pleasant environment, it's not quite country enough for me as far as camping. by that I mean the privacy is not quite what I would desire for it to be answering to me is more secluded and private the sights there are just a little too close together and that's really the only issue that would prevent me from (personally) visiting.

Staff is friendly and informative. The store selection is very limited. They do have the basic cold foods and camping needs. My husband forgot his hat at home and they sell those. He was happy 😊

Great place to grab extra things if on a pinch for camping, boating, disc golfing, & other recreational things. Their Hersey ice cream is delicious 😋🤤🍦🍨. Wish they carried clip on sunglasses for those who wear prescription glasses (should be in all state parks).

Nice sites and large lake. The disc golf was a definite plus. Trails near the campground are neglected and overgrown.

I love paint Creek. Campsites are spacious and well kept. The park is beautiful and clean. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

Only open 1/2 the week and cannot enter the store unlike other state park camp stores. I understand we are experiencing a pandemic, but shouldn't there be some uniformity with how it is handled in state parks?

Really nice! They have almost everything you need for your camping site! They're open all day for camp hours. Stuff here are really cheap, only like about $5 or less.

Campground is nice but trip here was an adventure. When we got to Rt 138 and Rt 41 Google maps sent us straight on Thrifton Rd 1/2 mile down this road is a bridge with 7 ft 3 in clearance. Really! From now on I'll take my chances with Rand McNally.

Went to the Camp Store for a Frisbee Golf Disc. The Disc Course is a nice trek through the woods!

They have ice cream, coffee and hardware for camping. Friendly and knowledgeable. I wish they had bathrooms there to but oh well.
