2023 Update...Still a great place with helpful welcoming staff. Ever changing variety of clothing, household items, holiday decor, etc.Books are plentiful and FREE! Great place to donate whatever you no longer are using/no longer need!2018:Nice staff. Lots of variety for resale items. Also great place to donate clothes, toys, household items, furniture that you are no longer using!

Normally I would say excellent because I love going in there. Great people reasonable prices. but not this time. Man at counter couldn't even ask someone to get me a price check on some doors out side. He said they should be marked, they was not or at least where I could see. He seen I was struggling with 3 little kids but just sat there not interested in making a sale. I was interested in 5 doors and left without buying a thing.

Sadly this place has become a dump!!3 years ago I left a 5 star review because this place was great, clean, organized and fantastic prices. I don't know what happened, my guess is new management, but it is HORRIBLE now. Trash looking junk everywhere, not even well kept. Stuff spilling onto the floors. Frankly, it's a trip and fall accident waiting to happen.Plus Prices have quadrupled in price. Do Not waste your time coming here. It's disorganized expensive junk. I am so very disappointed !☹️

Some areas are a bit over packed but you can't beat the prices in Athens. No point in even going to any Goodwill outside of Cbus, this is 10x better. Good customer service and great prices.

I absolutely loved this place BUT, about a year ago I went there to furnish a 3 bedroom home & a 1 bedroom home. I spent over $1,000 there. The furniture was ok but not what I picked out & put on hold so when I got there instead of loading up I had to pick out everything all over again. Then after getting everything home & together we started finding bed bugs & have been fighting them ever since. We have spent well over $3,500 to get rid of them and are still continuing to fight them!!!! All I am saying is they will NEVER have business from us ever again & I suggest no one else does either because they claim to spray & sanititize everything but evidently not because we moved into an empty newly built home with no problems beforehand but now we do & have ever since buying furniture there. Just look at everything VERY closely when buying any furniture or anything with fabric. Just watch out & be safe & eyes open when looking around because they are ridiculous with bed bugs

I could spend a few days picking thru all the things there. We spent an hour and I know we only saw a tenth of what they currently have. I just wish they weren't so over priced! I love thrift stores, mainly because everything is super cheap and you just never know what you'll find. But $100 for a couch? $30 for a twin size memory foam pad? There was a sign that said "this rack not included in bag sale" and I still don't know what bag sale it was referring too. There is so much stuff, and although they were fairy busy, I understand why the merchandise is piled so high.

I could spend hours and hours in this little hidden gem located in Athens Ohio. Packed full of little cool things and proceeds go to a great cause. The staff is friendly and greet you with a smile. Can't wait to get back.

Great deals. In fact, I picked up a Nerf Gun for 10 cents. Turns out, it's worth $30-40.Only complaint is the organization. But, let's be real. You're going to a thrift store; are you really expecting it to have exquisite organization and cleanliness? I doubt it. But overall, around 5/5, maybe 4.5-4.9/5.

I love the variety of items. To find the good stuff a lot of time you gotta spend time searching through things but the hunt is what I love!! Some times prices are a bit high for items that were only donated, however they are always having some awesome sale

The New-To-You Thrift Shop is a pleasant, informal experience with a wide variety of used merchandise and a staff that is accommodating and pleasant. I've been there several times and find something different on every visit. A great place for the budget shopper

They have tons of items to look through, I only made it a quarter of the way through the store, found house hold things, n shoes for my husband and cloths n a nice dressy gray jacket n a few hoodies. Made it over to sheets n found 3 nice pillows we needed. Was there for 2 n 1/2 hours n they said 10 mins till closing time I was still rummaging through the store and I finally checked out, spent $21 bucks on a cart load. I was so excited and surprised. Wanting to return very soon to look at the rest of the stuff. I recommend you go to the this store u'll find something u'd like or need n cheap also cheaper than Goodwill. Love this store 😍

A good place to go to find last minute items when your budget is small. A lot of decent stuff and the staff are friendly. They need to clear out some junk items that are not serviceable and should not be sold. The place could use some brightening up. .

There are some real gems in this store that you can find if you're willing to dig for them. Otherwise you might find it a bit disorganized and confusing, but they have great prices and friendly staff based off my experience.

Easy access from the highway, private parking lot. All sorts of donated things can be found here at a reasonable price. Household items, clothing, furniture, outdoor stuff, electronics, kitchen items...
