Illegal business practice - beware! I stopped in this store for the first time to look at a few things. I saw a bunch of wheelbarrows outside on the front walk area and a good sized sign inside the one with the full description of the wheelbarrow, size and yellow color. It was the exact one in every aspect and had a price of $82 dollars and some change. I went inside and the clerk said it was $40 more than that. I questioned it and we even went outside to get the sign. The clerk acknowledged it was their sign and it was in fact listed at that price on the sign. She said it should sell to me for that price but needed to check with the manager. She went and asked the manager and the manager said she would NOT honor the signed price and if I wanted it then it would need to be at $40 more. Soooo, I caution anyone going to this location that they are listing prices on signs to draw people in and then charging them more , which this store apparently does not understand is NOT LEGAL to do. I will not be visiting this location ever again and advise others to go to Home Depot just up the road on Rt 250 or Ashland Farm & Home HardwareUpdate - Monday June 19, 2023. This is an update in response to the owners reply of my review.While I am happy that the owner takes pride in the business as far as Google ratings go and gave a quick response to my review, I am still bothered by the fact that a retail location can knowingly have false prices listed on merchandise and then attempt to get the customer to pay a much higher price at the register. The owner indicates that the manager was not on duty and the person filling in had no idea they could override the pricing or make that change. I find it difficult to believe that a retail location, one that has the only job of selling merchandise, is not aware of how to override a price or make a change for something that is incorrect. I’m not sure if this is just passing the buck to someone else, or if in fact their people are not trained properly to modern standards in retail sales.While I appreciate the owner’s offer of a gift card or contacting the vice president of sales, I do not except any merchandise, discounts or reduced prices from locations that I give reviews for. The purpose of my review is to let others know what my experience was, and not to be a sellout. It has sadly become far more of a trend that retail locations are taking advantage of the customers and assuming the customers have no voice or will not do anything in retaliation or response to bad service or incorrect pricing. Social media is hopefully one way that little guys can make a difference. Hopefully proving the old Saying of “The Power of the Pen is Mightier Than the Sword!”For what things cost now, we expect better!

The store is awesome great supply of bird items...If in need of just about anything for your yard or your animals they have it here. The girls are great at work here very helpful I go there about once a week. Great prices

Megan was super helpful and friendly! My dog has an abundance of allergies and she went line by line on every dog food bag to help me find the best fit for his limited diet... The rewards program is amazing too! I'll definitely be back!

It would be very helpful to be able to see what you have in your store. Instead all you ever get when you try to see is a map and directions. Most people know where you are but would like to see if you carry specific items before making a useless trip.

Nice place, found by accident, needed two heated horse buckets, prices were about 10.00 above what could buy else where, owner offered 25 percent off, so we came home with 2 buckets.
