The store in Athens Ohio is cleaness Dollar Tree I ever been to. You even see the manager stocking shelves.Always tell him how nice his store looks.

During my visit everything was well stocked & organized. We found several gems video link on my youtube channel. I am a real person so my reviews are sincere. The store is fairly large & there were no long lines @ all. Must be nice to work @ a well paced store.🛒👩‍🏫🍞🍨🚻♿

After returning some items, I was given a gift card with $11 on it, since they don't give back cash or put your money back on your card. I went back twice to try and use the gift card. Both times the card didn't work. On my last trip I was informed that they can't honor the gift card because I no longer had the receipt showing the amount of the return. That was truly my last visit. It is not about the measly $11 because I typically spend hundreds at this store every year. It is the principle of it. I'll never go back to a store that will not find a way to honor their gift card. It feels like a total rip-off to claim that a company can't figure out the balance on a card that the company issued! So, instead of honoring the $11 on the gift card, they would rather lose hundreds per year. That is so shortsighted because now me and my money are going to a place where I can trust them to honor their gift cards and work with customers.

Dollar Tree is my absolute favorite chain of dollar stores. I was thrilled to learn there was one in Athens when I moved here. While only a few of the employees are friendly, the store is usually clean and well-stocked. This is a great place to get holiday or party decor and supplies on a budget, as well as other items like craft supplies, snacks, greeting cards and household consumables. Everything is $1 or less, with no exceptions. I visit at least once a week and their inventory is constantly being updated, which is great to see as a budget-conscious shopper.

The dollar tree located on 743 E state street in Athens Ohio , has a suprisinglybig inventory and the staff here are very nice and very helpful they seem to have worked here for a while .

The Dollar Tree in Athens is very big, clean and well organized. I was able to get a lot today. Very pleased. The store in Lancaster is very dirty, cluttered, dark looks like a shipping department, very hard to shop in.

They have everything you need in one store for $1. Even steak, I ate the steak and it was so good. Just the right size portion for me and it was melt in your mouth amazing. I went back the next day and got a dozen more. Definitely can't beat the price too.

I can generally always find what I need here. For parents and teachers, they have awesome educational books (even common core workbooks). However, the lines are always long to check out and the customer service skills are horrible! Today, Jacob should've either stayed at home or left his cell phone at home since he was on it the WHOLE time!

One of the biggest Dollar Tree's I have been to! So much to look at! Great selection! And a freezer section! Only reason it's not a five is management never has enough people working. The lines get ridiculously long and they only have 1 person working.

Did not appreciate that the cashier was not wearing a mask. It’s required by the state and I expect employers to require employees to abide by the rules. I am 72 years old and I wear a mask whenever I go into a store to protect essential workers and I would like the same respect from employees.

Ok so I understand that the rona has everyone scared, but is not letting an 8yr old use the restroom due to the virus or are they nastier than a truck stop bathroom? This place is a joke and they are rude. Waiting for a sign to say "under new management" because it seriously needs it. It really is a shame, this could be a nice store with new folks that care for customers and care about cleanliness. The floor is so dirty you could grow corn in it. Here's a new concept, actually take pride in your job, no matter what it is.

Best place for cheap cell phone ear buds, charger cords... and many other needs.Plastic containers for picnics, REUNIONS. If lost or forgot no problem $1.25 items. No need to worry.

This was not the greatest trip this Dollar Tree. Checking out works a lot better when the cashier isn’t on her personal phone. It is also nice when the cashier isn’t complaining about her job.

Today there was an employee screaming across the store about the bathroom keys apparently getting mixed up. My boyfriend had very politely asked an employee if he could use the restroom, she proceeded to tell him where the key was and directed him towards the bathroom. Shortly after another employee with long black hair grabbed the key out of his hands and rudely said “I’ll take that you weren’t supposed to have it” and proceeded to yell about it in front of all the customers. Completely uncalled for behavior.

I go to the dollar tree fairly often and every time I go there is a lady working there by the name Sylvia. Sylvia is always so nice (much nicer than most of the other workers) and helpful as well!

Great staff, good selection. If it can be sold for a dollar, you'll find it here. But be warned, expect certain things to not last long- I mean they are made cheaper, they were only a dollar! Toys break almost immediately.

Love to shop here, customer service skills are terrible!! I was there a lady was standing at the cash register while on “break” the other cashier who had a long line asked for help said I still have “36 seconds” until my break is over…

Buyer beware. Products are in smaller packaging and often costs more than at a large supermarket. If you just want a small amount that will work well.

The store has lots of items but the store is dirty and has not been swept in a long time. The staff yells across the store during every shopping trip and the manager is not friendly at all. Very sad it could be a nice store.

Everything is actually $1--like no joke. When I am here, I am typically full of regret as I find items that I had previously purchased for much more. Check this place first before you shop elsewhere for everyday goods!

Went in looking for a few items that i couldn't find i waked up asked the associate at the front of the store he told me where it was supposed to be told him i was back there looking and he told me that i wasn't looking hard enough and refused to help me locate it. I put all of my items back and left... Shameful
