They have pretty decent prices on meat and dairy products. And they have a really good deli. Produce is sadly subpar. Sometimes you get good stuff sometimes you get stuff that’s just ehh. I would go to reisbecks if you want better produce and selection though. no offense to save a lot. I don’t think they control that but I did buy Macintosh apples there and I made a very delicious applesauce with them.Also, if you want cinnamon sticks, this is definitely the place to go. They have an amazing spice selection. The staff are actually pretty friendly. It is accessible too.

They have this great picture of a full-sized oval watermelon seedless on sale for $3.99 but when you get to the store what you find this a little round ones which are half a as far as I'm concerned that's false advertising. It's not ethical shame on them

I love getting some of my meat products here. As they have some really good deals feom time to time and very cost efficient. Anyone that hasn't been to one yet should definitely try it out. Can't go wrong with saving some money.

This review reflects only the customer service I received while getting a gallon of milk. Checkout lane 1 was apparently open but when I walked to its front, the middle aged assistant manager told me "you might as well go over to the other lanes", as cashier #1 turned his light off. Horrible attitude to customers, no matter the reason.

Stock was good,but cashiers stood and bad mouthed customers after they left,and talked about it's been slow since the 'food stamp people can't come in and fill 2 or 3 carts up on the first' and how 'the foodstampers will get March and April's check soon,so they'll be bavk,and watch out!!' !! Really rude to talk like that in front of customers... maybe one of those customers is someone who NEEDS help but wont get it,because they're ashamed and these cashiers made it worse!

I like this place because you can ask them anything about their products, and they will tell you about them. And they don't sugar coat it. And year's ago, I used to put in Save-A-Lot Stores. One in Cambridge Ohio, but that one isn't there anymore. And one in Crafton Pennsylvania.

Since they renovated they've added a bigger selection. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I recommend shopping here.

Yeah, these people are friendly, funny and have impeccable character. I shop here. I like saving money. I like the food too. This store has integrity and that is a dying quality that they have not let die.

I am not from around here. So this chain is not familiar to me. But everything is boxed canned or frozen. Absolutely nothing fresh no produce no meat. So kind of a weird shopping experience. It's like kind of going to the welfare mart.

This was the first time is ever been to a save a lot and I have to say that I am very pleased the only downside is that they do not have plastic bags to carry your groceries,(they do however have reusable tote bags that you can buy) the staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the prices are very reasonable, I bought $80 dollars worth of groceries for a little under $60 would definitely recommend

They don't have lemon juice, red cabbage, or cilantro which really sucked and their verity of pasta is bad. They also don't have ground chicken or turkey.

It has what you need in all the basics. Just don't get picky about brand names and you will appreciate the lower prices. Bring your own bags.
