I thought I left my phone on the counter when I checked out. When I got home I called them and asked if I left it there and they said they didn't see it. My thoughts went to the worst...... someone took it. I called back up to the store and asked if they could look at the security cameras to see if the person behind me took it. He jumped on the computer to look and see for me and before he could see anything my fiance brought it out of the front door. I never took it with me. Everyone was very nice. Thank you very much for your customer service.

It’s hard for any retail establishment to be perfect. So, i have to score them based on reality. The reality is that their service is better than average USUALLY. Their selection is decent considering the size of their store. Their prices are fair. They try to modernize and upgrade selection and technology at a decent pace.All in all I would say it is a job well done.

Staff was very helpful spending time correcting a promotion that didn't ring up correctly. The register process seemed a little excessive to correct an overcharge of $1.35 but that's a corporate issue not the employees. The employees were very patient, cared about getting the transaction right, and taking ownership of running the store. Frankly I would have rather let it go than watching them spend so much time but I appreciate them fixing the problem.

New setup is great! The new isle markers make finding items quick and easy. They have new cold cases, offering a greater selection refrigerated food and drinks. They now have produce and a self-checkout

90% of employees and even outside vendors are very rude to customers. Typically several delivery vendors are in the store blocking most aisles (very small food section). Multiple times I've heard them laughing about how customers with carts, strollers, or wheelchairs, will just have to wait until thier done stocking (an entire shelf) before they can come through the aisle. I'm sure these associates are perfectly educated on how to safely stock a store, while open for business hours, but customer service and basic insight is lacking. The cashiers will also openly complain about other employees, how busy the store is, that they're overworked and burned out. Or they'll completely blow you off. If you're lucky you might bump into the two employees who are pleasant.

I love to go to dollar general when I need something and I don’t have to drive very far.Btw on Saturdays if you bought something you get discounts over 25$

Good store to find things you need in a hurry. Staff is nice. Only issue is it can be a little crowded

Always very slow at the registers need more help they always need someone on cash and then others doing stocking I know hours are tight during the winter but it doesn't help business

There great workers very helpful but there is one rude heavy set woman that will not help you or say excuse me just walk threw you and treat you like you a shop lifter other then that i love it best one i been to in a long long time

It's a dollar general. Good selection, sometimes there are really good deals, but usually just shop here for convenience.

The Ashley Dollar General is the best one in the area, IMHO. It's usually clean, well stocked, and we'll staffed.

Ashley could use a real grocery store instead of this high price low quality alternative. Dollar General and Subway, two stores you'll find in any poor small town. Ashley doesn't have a Subway yet.
