This is the best veterinary clinic in the area. We drive from Shadyside to see them because they're so good. The care here is phenomenal and they treat each dog like it's one of their own. I have a very nervous/reactive Australian Shepherd and they are so understanding and accommodating with his needs. I highly recommend them.Attached: pictures of my sweet boys for attention.

Good experience. Other vets were all booked up but the one in Barnesville was able to get me in and take care of my pet's needs. Based on my first experience there, I would definitely recommend this veterinary clinic

Our almost 14 year old lab with a seizure disorder and severe arthritis of the hips and spine had been on low dose phenobarbital for over 12 years. Blood levels always good with no dosage adjustments needed. We asked if they could refill his medication without the pain and added stress of bringing him in for bloodwork, as we knew his days were numbered,and they refused. There is a special place in hell for those who value money over loved pet.

Dr. Melissa Swallie and the ladies were incredibly sensitive, compassionate, professional, and excellent in handling our 5 month old puppy emergency. We were unaware our puppy would have died had they not gotten her in in an emergency visit on Thursday and saved our puppy’s life. Our puppy had a virus and was so quickly and severely dehydrated the staff promptly handled her with utmost care while helping us find solutions to ensure our puppy lived through the night. Dr. Swallie went above and beyond to ensure we made the right decisions by being aware of our options with a heart of compassion and thoughtful conversation, even collaborating with knowledge from a vet in Columbus to help identify the mystery behind our puppy’s drastic situation. I am thrilled and so grateful for this staff who shares in the joys and the sorrows of pet owners with such compassion. They have earned a friend and a customer for all 5 of my pets and as a fellow business owner, I value deeply their culture of compassion. You all get this right! I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Stevens. I believe today was the first day I’ve seen her with my pups and she was honestly one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. She was so kind. She sat on the floor and comforted my pups for several minutes before addressing issues. I felt like she valued my time + my money by recommending ways to help that were reasonable. She was also extremely wise and explained everything. My dogs loved her, I loved her, + for now on, I will be asking for appts with her! Great staff + service!

The staff here were great! I had an emergency and had to have my 12 yr old cat euthanized. The hardest thing I've ever had to do. They let me stay with him and gave me space at the end. They were so empathetic and understanding. I am so grateful for the way they treated me in my time of need. Thank you ladies!

I can not express my gratitude towards all the staff and the vets in this office. They were exceptional and went above and beyond for my baby. I had an emergency situation with the delivery of a pup. They did not hesitate to care for her and they did an amazing job. Everyone was friendly and made me feel at ease in a stressful situation. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will continue to have my pets cared for by them.

After moving to Barnesville we needed a new vet as our old one would be a far drive, after going to Barnesville veterinary services we knew we found the right place, so kind and caring for your animals they really care and don't just check your pet and push you out the door. Very thorough and even follow up to ask how your fur buddy is. We will take every animal my wife ever brings home here.

Usually my experience here has been great but today was an exception. I have a cat with brain damage. She is relatively young. We had finally made the tough decision to put her down. Another vet a few weeks ago confirmed this decision was for the best. I had to argue with the vet who wanted to do a lot of testing to find the reason for this. It got to the point we brought her home. I have two very sensitive daughters (some special needs) and this has been extremely difficult for them.

I called this Veterinary office with a pet emergency. They are not my usual Vet, but they are in walking distance to my home. They told me that they were not seeing any more emergencies that day would be unable to see my dying pet. The person I spoke with went on to say that the Vet that was there had something to do other than see my dying pet. My own Vet is open to anyone walking in the door with an emergency. By the time I got my pet to another Vet, he had to be put down. I will never forget the inhumanity of this office. I will NEVER take a pet there. This pet was a family member. This is wrong and beyond belief for me. I am still grieving this loss.

Customer loyalty seems lacking in every area of the American retail goods and services community none more so than this veterinarian office.It used to feel as if they had genuine empathy for both pet and owner. Now it seems to be all about the mighty dollar which, truth be told, is no longer all that mighty.The younger vets seem to have no feelings about their work. It all seems so mechanical.
