Went in to get nails clipped on my dog. No customers at all there. No one even in the parking lot. 2 girls behind the counter, one standing at the end of counter eating a bowl of food. They declined to clip the nails on my dog and said that I needed to email them. That's an email they will never get. I had a handful of money that they obviously didn't want.

Love my little local pet shop! They make sure to always have the top and healthiest products for your furry friends. Super friendly staff and there's almost always some kitties in there to pet and/or adopt!

We made a second appointment to have our puppies claws clipped and we were 11 minutes late, I asked if they would help anyway since the place was empty but they refused and told me to reschedule. It only takes a few minutes to do. I thought we had the perfect place to get her taken care of, but I will reschedule somewhere else. Gave 2 stars because the first appointment was great.

Took our girl Mexie here today to get her nails done. The groomer was great and super fast. Reasonable price also! Very happy. We will definitely be returning!

Shelly is absolutely amazing! She's so knowledgeable. I have an overweight cat and was looking for food to help her lose some weight and also calm her anxiety. Shelly delivered on both! I'm trying her suggestions for food and have been using the collar she suggested for anxiety. This is a wonderful place for pets and the staff is caring and knowledgeable about their products.

Great place with great management! My dog has a special diet and it was so nice to find a supplier in Athens. They saved me having to drive to columbus. Customer service is above and beyond!

This place does cat grooming and they are absolutely fantastic! I have a cat who is not easy to groom, but they made it look easy and my cat looked brand new. Also, the whole experience took only 30 minutes (granted my cat was only dry-shampooed). I loved the staff and the store had lots of great toys, food, and adoptable cats. I would highly recommend.

Friendly Paws is my one-stop-shop for all of my best boy’s needs. The staff is very friendly, always helpful, and treat my dog as if he was their own. The owner, Shelley, is the absolute BEST and beyond accommodating. The groomers always do an amazing job making my boy look incredible. It’s literally my favorite place to shop in Athens!

Friendly Paws is a great pet store!Products: If they don't have the product you are looking for, they will order it for you. With my experience, it was even cheaper than ordering from Amazon! Overall, their selection is great. I have bought harnesses and collars for my growing Saint Bernard there. They even took the time to make sure it fit properly.Customer Service: They are super quick to let you know when something you have ordered has arrived and also great about calling to remind you of the upcoming grooming appointment.Grooming: I can't rave enough about the grooming. They aren't even intimidated by giant breed dogs!Price: Extremely competitive! They even offer coupons.Over all, this is the best place to buy your pets the items they need!

Staff here really makes this place shine. They offer higher quality food for your pet and grooming services. The high quality food costs more but it's the same price as you'll find online. Have not utilized grooming service but have witnessed people picking up their pet and they're always happy with the result.

What a wonderful local treasure this place is! I received personal attentive service. They listened to my pets needs and gave great suggestions. I had my dog groomed for the first time. The groomer was great with my older, achy Yorkie. I will definitely be back!!

Love, Love, Love Friendly Paws. Always have such great advice on products and solutions to help with my fur babies. Shelly truly cares about what she does, and she has even given advice on things to before you have to spend money if not needed - its not always about selling something with them, its truly about caring for your animals! I love how they support the local animal rescue as well, and won't shop anywhere else for my pet stuff :) I should mention their prices are equal to some of the discount stores, but you all get here is quality products!!

Super helpful. I had been dealing with awful fleas on my two cats and found the cure here. I had no idea what I was looking for, but they definitely steered me in the right direction at what I think is a great price. Some other things are a little pricey, but it's a small business and for the amount they know and are able to help, I'd happily spend a couple extra dollars for the quality of the business.

The staff is always kind and knowledgeable. They also work closely with the dog shelter, humane society and a women's shelter to help keep families with their pets. I wouldn't trust anyone else to help me feed or groom my pets. They also offer pet sitting and are very good about taking care of the animals.

Wrongfully accused of skipping an appointment. Only had one grooming appointment there and the dog showed up. I called to make an appointment today and the owner accused me of skipping my last appointment, I was called a liar and told I am also predictable. I just tried to schedule a grooming appointment for my dog but was instead harassed. The owner was called back and she said she had me for a wrong person which was obviously a lie. A business that treats its customers so rude on the phone is not one I will use, I cannot imagine how they would treat my dog.

They are rude not welcoming even when they say hello it sounds fake. They ask you several times while looking at things if they can help you. And they watch you As iff you are a thief! It use to be great when Michelle owned it. Will not spend my hard earn dollars at this local pet shop.
