I purchased a five shelf rack for my garage. As I was near finishing the assembly I noticed one of the brackets was not finished and would not attach to the unit. It took 55 minutes to assemble the unit. I didn’t want to disassemble it. I thought the best solution would be for Home Depot to remove the bracket I need from one of their boxes, send that box back to their supplier. That’s not what they wanted me to do. They said I have to disassemble my unit and return it. Now I have a shelving unit that I can only safely use three of the shelves. Needless to say I will never do business with them again.

We love Home Depot in Ashland! Recently everyone in my house was sick. Our sink started leaking. Just everything that could go wrong was going wrong. I took my new born with me to go get parts... guess who left all the parts in the cart then got home to realize it. Someone stole my purchase. I was devastated. The manager confirming and knowing we were JUST there replaced the parts for free. It was the ultimate kindness. I swear the people are what make it great. Forever grateful for kindness coming from someone stealing of paid for things.

Today I went in there and was getting stuff to build a garden. I had 2 boards I needed cut so I took them back to cutting section and the dude snarked at me when I told him what I needed done. Then after that he proceeded to cut the boards the wrong size from what I told him and he acted like I had told him different when in fact he was in the wrong and started to get irritated at me. I solved the problem went and got 2 more boards and had them cut the right way. Then I moved over to get soil and mulch got that all really well the lady over there is a sweetheart so I went to checkout where the guy questioned me for the amount of boards I had since they were cut I told him 2 and now that I have left I see I have been charged for 3 and my advice to you is do not go here these people are incompetent and not there to help you!!

This is beyond acceptable. You informed me that this grill was ready to be picked up from an online order. EVEN UPS had to add tape to a grill that was very much dropped on its face several times and maybe even run over. YOU received this and then notified me it was good/ready FOR PICKUP. It never left your store. Why would your employees feel this is “OK”. Very disappointing. Thank god there are other companies who stand behind what they sell.

This review is specific to the garden area. Plants were mostly healthy and well watered. No staff to help you if you need it so you have to go and try and hunt someone down which....takes a while. They do have organic vegetables now which was nice to see!

Went to get a storm door, stood there looking at the different styles and NOT A SINGLE EMPLOYEE came to see if we needed help! I went to get a lumber cart, Walked by several employees standing around TALKING, still not a single person asked if I needed help! Went to get a filter for my fridge, didn’t know which one I needed, saw several employees, still no one asked if I needed help. Did NOT buy the filter! At checkout I saw even more employees standing around talking! Basically gave my opinion at one employee who asked what I was trying to do when I was trying to get to the checkout. Told her of my experience! Worst experience I have EVER had at this store! Nothing but worthless young women working who are either too lazy to help or know nothing about their work! Saw several men employees running around trying to help customers! They need to start firing worthless employees!

I think I come here at least two times a day. Overall I am very happy with this door and all the staff. They always have what I need and all of the shelves are nice and clean and organized. The overall area is safe and very accessible with a large parking lot, easy for me to get in and out of Eden with a trailer.

Worst experience ever!!!November 10 we ordered all the cabinets to do the kitchen remodel. We received them timely and had booked with a contractor to get them installed. As soon as he got to the house and we got them unboxed we discovered we had damaged cabinets along with cabinets that weren't on our receipt and were the incorrect size.November 28 we returned the wrong and damaged cabinets and got the correct ones re-ordered. We had to go through a return and re-purchase process for this.December 12 we received another order of cabinets that were damaged again!! We had to go through another return and reorder process! small refund was issued and discount applied to reorder of cabinets.December 19 I got a call from the Ashland Home Depot store that my cabinets were delivered to their store, again, they're damaged!! At this point I don't know what else to do, I have spent countless hours in the store and multiple hours on the phone trying to get the situation rectified!I have waited nearly 2 months to have my kitchen remodel completed, had to schedule and reschedule with our contractor multiple times, wasted countless hours in the store, hundreds of dollars in diesel fuel driving back and fourth to the nearest store (30 minutes)!!!!We ordered these cabinets initially with the intent that the kitchen would be completed by Thanksgiving. I was told today that if I reorder the cabinets I need again, they wouldn't be in until mid-January.The Home Depot this is completely ridiculous!

I am from Texas! We have horses! We love horses, but I have never seen a sign like this! It made my day! The service was good a always! I need bricks to hold down my tarp! I got just what I needed to do the job! But as I drive back to Texas I am still stuck on my now favorite sign!😂😂😂

We walked around looked at several things including riding mower and nobody in the store ever asked us did we need help or said anything to us at all they acted like we were not even there so we left.

