Another person parking in front of my house going inside with no animal and leaving with no animal.So weird. Are people confused on realizing the business has parking in front of their company or yall trying to get your extra steps in.

Doc is great as is the whole staff! So very caring when we had to have our Bassett Hound put to sleep-they sent us the nicest sympathy card a few days later. We now have a little kitten that someone dumped at our house....took him to Doc & had him checked out. He was so nice & really enjoyed playing with the kitten the whole time he was examining him. We recommend this office wholeheartedly!!

By far the GREATEST vet that I have ever had in all my years as a pet owner (and I’ve had quite a few due to being a military brat)!! He was incredibly knowledgeable, caring, patient and absolutely HILARIOUS!! He could tell I was concerned due to Sully’s condition, but lightened the mood in the most appropriate of times. I went from crying on the way in- thinking it was time to put him down- to leaving relieved knowing Sully was under the best of care. Of course, he didn’t cough a single time due to his trachea collapse (the reason I was bringing him in), but Dr. Burr’s response was amazing! He said, “well I knew I was good, but not that good. I healed your dog before he even before he even stepped foot in my office. I didn’t even have to bring out the snakes! <looks at the tech> Still charge them for the snakes”. 😂😂 There is something about meeting someone who has truly found their passion; and he certainly has. This man will forever receive my recommendation and praise. ❤️ His staff is Incredibly pleasant, the prices are insanely fair and the best part- my dog is doing better. THANK YOU!

I recently switched to this practice and I'm very pleased with the care of my pets and the cost. The staff members are friendly and helpful and the Doctor is amazing with my dogs. They all took to the staff immediately, even my fractious pup. A+ all around.

Took our rabbit in this morning to get him neutered. Received a call two hours later and was told that he his heart stopped during the surgery and that he had passed away. We were in complete and total shock. We had taken him in a week prior for a checkup to make sure that he was healthy and he was given a thumbs up for the surgery. After the checkup the vet told us that he had very little experience with rabbits but they were "just like cats". My best advice is to not take your rabbits to this place. If you have a dog or a cat I'm sure they do a great job, but anything that is outside of the ordinary should probably be taken to a specialist.After the surgery I spoke to the doctor and asked him why he would even attempt a surgery with so little experience. He answered that he warned us he had little experience with rabbits, which he did. But he also reassured us that it wasn't anything to worry about, because the surgery is similar to a cats which is not at all true. Rabbits have to be put under anesthesia very carefully, and this is the biggest risk with a rabbit being neutered.We are heartbroken at the loss of our rabbit. Oliver was such a happy rabbit and we will miss him. I will not be taking any of my future pets to an establishment that is open to putting the lives of animals at risk. We feel like if the vet had felt uncomfortable at all with the surgery he could have given us a referral to a place that is comfortable with this procedure. And if he had, then the chances are we would be home taking care of Oliver today.

Dr. Burr and staff were amazing, helpful, and kind. I came from out of town to visit family, as soon as we pulled into my brothers driveway, opened the door to the car to get out, and my dog jumped out. Somhow lost her balance and did a summersault and landed bad. She was in much pain and wouldn't put any weight on her back leg. It was late in the evening. First thing Saturday morning I called around to several Vet's and none would fit her in. Thankfully, I tried Arcanum Veterinary Services, without hesitation they fit us in. Everyone was super nice and considerate. During the visit, we found that she had dislocated her hip and would need to attempt a closed reduction as soon as possible which would require my dog to be put under anesthesia. Dr. Burr's office was redy to close for the weekend. Dr. Burr called to the emergency clinic to see if they could help us, which they could but, would require another 1/2 trip and a 3 hour wait. Which I was willing to do. Also called back home to my Vet to see if we could set something up for the next day, no luck. With this said, Dr. Burr and his staff, decided to help us out and perform the surgery after he took care of his last patient. Everything went wonderfully! They even set us up with copies of everything done and a CD of the before and after x-rays for our vet back home to follow up. This office was so accommodating, kind, and considerate, and reasonably priced! We couldn't thank them enough, they were such a blessing! I wish we didn't live so far away. We would love if this were our Vet. We highly recommend this place!!

They have taken care of my cats for many, many years and I've been happy with the service and their rapport with the animals. People are friendly and they even send a sympathy card with personal messages from all the employees if your pet dies, which, of course, all pets eventually do.

Brought my 8 month old cat in to get spayed on November 15, 2017. She was a healthy, vibrant & extremely active kitty. A hour after I brought her in I got the call that she died from anemia, NO WAY! I told the vet on the phone I wanted to see her, he said that's fine. When I went to pick her up she was carried out in a trash bag, they didnt even have the decency to put her in a box. I strongly suggest that you do not bring your animal here. If I knew then what I know now my cat would still be alive. Don't risk it like I did. On top of everything thing else this is not a very clean office

I can't express how happy we are with this vet clinic. We were in from out of town visiting family in Greenville, and our cat started having some scary issues Sunday night. We called a few vets first thing Monday morning and this was the only vet that would take him right away! We are so grateful for that alone...Dr. Hayes and his staff were compassionate and professional. They were all great to work with even in the unfortunate circumstances. They made us feel welcome and as though our cat was in great hands. No matter where you live in Darke County, these guys are worth the drive. Highly recommended!

Needed to get my pup in for her shots and to discuss a treatment for her numerous allergies. Well day of apt i call to confirm and they somehow didn't put it in the schedule. Fine. I'll go Monday at 3. Well i just sat out in my car for 35 mins in the 85 degree sun with my stressed out dog overheating. They could've called and said they're behind. Theyd rather leave you out here cooking. So i went home. Then they call me at almost 340. My apt was at 3. Absurd.

I love this place !! They know what they are doing. I took my cat Capt Jack in they ran tests and were spot on. It took some antibiotics for a week and right back to normal. You can tell that the Vet and his staff REALLY CARE FOR THE PETS!!

Quality services. 4 stars vs 5 on account I was quoted a price in writing prior to the service yet was charged double that amount. No complications, everything went well. There was no acceptable reason for the increase in cost.

Make sure your pet is awake after getting neutered. Took cat home to find out he was dead. If your pet dies you won't get a refund.
