What a great place to stop!!! It was our first time visiting Grandpa’s and we were not disappointed!!! See our load in the photos below! They will even let you sample any flavor of cheese before you buy. You can also sample any fudge in the Sweet store. So much good stuff to buy that it will be a regular stop whenever we go toward East coast. You can also buy a cooler bag with frozen pack included!

We came for the fresh local honey but we conquered the cheese! We arrived less than 30 minutes before closing but the staff was super friendly. The owner (or manager) saw us oohing over the cheese section and brought us over for tastings. Definitely a great place to visit! 👍

This hidden gem is Always a family favorite stop when traveling. They have the best selection of meats, cheeses, snacks, and candy. If you've never been here, be prepared to be blown away with the enormous selections. It's literally a barns worth of amazing delicatessen. If you need to make an enormously delicious charcuterie, then this would be the place to go.

Love this place! There are so many cheeses and sauces ect. I was really surprised that the prices were good. You can try just about anything. The candy shop is wild. Everyone here was so friendly and willing to help.

I've been an Ohio resident my entire life, and after 29 years, I FINALLY visited Grandpa's Cheese Barn. 🧀 This place is a staple in the midwest and now I personally know why. This place is massive and there are endless varieties of cheeses, jams, fudge, and gifts. 🎁 You can sample any of the cheese or fudge products, which was nice because there are some strange concoctions that we just had to try (aka, the apple pie cheese). 😆 We bought a handful of goodies from both the cheese barn and the candy store next door. This was a great pitstop on the way back to Columbus from Cleveland.

Cheese, Candy, Snacks, Ice Cream and much more. While not necessarily my cup of tea our group as a whole very much enjoyed it. Definitely a good place to walk around and enjoy an hour shopping and checking things out.

Such a fun stop. When we arrives I didn’t know the cheese was on the 2nd floor of the. Barn. I literally went up 2 steps up the stairs and was hit with a strong cheese smell. It was amazing. Tons of stuff to look through. Different flavors and variety. We had a really fun time checking out and sampling all the different snacks. Really looking forward to make some broccoli cheddar soup, with this red onion cheddar!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here, bought way too much lol. So much to choose from, the selections of cheeses and other snack foods are tremendous. Variety is amazingThen go to their sweet shoppe and again the selections of new and old fashion treats are never ending.A bit pricey but the quality is excellent. 18 yr old cheddar is $39.99 a pound, we bought a small block and it is awesome. The double dipped malt balls are great but too much wax in the chocolate for me personally. Homemade thick fudge is awesome.Looking forward to a trip back in a few months.

Stopped for the cheese, but only left with the sweets. I’ll definitely be back when the crowd may be smaller for time to explore the cheesebarn. Happy to have gotten some sweets and samples of the fudge!Cheers!

So many unique cheeses! The cheeses are upstairs, and you can sample as many as you like. Just ask one of the friendly staff behind the counter. My daughter tasted a 19 year old sharp cheddar. I ended up purchasing a smokey bacon ranch cheese, so good! The staff has stories to tell on different cheeses.There are 2 candy stores, but we were only focused on the cheeses.

Staff is very friendly and welcoming. They were happy to assist w testing a few things. They were able to pick out a few things similar to what I had in mind and helped me narrow it down to the right Sauce. Some of the prices were a little high but it's all home made so I can see it. Overall feel of property was very well maintained and comfortable w places to sit and enjoy a cone or some sunshine. Would recommend stopping by to check it out.

I've driven by this place a lot over the past 9 years and finally decided to stop in. Now I'll stop each time. 😊 This place is huge. The upstairs is filled with cheese of all flavors and different meats. Lots of snacks, tea,, ice cream and misc. downstairs along with a place to get lunch.Staff is so friendly and they offer samples. Even in the candy shop! The kids were excited and I didn't complain 😉. I was so busy looking I didn't get photos inside.