Sold me broken AND repacked merchandise via curbside pickup, then refused to allow me to return the broken AND repacked merchandise they sold me without going into the store, which defeats the point of curbside pickup.Update: two years later, I still continue to receive opened and badly repacked merchandise from this location when using store pickup. I really wish there was a different hardware nearby.

Alert for Drivers: No Deliverys on Weekends: Arrived at receiving after being verbally told (one day prior) that we can deliver on Saturday. Arrived on Saturday to receiving and told they don't receive deliveries on the weekend. An employee in receiving on April 21, 2023 who verbally ok'd the delivery needs additional training. And our broker who we booked this load with should also have been aware of receiving hours.

I am so disappointed with Home Depot. We ordered a washer dryer set in December they gave us a date and then push the date for delivery back to January. Got them both here and when they loaded the washer in the truck for delivery they damaged our washer. So we called and wanted to get a replacement. So they said it will be delivered for January 17th. And they called and said they loaded a dryer not the washer. So we where told it will be delivered Jan 31. And now told we can’t get the washer til March. I will never buy any appliances from Home Depot again they just give you a run around.

Completely happy with the Ashland county Home Depot. As soon as we walk in we're approached by an associate for assistance and then again in the insulation area. Then asked if we needed assistance to load our products. The store is always clean and orderly, unlike the the Elyria and Medina stores.My compliments to the store managers and staff. Thank you

Had a great experience here. I was attempting to load twenty-five 50lb bags of play sand onto a cart. A young man, Ethan, stopped to see if I needed help.He loaded those bags so fast then took the cart to the checkout for me.He then loaded them into the back of my truck.I watched him and saw that he was using safe lifting techniques.He was kind and very strong.I appreciate all his help.Home Depot found a great employee!Nice Job Ethan!

Love this store don't love the policy change. Veterans do not get discounts on anything they deem as building supplies, materials, appliances. Anything that is deemed as a commodity item.. no count.. so my we bought a candy bar... nope not included. Why go now??.. Lowes will give you a discount even vets as long as you fill out the paperwork. ...so 😞 no signs to let you know just a surprise at checkout.

My wife and I were looking at replacing a couple doors in our house, one front entrance with side panels and one that is sliding glass, I also have 2 more doors that I was thinking of replacing, so in total it could have been 4 doors. Home Depot in Ashland said in order to get a quote for install I would have to pay $40 to have someone come out and look at it. Yes you heard correct $40 NON REFUNDABLE deposit to get a quote. We had Lowes show up 2 times to measure and give us a quote and they charged $0. I also called Universal Windows Direct, actually emailed them on a Sunday, 2 minutes later we had an appointment, guy shows up next day, measures, quotes us and next thing you know I have new doors on the way. Moral of the story Home Depot, You may have saved $40 for a trip to measure and quote, but you lost minimum $10K in door sales. For anyone else, do not go to Home Depot for doors, they obviously do not want to sell them, unless your doing a self install, then by all means charge on and put that puppy in. Needless to say, I am glad I did not go with Home Depot, because I can imagine if your charging me $40 just to come and look, you would probably charge a pretty penny for your install.

I'm disabled, and we bought a nice looking Winter cover for our new 3 person swing. It looked sold, rigid, and rectangular, in every online photo. We Hought 4 48 inch screen type ground anchors in advance of the cover delivery and installed them. However, to our surprise, it does not come with any type, of support frame. I bought PVC pipe to make a light as I could internal frame, and Home Depot cut all the pieces for me to make things easier to assemble. Huge help. Thanks for the excellent customer service. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry when I gave my put list, and forgot to have the two long front and rear pipes cut, so I could add six cross sections to sustain a snowboard, so I'll have to bring those back to be cut. Great job. And BRAVO to Brandon that cut my pipe in advance for my pickup.

The fact that Home Depot will no longer return items without a receipt is annoying. Bought the wrong length track for sliding door, not opened and not able to return or exchange. Thinking I will go out of my way to take my business somewhere else. For me its just another reason to try to support smaller businesses vs shopping for convenience!

They've improved their customer service. Not hard to find someone to help you. A lot of times they will have what Lowe's or Menards don't have. Selection is pretty good.They could really use more battery-operated carts. 2 are not enough! It's a long walk when you're in pain.Finally, find better help in the appliance department. The elderly woman needs better people skills. We've taken more than $5,000 worth of business elsewhere due to her.
