Fascinatingly, in America giving a gift to a person's dog is considered an even greater act of generosity and thoughtfulness than giving a gift to the person. I find this so endearing!The super nice staff who run this store, and the great selection of toys of all sorts and sizes that they offer, make this an excellent place to find a fun gift. If you know a person who has a dog, or if you have a dog, you have to stop by and have a look around. I can pretty much guarantee you will find something amusing.If you have family abroad, be sure to take a picture and send it back home, because they are going to get an even bigger laugh out of this zany little slice of American canine subculture!

My dog Monty got a bath with the bather Milli here. He smelled absolutely amazing and was so fluffy when she was done! Would highly recommend her if your pooch needs a little pampering

I have shopped exclusively at the Mutts and co in upper Arlington since it opened. The staff are incredible. Not only personable but so helpful when I need information about products and problem solving for my animals. I will not go anywhere else not even for a small item. I am a loyal mutts customer for life. That’s how well they have handled me as a customer.I send everyone I care about to them without hesitation.I know that this excellent service is coming from the top down as the owners are also above and beyond in their care of the business.

My dog is an anxious mess in public environments. She (somehow) also sheds approximately 429x her body weight. This is a perfect compromise; I get to wash and blow dry her without causing her trauma. It’s super convenient and they have a great knowledge and variety of pet products.

Had an excellent visit at this location today. We usually frequent the Dublin store and spa, but came to the UA one due to availability. The service desk helpers were super helpful and friendly upon check-in and check-out. Reagan was a total gift and spoiled my Randy with his spa appointment. I mean, look at him. C’mon. 😍 Will totally come back to this location if I’m unable to get to my home store in the future!

This place was amazing. My puppy stunk so bad, I had to rush to this store on my way home from IL to bathe her. Customer service was AMAZING😊 Bellatrix wasn't happy with her bath, but she's happy now!

We highly recommend the Upper Arlington location and specifically McKenna for grooming! We love McKenna (our pup included) and she always does such a great job! Full service spa/cut can be expensive, however you get what you pay for. We continue to go back time and time again!

I’ve been going to Mutts & Co. every since my puppy was a baby. The manager Jane and associate Katie have treated her like one of their own from the start. She adores their selection of unique treats like turkey legs and cod skins. We always look forward to our visits and supporting a great local store!

This is terrible and racist place, I try to make an appointment for my dog full services grooming. I went to the store on new Albany location first, my appointment at 5:30 Pm, the store close at 7:00Pm, I have bring my dog to the store, they called me back and let me pick up my dog because they said they don’t have enough time to service my dog. I totally understand, they also recommended me to make appointment to another store because they don’t have any available time on July so I called this store to make appointment, then I got appointment on July, just 20 minutes later, This store’s employee called me back tell me they need cancelled my appointment because they said they feel uncomfortable for my dog, Excuses me!!! they never see my dog, just told me they want to cancel my appointment no any reasonable ground. My dog is a 7 month puppy, he just 14 pounds, All strangers like he when I bring him go out. He is friendly and nice to people. I can’t believe this store’s employee said they feel uncomfortable for my dog, you are guys are pet store and service for pet, you guys did this job and should love pet, not like this. I wondering How do you do this job well if you don't love pets? The woman on the phone was very rude. I don’t think such people are kind to pets! Do Not Going this place! So horrible!

Super friendly staff who helped me get everything I needed for my dog. Suggested some treats, good toys, and a better brush for him. 10/10 for staff. 10/10 for store cleanliness. 10/10 for selection of food, toys, and other. 8/10 for prices being a bit higher, but the products are natural so bug plus. Highly recommend this place for new or old pet owners!

The customer service here is non existent and the staff acted as if I was a huge bother when I asked for help.I've been a long time customer of Mutts & Co but after today's experience I will not be returning.I brought my dog in for a self-service dog wash and when it wasn't working I kindly asked for help from the staff.Instead of listening to my concerns and trying to problem solve, the ladies were zero help and said "it's worked for everyone else so I don't know what to tell you."I dried my dog off (no wash because the soap wasn't working) and they still charged me full price for a "wash" that didn't work.I tried explaining the issue and they dismissed all of my concerns and walked away.

