Terrible service! Went here twice and both times they have passed by the window with no acknowledgement or anything! Couldn’t even say “we’ll be with you in a minute”. Good is okay. We also wanted just a teeny bit for our baby, and they gave us a teeny bit, but charged us full price for a small!! Wish this place was actually decent for such a cute vintage look.

The Dooley burger was good, more than I could eat. Ice cream machine down-NO ICE CREAM today. No public restroom (s). Music was 1980's instead of classic 50's.

Great little place! Love the atmosphere and the friendly staff. Music is great also. Personally prefer the coney island sauce from here then other establishments who claim to make coney island dogs. My son loves the root beer floats. Best place to eat for something quick that will fill your belly around.

While passing through Antwerp I found this unique drive in style classic coney dog joint. The Root beer stand has indeed a unique shine to it and it's functional as in they take your order from your car through the speakers. And then the food is brought out to you with a nice glass of frothy root beer if that's your gig. I chose to eat on the run but watched as people ordered and I took a few moments to order and look over the menu. Being my first time I ordered a few things for myself to try the cheese curds and some coney dogs and of course chili cheese fries and a jug of house made rootbeer from what I think I understand..the dogs were very good. The chili isn't my favorite but it was nice and comforting like chewing for simpler times..lol the cheese curds rocked and the chili cheese fries were very good too. What did it for me was the nice friendly service and some pretty darn good rootbeer even if it was house made! It's worth a try and worth the experience!

Was here on 6/3/22, food for the most part was great and out quickly. The one complaint I have is the hot dog buns were stale. It was like eating a coney in between croutons. Not sure if you have a bun steamer, but might invest in one or get some better quality product.

The food is alright but prices have really gone up. Four hotdogs, two orders of mushrooms, and two large pops was nearly $28. It is for sale and unfortunately seems like ownership isn't too worried about it anymore. The park area is weedy and other parts of the facility just need some TLC. Too bad, I have been coming here to eat since I was a little kid.

Went on may 27th n got dinner for my family. I watched the young lady take my order to another vehicle which they touched. I asked her whn she brought my order out quickly if they re-made my order due to the other vehicle touching our food n her response twice was they re-bagged it. I dropped 35.00 plus my order should have been re-made. I don't know if I recommended this place or not!!! They need to watch what they are doing slow down, they wasn't even busy whn I was there. 3 cars total

Mu husband and I had the coneys, root beer and onion rings. I like my rings extra crispy. Meal was delicious. Also had some comfortable bar like stools. Just a really great experience.

Drove 15 miles to try (+1 of few that was actually open…) & overall was a great experience & great food/customer service! Will come back! +Love their old school, Honemade RootBeer! My only complaint is pricing +size proportions.. Moving from central FL (aka Beach/Disney $$$) I’m accustomed to having large inflation costs, ect—-Now comparing to NW OH, I felt the portions should’ve been like -+1/3 for the price..)

Our order came out quickly but wrong in two ways. Ordered two root beers but got one and a milk shake. Ordered a hot dog with ketchup, mustard and onions. Only got ketchup. The car hop exchanged the milk shake for the root beer and the hot dog with apologies. The hot dog was replaced with a coney dog. Rather than reorder I ate it. When she picked up the tray my wife pointed out the cost difference between a shake and a root beer. The nice girl made it right with a refund of the cost difference plus not charging for one root beer. The food was good but a little more care watching the preparing the orders is needed.

The new owners are great. They added fun new items to the menu and lowered some of the prices. Carhops bring your food to your car window. Who doesn't love a coney dog with onions and cheese? Try "The Dooley" you won't be disappointed. It's a bacon cheeseburger between 2 grilled cheese sandwiches. And Chuck Norris would add an extra hamburger patty. You can get a bacon wrapped hot dog. Chili cheese fries, fried cheese curds, and root beer floats. Everything here is delicious.

Great place. Good food. Decent prices. Love the fact that they still bring the food out to ur vehicle and hang tray from ur window. Just like a sit in restaurant only inside ur vehicle. Love it

Always love making the trip over from New Haven but coneys were skimpy and only 5 o-rings for $4. What a gip. Miss the old sloppy Spanish dogs we're used to. Won't be making the trip again any time soon. What a shame.

4 of us rode bicycles from Fort Wayne to Antwerp, Ohio. When we arrived in Antwerp, we stopped at the Root Beer Stand. We enjoyed reading the menu and talking to the kids who worked there. They were fun and they quickly and expertly prepared the best root beer floats. We sat on the bar stools and rested our tired legs and feet on the foot rail and ate our floats. . And, the music was from the 70s. Which made us mature people feel immature again. Well worth the visit.

The fish was very thin and plain,fries were hard, the"famous frosty mug" was NOT even cold. The root beer float was just a disappointment.The car hop was a nice young lady,but We will never return.

This place is the very best for your chili dog needs! Matt and Stacy has made this great franchise great again! If your driving through little Antwerp Ohio then it's a must to stop here for your meal!

We love this place and visit anytime we go between our house in Indiana and Lake Erie. Been coming here since before the new Route 24. If you're in the area it's worth a stop. I will note that it doesn't have a bathroom, but the gas station (the Marathon) down the road actually has a really nice one. Nice area to sit outside and eat.

We enjoyed the root beer floats, hot dogs, and corn dogs, and most of all the outdoor seating area. Service was somewhat surprisingly slow, considering we had an uncomplicated order.

The root beer stand was one of the original A&W Root Beer stands back in the late 60's . The name has changed but the root beer, atmosphere etc still pretty much the same. Still can have car hops come to your car, enjoy a seat in an outdoor soda fountain setting. Or walk to a picnic table in there park like setting. Brings back great memories of those gone years.

ONE of the worst Chile dogs I have ate.ROOT BEER the best I have ever tasted. I will be back for more rootbeer. Just sad about the squashed normal casing hot dog and not so good tasting Chile.

The service is always great, and you have to try the butterfinger flurry. Tuesday is coney dog day. Definitely worth the time to go there . The eating area is always clean and organized for the kids

Prices are a little high, 2 bucks + a coney except on Teusdays. Coney sauce is good, but it used to be better, it's like everyone elses now. Employees are very friendly.