As with most folk driving up and down 71 you've seen the signs and wondered is worth the stop. The answer is yes. It's just cool place to stop and stretch your legs. They have a cafe where food is made and ice cream that is awesome. The staff is top notch and very attentive you can tell they enjoy working there. My only complaint is I wish they had a burger, beef, or chicken offering.

Loved it!! You may sample any cheese in the store, same with the candy part. Great tasty samples...was not let down...I could've been here for hours but I had to get moving. Got some goodies and I'm good now.

Both of these stores are jammed packed with so many goodies. It is hard to choose exactly what you want. It’s a great they let you sample so many different products. Specialty cheese I have never seen and tasted. Candies from my childhood and gourmet fudge that knocks your socks off. People are coming al over to visit these two stores. They do have a small restaurant to where you can get some sandwiches and ice cream There is a place to eat in the patio outside. Some cute activities for the kids outside too. The cheese barn had 2 levels but had handicap accessibility. I could have easily spent 10 time more money in there but I practice a little restraint. Will be back for sure.

I love grandpa's cheesebarn. I stop by whenever I have a chance. The cheese selection is awesome. The snacks and other goodies are excellent. The staff might be the best part. Attentive and helpful. They also will get you samples to try and make sure you enjoy the food and your experience.

I loved everything about these places, well, except the prices. The staff were all truly happy to be working there and engaging with customers. So many different options of cheeses, dips, snacks, chocolates and most things are available for samples. I hope to get back there when I have more time to explore. Highly recommend a visit there!

Great place for cheese lovers and foodies. They have cheese of course but also smoked meats relishes and great treats you won't find at your local grocery store. Great variety of different cheeses and you can get samples of all the different types. Make sure you go upstairs; that's where all the best cheeses and food items are. Next door they have a sweeties candy shop.

Grandpa's Cheesebarn is a GEM! There is SO much to try! It is very nice that you can sample just about everything before you buy. The staff is super friendly and the food that we purchased is very high quality. Nice little touch that you can buy an insulated bag and they provide an ice pack. Also, very nice little area between the cheesebarn and the candy store where you can sit and enjoy the things you purchased! LOVE this place!

Ever since Grandma and Grandpa passed away, the quality has gone downhill so badly. I have a container of dip that is unopened and two days away from the sell by date, not even the expiration date, and it is full of mold. Given how expensive everything is, I expect top quality. This used to be one of my favorite places to go. Sadly, that's no longer the case because I feel as though I'm being taken advantage of and cheated out of my money. Even the cheese molds quickly now. I am so disappointed. The only reason it's not one star is because of Grandma and Grandpa.

Amazing selection of cheeses, crackers, jams, meats, teas, ice cream, and chocolates. They have samples for all the cheeses! We bought garlic cheddar and aged gouda.

Wanted to share my experience from today's visit as a potential mishap that could have been a bummer turned into a memorable and appreciated experience! I live 2 hours away and it was my first trip there...i had gotten a jar of horseradish mustard along with my life savings in cheese...well somehow with all the hustle and bustle (it was super busy) my jar had gotten left on the counter...presumably because it was glass and fragile...well i didn't realize until i got home and was putting everything away...I called the store and spoke with the manager Parker who saved the day! He asked if I wanted a refund or to have it shipped which I didn't even think would be an option I thought I was SOL....I said sure I would even pay for shipping to which he refused and said it was taken care of, and would be shipped first thing Monday, and got my address...this is the type of customer service that is rare nowadays and they took the opportunity to go above and beyond for their customer, even though it was just a jar of mustard I will remember this type of customer service and so thanks to Parker my sandwiches will be saved 😆 Thank you Parker! 5 stars! Awesome place!

Stopped in today, Sunday. It was really busy. But the lines moved quickly! Love getting to sample different items before buying them! And trying things never heard of. Bought so much stuff! Then went to restaurant and tried something new, big hot dogs with fried bacon, yum!! Will be going back!!
