I can't believe this really happened. I went again in front of this dude  (heinens shirt, name badge, came from the backroom), third time, and he says "o, me?" Yes, you, f-tard! Your machine is doing something!!! He said it was defrosting, and continued on giving zero fudges.So got a couple more things, some burgers that were well priced, and a drink (both heinens brand, and still not cheap, but their cheapest stuff ranks bottom of fairly priced for other stores). In the checkout, our cashier did not once acknowledge us. No hello, no how are you, looked at us, and did her job. The bare minimum.Am I less valuable in a t shirt and shorts? I'm sorry I didn't wear a suit for my day of adventure and activity. Roberto, the designated person to talk to the cashier the entire day, did take some breaks to ask if we wanted it in separate bags. He asked two more times, regardless of my direction of one bag, but whatever. He spoke more to me then the cashier did. I meant to not say anything at all to the cashier, and see if she would say anything, but when she handed me the receipt, I accidentally said thank you, and THEN she told me to have a good day. Not ONE word before.If there was ANY other place for me to shop, I'd have walked out and gone there. They have a good setup going here.

A little bit smaller than the Giant Eagle we go to, but the selection of items are great. We went specifically for Tony Packos Hot Dogs. The only place we know that sells them. They are excellent

Very clean, pleasant environment. The shelves were nicely stocked.The only staff I actually interacted with treated me like family. A big shout out to Sam in Meats/Seafood/Deli area. She was helpful when asking questions and very personable. I will try Halibut eventually. The cashiers were friendly and all in all the store was a pleasure to shop in. Our flowers are beautiful and I can't believe they had Double Devon Cream!

The service at the register is pretty much the reason why I gave the store a 3 stars rating. the store associates on the floor divert their eyes when you even look like you need help, the items are a lot of the times in places they shouldn't be in, their floor plan is weird and not to mention their version of customer service kind of rides the line of rude.

Sushi is disgraceful. Them folks put rice as the filling and really jip you on the fillings that are supposed to be there. Give that person making the sushi a stern talking to and a link to a youtube tutorial on how to make adequate sushi. Thanks!

I do a lot of my shopping here. It's not the cheapest, but certainly the best quality around in my eyes. Everything is fresh here. There are plenty of organic options for those who wish to have them. Please make sure you are a rewards card holder before shopping there though. I feel like if you are not one, the cost will shoot way up on you. I highly recommend this store. Very clean and great customer service.

Oh what a nice place! Friendly, helpful staff; store is clean, well stocked. Cost on many items is a bit pricey but I like the place/the experience/the options/ variety & quality so I pay the price and I leave unstressed. Tah Dah. :>)

Overpriced, which would be fine except the experience & service are abysmal. Tiny packed store. No associate seems happy, nobody greets you, or even acknowledges you when you ask a question, just points in whatever direction the item in question is. Attempted to take my cart to my car like a normal person at a normal grocery store and was met by a very rude woman chastising me telling me carts aren’t allowed in the lot, as if I was supposed to inherently know that (I couldn’t find a sign telling me this either). She continued being rude even when I said I didn’t know, talking to me as if I’m a child. Absolutely never returning here, I’d rather spend my money elsewhere.

Love this grocery store located near the heart of Bay Village on Dover Center. Convenient and plentiful parking with drive up pick up options. Friendly, helpful and professional staff. Store is always clean, well lit and organized.

Good selection of gluten-free and healthier items, and the staff is usually quite friendly and helpful. They also have a great selection of produce. Prices are a bit higher than Giant Eagle, but you really are paying for quality. The fresh flowers are great, and their fresh fish selection is usually quite good.

My favorites croissants, red skin potatoes prepared foods, stinos vesuvio, heinens blueberry waffles, heinens pork roast, pacific rim sweet reasling, potato pancakes prepared foods, pork and black bean sauce prepared foods, Mitchells ice cream, chobani peach yogurt, heinens pumpkin pie, heinens supplements, heinens chips, berries, Tates lemon cookies Thank you for all you do.

Most pleasant shopping experience! The staff is the friendliest ever! They are all very helpful, especially in the wine department. I received excellent advice for a sangria party I was throwing and whenever I stop in to the wine department to try something new, I cone home with a winning selection.

I shop here frequently and my most recent visit (yesterday) will be my last. Everytime I come here it seems like none of the workers are interested in helping you and I quite literally have to roam around the store tracking someone down if i'm looking for something specific and can't find it. It isn't the cheapest, however for the price I expect the produce to be very fresh and it just hasn't been the last few times i've shopped here. Yesterday I waited in line for about 15 minutes to check out as there were only two check out lanes open at the time. While i'm checking out, and after spending over $200 the very rude employee checking me out decided to inform me that I was in the express lane and I had too many items and that I should "know this for next time". Mind you, this is after i've waited over 15 minutes in line. I looked around and politely replied that there were only two lanes open and both of which were designated as 'express lanes' so if that's the case where else should I have gone? She didn't have an answer just reiterated that I was in the wrong lane and made sure I knew "for next time". I've really tried to give Heinen's a chance but after this last interaction I can't bring myself to continue spending my money here. Please train your employees to treat the customers with respect, thanks.

They have an excellent assortment of high quality food. The produce is beautiful, great salad bar, groceries, meats, all of it. Though I bought some beer and there is a county tax! Lousy commies. But that isn't the store's fault. I sampled the chicken chili and it was the best I've ever had.

Heinens always has specialty items you can't always find in other grocery stores. They have a fantastic salad bar and the gourmet cheese section is huge with tons of choices. Most of the people that work there are long time employees and very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the wares. This is my neighborhood grocery and I'm a very frequent visitor. My only complaint is they close at 8:30 PM during the week and 6:00 PM on Sundays. I wish they would stay open a little later in the evenings, at least till 10 PM on week nights.

It was okay. I'm not too thrilled about heinens in general. Personally it is a pretty expensive store. There are items that are local and organic. But some of the things you can buy at heinens are at Meijer, Walmart, Aldi, and even the dollar store for less than half the price of what heinens expects you to spend. It's pretty terrible.

Love this store!!! My daughter just moved into this area and took me grocery shopping. The store was super clean, clerks and stockers were very friendly and helpful!! I Love how the store was set up! I will be back for sure!!!!

Told the guy I would close my trunk from the inside of my car by pressing a button. He ignores, don’t say a word & starts closing by hand even when the trunk was straining to close because it can not be closed by hand he shoves it shut and now when I open my trunk it is making a loud screeching noise … so that is just great
