Love going into Heinen’s, friendly service always. Hey I even lost my phone and came back hours ltr when I tracked the phone’s location, my phone had been found inside my cart and was turned into the service desk! In these pictures are a few fish I bought halibut on this day. 🐟

Best produce, meat, and bakery selection in the Avon/North Ridgeville area. Store was incredibly clean and staff were everywhere available to help. Giant Eagle and Marc's don't hold a candle to Heinen's. I'm switching stores.

Nice place with good prices and good staff. A little annoying that you have to pull around to have them load your groceries for you but the parking lot is on an incline so I'm guessing there have been problems with runaway carts in the past. Very good BBQ sauce selection which is something that is very important for me.

This place offers quality as their way to compete. Their selection is not as broad, but you can find brands that are not available elsewhere. The selection of different types of a product includes the eclectic. The quality of their fresh produce is the highest. Their service is excellent... each employee is either super knowledgeable or is willing to find someone who is.For this overall quality, you pay. So, if you want General Mills corn flakes and want the best price in town, go somewhere else. If you want a comprehensive and varied selection of produce (and your budget allows), this place is for you.

I have shopped at every grocery store on the west side of Cleveland and Heinen's is unquestionably the best! Some, I won't step foot in again because of the poor quality of the food. Heinen's has very fresh produce, good selection of organic food, high quality meat and dairy, but the one area where no one else comes close is the friendliness and knowledge of the staff!!

This is a typical Heinen's store, well organized, stock, shiny floors and lots of aisle space. This store is pretty comfortable to shop at and real easy to navigate around in. There's plenty of staff around to assist you whenever needed.The seafood, produce, meat, fresh flowers and groceries selection is also great with plenty to choose from. I was giving four stars, except the cashier Donna change my mind to five. She had excellent customer servive and was very friendly

Saturday morning was cold and rainy. My favorite breakfast place failed to put honey dew in the fruit cup. So, I came to Heinens for their lovely produce. I wasn’t sure how to tell if it was ripe. I asked a produce worker for assistance and he kindly began to squeeze melons. I must say, the one he gave me was perfect. Jolly good show!

The floral department at Heinen's Avon is fantastic. I spoke to the department manager, Hannah, and asked her to make my mom an extra special bouquet for Mother's Day this year since my mom is retiring, and Hannah didn't disappoint! Plus, the flowers lasted weeks, which speaks to the fresh quality Heinen's brings to the table. If you are looking to get someone special flowers, skip the online options and give Heinen's Avon a shot; you'll be happy you did. Thanks Hannah!

The shopping experience was great. Every location is different but normally with this establishment. It went great, very immaculate everyone with everyone warm giving us a warm welcoming. Performing job descriptions as trained. Loved the feedback from other patrons wishing my daughter a happy birthday. The store fulfilled her expectations at the bakery. Very well mannered staff from the seafood department, the deli, and bakery. Those were the only interactions we encountered on this particular day. Management should be proud! Work ethics executed great as well as customer service satisfaction. Looking forward to my next visit.

Excellent high quality grocer. Prices on commodities are a bit high for the convenience. Produce and meat are wonderful. In store sushi chef makes fresh sushi. I had not tried their seafood but today got a pack of king. Crab legs as a treat. They thoroughly explained how to cook and they came out perfect, didn't even need but a tiny splash of drawn butter they were so good.Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.

As a new shopper. My first time in there I fell in love..I spent 200 in there abs I've been back almost every day since. It's solid store. Great produce.. veggies are good. Your stuff won't go bad fast.. the staff is always friendly and helpful. So good that I had to tip the cashier and the bagger. Beautiful place for you health fanatics.. in closing all I can say is go in there and be blessed

Update 2023-09-10Self-checkout is coming. The store is currently renovating to install the new lanes. The area formerly occupied by one of the 1-12 item lanes is the spot.Older---Freshly paved parking lot with new lines. Prices on some produce has moderated.Still a great place to shop. Keep in mind that the store closes on major holidays. Like they should.Update 2023-04-14The dividers are gone! Finally. Checkout lanes are once again free of the annoying plastic dividers.Feels good.An item I have previously omitted is the excellent selection of health items located near the flowers when you first enter the store. I like the mushroom products from Om.On the shelves, there are an increasing number of Heinen's branded items. They have also expanded the Ohio based greens offerings - mainly lettuces.Carts are still allowed outside in the parking lot. The traditional option of pulling up and having your groceries loaded for you remains.Honestly not sure how I feel about the change. Did they do it based on feedback? Staffing shortages?Masks remain optional. There are wipes available if you want to swab down your cart. Safety dividers remain in place at the checkout lanes.Check closing time if you're planning on coming in the evening.Produce, fruit and fish (try the 60 South salmon) are the main reasons I keep coming back. The Gerbers chicken is also a notch above.Heinens offers several ways to shop: in store, online with curbside pickup and delivery.Staff is always friendly and genuinely seem to like where they work.

I recently bought Little Neck clams at the Avon store. Out of 100 clams, none were broken or open. The clams were very fresh and delicious. They were packaged nicely and they provided me with the cheesecloth bags, as well as cleaning instructions. I highly recommend Heinen’s seafood department

Yes! We love this grocery store! We try to eat very clean and organic and this store has the largest selection of organic produce and fruit. All of their produce and fruit are fresh and high quality. Their meat counter also has very good selections of good meat. If you are looking for high quality food then shop here.

If you buy a cake from heinen's be careful on what you order, the balloons that we got on our cake look like a 2-year-old made them. Hopefully the cake tastes better than what it looks like. Also I told them a variety of colors and what do I get yellow,blue,and green. Well the cake letters are blue and the trim is yellow only one green balloon. Should have put a red & orange balloon too. 😩

I love the sushi here! The handmade soaps always smell good! Avon Heinen's has delicious Hungarian pastries! The drive up area is also convienent especially if you do alot of shopping and need assistance! I can't wait to pick up my mebership card next time I go.

Heinen’s always has the best selection of hot food - their fried chicken is especially great. They have a great butcher’s as well, and they’re one of the only local supermarkets where I can get American “wagyu” steak, which is about halfway the quality and marbling of real Wagyu, but for a fraction of the price. They also have tons of beers, wines, and cheeses, which makes it the perfect place to shop if you’re planning a party where you’re serving charcuterie.

As of today Heinens quit using instacart which worked great to some unknown service that cost me $20.00 for delivery and tip. Nothing arrived!!!! Nothing, yet I was still charged almost $100.00. Then they had the nerve to send an email asking how much did I enjoy their new service. I called right away and explained what happened, and they ask me if I’m placing an order. So I finally got through to the person on the phone. They said the driver usually takes a picture of the delivery but it takes 3 days to get it. The girl finally agreed to give me a full refund but it won’t return to my bank account about 3 days later. I love Heinens but I am taking my shopping elsewhere!I would have given it 0 stars but that choice is not available.

This store is beautiful. It is well stocked with everything you could need, even specialty items. They offer a great gluten free and vegan options. They have a great stir fry bar if you have time to eat, this service also has gluten free and vegan options. The produce department has a large variety of hard to find produce like Buddha’s hand and pink lemons! The staff is always friendly and helpful. They even have a dietitian that can help you out with any questions you might have.
