You can’t have a plastic bag but they sell items in plastic containers. You can put your produce in little plastic bags in the produce section. The meat is wrapped in plastic. But I must check out with a paper bag.

Eh it’s a Walmart. Just leaving a review because no one EVER comes to the skincare isle when you press the button for something out of the locked case. Just going spend a little more and get my skincare items from Kroger.I also remember there being like two employees in each department to help customers and you never see anyone except 5 people in electronics who don’t help you.AND get rid of the people asking customers about their electric bill. It’s literally so annoying.

Great selection of stuff. It's right along the bike path which is really useful. I bought raisin bread, spray paint, and a headlamp.

Never shop Athens ohio the phone been ringing literally 30 mins on electronic. If don't hire enough peopleto answer phone there won't be enough to help you if you go to store in my opinion

The only thing I dislike about Walmart is the fact when you need help finding something the staff beats feet away from you. So aggravating and frustrating.

Good customer service. Certain items missing on shelves. Need more of the small shopping carts and sometimes baskets but customers carry them off I was told. Customers put carts in designated locations florist part but occasionally you will find them in handicap and other problem spots.

I love the athens Walmart. The team of workers are friendly and helpful (for the most part) and it's always clean and organized.

I sat in the pick up lane for over an hour. I checked in, showed up athe correct time, and called after about a half hour. I suspect that they forgot about my order but the lame excuse was that they were just running a little behind. There were probably about 15 vehicles that showed up after me and got their groceries and left before I got mine. Spending the little extra money and switching to Kroger from here on out.

This Walmart was really good. They were well-stacked in everything. Also, the staff did a great job! While doing mission work with Bible Truth Baptist Church in the area, me and almost one hundred other teens came to the area and went to this Walmart every day. So they had great patience! Also, they were helpful. One day, I was trying to buy gifts for a group of teens I was leading for the week, and I totally miscalculated my finances. A worker was gracious and helped me, taking some products off my purchase so I could buy what I could afford. I am so thankful they let that go smoothly! This Walmart could really use a round of applause, but I'm guessing they would rather have your business.😆 So, don't hesitate to come here!

I needed clothes to change into, and I am always pleasantly surprised by the styles that they provide. I got a nice gray t-shirt and a super cool white/cream denim style jacket. I got lots of compliments later.

I have submitted an application for this store. It's been 3 weeks and I've heard nothing from them. I talked to the hiring manager 2 weeks ago in person inquiring about my application. It was said they would look it over an give me a call. Not heard from them. Been visiting everyday since to speak with the manager again but turns out they are always busy or not in the office. I feel I am being ignored an not offered an equal opportunity to work for this establishment. I will contact your Corporate Office and the Better Business Bureau. I'm leaving this review as a warning to anyone trying to get a job here.

Back in 2020 I went to this Walmart to buy a gun cabinet and I was rudely told that Walmart doesn’t sell them, but guess what I found one in the next aisle but that individual pissed me off so I didn’t buy it.