I get my dog’s nails done here every other month and we love his groomer. I’ve also used the self service washing station and it is great. The store is clean and always has great treats. I love the occasional samples because we’ve been able to try several new treats before buying them. Definitely recommend.

I love Mutts & Co. in general, always have a great experience with friendly people and great products. But wanted to shout out Jane in particular! I know the stores aren't tech support, but I called in because I was having trouble placing a local delivery order and she helped me get my cat food delivered anyways. Just got my order! Thank you :)P.S. I think I've been having issues with this for a while now. Have placed deliveries before so not sure what changed

The staff are genuinely happy seeing pets visiting and seem knowledgeable about the products. I've asked for recommendations on pet food (talk to your vet also!), chew treats for my super aggressive chewer, and had my dog fitted for a harness here. You'll tend to see higher quality/reputable dog food brands and a larger selection of raw, frozen, freeze dried, and locally produced dog food/treats here than other pet stores. A lot of these brands have sample bags, so you can test them on your pet. For toys -I recognize the premium brands like Benebone and Kong, but am less familiar with their brands that make toys with special fabrics materials. Their products are geared towards cats and dogs, not fish or exotics. I'd say the human equivalent for this store is a Fresh Thyme Market or Lucky's Market?The website menu is hard to navigate, but yes, you can shop online. They have a rewards program that is based on total amount spent and another program based on number of pet food bags purchased. My dog really likes the groomer here, so we come in regularly for dog ice cream and a nail grind. They do not use kennels for grooming, so if is less stressful for your dog. You can make grooming reservations online or call a number to talk to a scheduler. This store is smaller than the Dublin or Polaris location - but the neighborhood is very walkable if you're on a outing with your dog. I prefer to steer my dog away from other dogs in public and the aisles are short enough for me to dodge around other dogs in the store.

After coming home I realized product I bought expired in January..The worst part of the visit was the fear mongering and incorrect information I was given about dog foods. as I was checking out the employee tried to persuade me to believe the food I feed my dog is unsafe (I didn’t ask his opinion). He even said the food I feed her (science diet) will lead to her having unexpected vet visits. Boutique dog stores like this are dangerous to the pet community. Thankfully I’m educated through research and support from a dog nutritionist. But if I weren’t, I might have fallen for his attempts to sell me a harmful food like Fromm that leads to DCM deaths in dogs. Bad experience, harmful misinformation, and I left with expired product :/

Stopped in to see their selection of toys. The owner(?) and the other woman behind the counter were extremely helpful with explaining some of the brands and what would work best for us. The shop was impeccably clean and well maintained. They have a great selection of items for both dogs and cats! A wonderful store!

As always, an incredible experience at a spectacular store. There isn't a mutts & Co in Columbus that you can walk into and not find exactly what you're looking for and then some. The well trained staff and the quality of their products is impeccable. They will help you find what you are looking for. all of the employees are well trained and if you have any questions , this is the place to go from what type of food you should feed, if you're looking for the most popular toy, if you have a heavy chewer what is the best product, they will steer you in the right direction no matter what you are looking for.There is a reason why they are voted the best pet store in Columbus!

Love it here! Have stopped in twice over the last week with my 8-month-old puppy and the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable! Mark and Allie (hope I’m spelling that correctly) have been so helpful with trying to find food options for a very picky eater! This is our new favorite store and we’ll definitely be coming back!!

I started going to Mutts and Co because it was the closest pet store to me at the time...I assumed it'd be overpriced because it's all "natural" dog food and it's in an upper middle class suburban area. I was pleasantly surprised to find that not only are their prices competitive, but they offer buy 3 get 1 free deals (sometimes but 2, get 1 free! ) and the loyalty program offers discounts. I've since moved about 20 miles away, but I still drive out there because they are the only store that carries my dog's food and Heather and Katie do an outstanding job grooming! All the employees are so great and obviously genuinely care about animals, it's refreshing. I highly recommend Mutts & Co New Albany! !!

Awesome store, first time visitor. Girlfriend and I walked in RIGHT at closing time which we were unaware. Store manager/owner and worker greeted and invited us in nonetheless. We spent 10 minutes or so shopping and chatting about various topics and other nonprofits including educational facilities about wolves and wolfdogs. Great store, friendly people, support them!
