Pets well taken care of. Willing to provide updates. Pets do not intermingle with pets outside of same household for safety purposes. Indoor/outdoor runs. Always great customer service too. My pets don't like being away but. I know they are well cared for.

We boarded our 2 cats for 6 weeks. They each had their own space but could go back and forth between the cages to visit. They were also let out of their cages frequently to run around the cat room and look out the windows at the birds. They seemed fine when we picked them up. I would recommend Slate Run Kennels for anyone who needs to board their cat. Jennifer even sent us pics from time to time!

I've taken my dog there while I'm away on overnight trips to 8 day trips and we love it. I never worry about her and she's well taken care of. You can't beat it for the price!

This is the best place to take your pet! It was my first time taking my dog to a kennel, and I was worried about my pup. They sent me a video of him playing, while I was on vacation! I was so elated! They will take care of your fur baby. You will have no worries leaving them here!

A true gem. Finding a kennel that has a run versus a home-type kennel was hard enough. But my two dogs and two cats have no issues with this location. My last kennel, All Tails R Waggin', my dogs came home and wouldn't eat for several days and my one became fearful of men. When I called asking if something happened they said nothing. When I would go pick them up, they couldn't wait to leave, almost clawing out of the doors.But at Slate Run Kennels, my dogs weren't not anxious at all when they left, it was amazing. And my cats seemed completely content with everything too. Jennifer was able to fulfill my crazy requests of having my dogs stay in kennels across from each other, so they could see one another, and let them go outside together so they could play for a bit.When I went initially, sort of like an interview (because I'm THAT kind of pet parent) I saw 3 people check in, and all of them were regulars and all of their dogs were happy to see Jennifer.Best Kennel around, very, very happy. I currently drive 30 minutes one way for her. I plan on moving to the north/northwest side of Columbus and I will still make the trip to her

Kennelled my dog here for 10 days and was very happy with the care!!! The place is clean and the dogs seemed to be well taken care of. Her prices were great and she seemed to genuinely care for the dogs. I will definitely use her again.

It’s always hard to be away from my pup, but Slate Run Kennel makes it so much easier knowing he is in good hands! The owner is very nice and accommodating, and my dog loves her! The facilities are really nice and he gets plenty of time outside. I highly recommend this kennel! Thanks so much for the loving care you give to all the dogs!

We have left our doberman in Jennifer's care three times now and could not be more pleased. The facility is clean and well run, and most importantly Jennifer, the owner, is fantastic to work with and genuinely cares about the animals. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Very good service got appointment quickly, very clean, nice people, showed that they care alot about your pet. I asked them to send pictures of our dog and they did at a quick response. I would tell people to use them.

The best kennel in pickaway county by far..they have the indoor outdoor runs for your dog..that way they don't have to mess with your pet . especially if he's not very nice like my dog..it's the only place he has not been kicked out of...the owners and staff Know how to take care of any dog or cat with pain in the butt tendencies
