What they're doing is wonderful and I want to talk to some Congressman and make a law against what they're doing in Kentucky and Ohio to hurt their horses and it is so wonderful that Last Chance Corral is taking care of these babies that have been abandoned and this this practice that the racehorse people have must be stopped

I volunteered here. They truly love these horses and are dedicated to finding good homes for them! The babies are watched 24/7, and their health is well documented from their feeding habits to their poo! They're very knowledgable. They are strict, but it's because the foals are fragile and need a lot of care and attention. Maybe someday I can come back and adopt, when I graduate and have a solid amount of money saved up. Thank you for what you do, Last Chance 💕

I adopted my nurse mare foal, Golden Opportunity (Opie) from Victoria in May of 2006 & my 2 friends, experienced horseman, each adopted a foal too. A life long horse owner & former hunter professional, I was so impressed with her operation. Victoria probably knows more about neo-matal foal care than most vets! And she's got a really good eye for a horse. She's tough; but she makes sure you are ready to take on the enormous responsibility of raising a foal with no mommy mare. It was a rewarding adventure. Worked much better for the 3 foals that they had each other. I raised my boy, broke him & trained him (with a "little" help from my friends). I have a beautiful, lovely dressage horse! Just can't say enough about this place. They also take in some adult horses - all grown up & ready to go!

They do an amazing job here. My foals were in great health and are doing great!!! I can't say enough good things about Last Chance, they are only here for the health and welfare of the foals they take in.

My daughter found out about here from a book she read. I looked it up and found out all about it! Its so sad yet happy! We live in Illinois so that’s pretty far away from here. But we might come and volunteer!

I share cause I care. A horse will last a lifetime if you can take care him, training and enjoy his or hers life. Stop going to the sale barn go here and purchase a good baby.
