My boy Mack loves this place so much!! Their daycare has done WONDERS for his behavior since he’s been able to play with other dogs while I’m at work. Not to mention they provide goody bags and throw paw-ty’s! He loves his new toys! If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Don’t hesitate to give them a try!!

We were worried because this was the first time our 8 year old golden was professionally groomed. We were challenged with grooming him because of his aggressive behavior toward having his paws touched. But they did great. I loved that Macey sent me a picture of him getting a bath. He looked totally happy. This reassured us that things were going well. We will be back!

I always have a great experience at Barker Shop but today I needed some extra help getting my dog to and from the car and they provided that. I am so grateful! Not to mention my dog looked and smelled amazing when I got her home!

First time here. Came in for full bath and nail trim. Added on dental clean and check. Online scheduling, drop off and pick up notification all went smoothly. I appreciated the groomers notes on the statement. My dog looked and smelled great!

My golden visits the barker shop 2-3 per week for daycare and he LOVES it!! He gets groomed every 6 weeks and I have never had any issues! The entire staff at the barker shop are always friendly and helpful!

They did a good job trimming my dogs nails. However, they weren't really open to hearing about how they would behave or their past experiences. They also were not very easy to talk to at the front desk very standoffish.

This was our first visit at the barker shop and our sweet tuckers first hair cut. The girls were fantastic and we are beyond happy with not only the customer service but the environment and care they gave our fur babe. We will definitely be returning clients!

Absolutely loved it! My puppy came back a total different guy and he looks great. They did so much better than I was expecting!! Not that I thought they’d do bad, but I totally wasn’t expecting him to look as great as he does. He’s so soft and 10x more handsome than he was when we took him there.

Bentley was super happy and cuddled up to Shannon after only meeting her that day. His look was impeccable, and so clean and cute. He had so much energy when coming home. There was a dog under all that fur. He hates going but always happy when he’s done.

I am not satisfied and very upset. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. The groomer is terrible, which is the owner's daughter and she is inexperienced in grooming and lacks the courtesy to call or do as she is requested. I have a King Charles Cavalier and they managed to make him look terrible. I should have learned my lesson the first time, when they SHAVED his ears. This time around, they shaved his whole body AND EARS except the rest of his head and tail. His tail looks very bushy and his ears look terrible again after they were finally growing back. When they shaved his ears the first time, they ruined them. He is a ruby colored and his ears grew back a light blondish color. They shaved his ears again after specifically being told verbally and on the work order to NOT SHAVE HIS EARS!!!!!I don't know who is in charge, but they have a bad reputation of not resolving issues that clearly should be addressed with the groomers so it doesn't happen again. They use the same excuse. But when it says to NOT SHAVE HIS EARS AND THEY DID ANYWAYS, THAT IS BAD BUSINESS!!!!!!No one called and asked permission about his ears, which they claim he had a mat in it. This is when I specifically told them to NOT SHAVE HIS EARS because of the last time they did it and they went ahead without approval. THAT IS INEXCUSABLE!They lost my business and I don't know how they stay in business with the way they have consistently did a poor job with my dog and others.I don't usually complain, but this is to warn others.Do not recommend. Read the other bad reviews and make an educated decision before taking your pet there. I would travel out of town before bringing my pet to get groomed here. 0/10.

Always an enjoyable experience! Our dog has had some itching problems with allergies. Our groomer has worked so well with us, and now our dog is doing so much better. Our dog is always glad to see her groomer!

Romeo is usually very nervous around others but he was comfortable and happy with them. Very professional and the photo shoot they did was absolutely precious! Very affordable! He loved the frozen doggy yogurt !!

I always have a great experience! Carrie does a wonderful job with my Goldendoodle and my pup comes home happy and pretty!My only complaint is that it’s rare to call during business hours and have someone actually answer the phone and that is frustrating! But, it’s reassuring knowing that they are SO BUSY taking care of Ashland’s 4-legged babies. And they do get around to returning your call if you leave a message. I keep going back and I would recommend them to anyone!

In the response to your reply to Christine Hamilton, the dog would be under my name-kaylyn ziehm, and the dogs name is tucker. I did NOT get a call, or even a text for permission to shave his ears and if I DID get a call, I would have said no and that I could snip it out or brush them myself. It was one, single small mat, not multiple or not a big one. I understand you have to do what you have to do, but I am extremely disappointed that nobody called before making such a drastic change to my pet. The only call i received was to pick my dog up.
