For those of you following us as we make our way around Ashland restaurants, our group made it to Perkins this time and for the most part all were happy with our meals ( one person's egg burger was way overdone, everyone else gave a thumbs up- my pancakes with strawberries were delicious) but the 2 whole pies we had for dessert were the cherry on top! The lemon meringue and the peanut butter pies were amazing! The waitresses were patient with our large group & took great care of us. Thanks Ladies!

This Perkins is at a very popular exit,but very under staffed and under managed .This morning, I was at this Perkins for over one hour and twenty five minutes for breakfast. Not to many times did I observe anyone, including the female blonde short haired manager smile.This crew is in great need of a true leader.I truly believe that this group of young people will perform above and beyond with the proper leadership and caring work area.Whoever owns this property has a gold mine, but not with its present environment.

First time eating at Perkins. Out for our Easter ride, Perkins was open so we ventured inside for a bite. Satisfied. Good food, good price, and great service. Our waitress was friendly, greeted us with a smile and helpful tips. Serving size is plenty, and desert looked amazing, just had no more belly room. We tried the Pot Roast sandwich and Southwest salad, delicious. Glad we stopped and most definitely will return.

I'm not sure what was going on with my server but usually when you give your customers their food they ordered and they start eating it you don't take it away and say you've messed up. ( What we ordered was the right thing given to us by the way) we waited for a long time for our food to begin with. Our server never told us what was going on nor came back to the table. It honestly weirded my family and I out so we left. It was a very disappointing experience sense in the past Perkins has been a great place to eat.

Sat down and waited over half an hour and still hadn't had our food yet while all the tables around us that came after us we're already eating. We had stopped in here two days ago and had good service and took home a pie which was all good and today was the complete opposite. NOT OKParking: Easy to park

Whenever my wife and I get down your way , we always stop in.Today,we drove down from Cleveland with friends. We all were very happy with our meals and hospitality. I was actually shocked at how sending yhe for was! It has been years since I was at this Perkins. As soon a you walk in the baked goods in the show case look PERFECT! Honestly looked better than any bakery I have been in.I went the day after Thanksgiving, it was busy but the waitresses were all working hard and did a great job!HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Had to wait for a table, ok with that, very crowded. But, waited almost a hour for our food after ordering, people were seated after we ordered, they finished their food, we had not received our yet, had to flag down our waitress, and ask her where is our food. She finally came back after another 10 minutes with the order. Was not happy, she did take care of te bill. But that didn't get back the time I wasted.

Food is good, you'll spend about $60 for a table of 4, casual dress and atmosphere. Their salads are truly the best thing I've had on the menu. Two times in a row, experienced ridiculously bad service and waits. The first time was completely dead and we waited so long I was walking my kids outside and saw people sitting out back during the ridiculously long wait. Food sat out ready that still no one brought while the server passed it to enter a huge tables order that came in during this wait. Second time was a huge wait to even get seated and unpleasant staff and unpleasant experience both times. This will be the last time we go until management changes.

They were extremely short handed the morning we were in - didnt see the manager on the floor to help his 2 servers until later when I counted 8 dirty tables that needed bussed. I had an egg shell in my omlette. Hubby ordered eggs over easy - and they were hard.We were just passing through - so I am glad to say we wont be back !

Moved away from Ashland a couple of years ago, but still visit frequently. Had not visited Perkins in awhile and this past weekend we decided to stop for a late breakfast on Sunday. So glad we did. The food was amazing!! Even with the crowd, the kitchen and wait staff kept up seemlessly. Prices are in line with most places for breakfast, but the portions and quality exceeds many others. Stop and visit for a meal while you are in Ashland at Grandpa's Cheesebarn or Fin Feather & Fur Outfitters, both of which are conveniently located on each side of the restaurant.
