We visited Matt's Corals twice in one day.Clean store, tanks, healthy fish and coral. A good selection of unique high end corals. Great prices. Knowledgeable and even sent us to to some other stores to check out. We still ended up back here for a second time because they had better quality and prices. Overall good people.

This place was really cool, nice clean, very stocked, decent selection of fish and corals they also have a very nice collection of tank and stand setups for decent value, only complaint was we werent engaged with much at all, only one gentleman asked us if we were finding everything okay. This is not a complaint by any means, it was an off day and I really was impressed with the layout, cleanliness, and care the fish and corals were recieving from my perspective, I bought a few corals and called it a day there. Everything acclimated well and is doing nicely in my reef tank.

Best fish shop in Columbus. Clean, well taken care of fish and inverts. Corals are beautiful, colorful, and healthy. Workers are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful!

Nice little shop tucked away in a tiny suite on Lincoln Circle. I was delighted to see a very comprehensive selection of everything one might need for reef keeping, including cured wet live rock and RODI systems. I thought prices were very fair, even for a brick and mortar shop in the middle of Gahanna. Helpful and friendly employees, eager to provide advice if asked. It's a long drive from my house in Mount Vernon, but I will gladly make the trip again. The 2 fish that I bought acclimated well and are healthy and thriving, already eating!

My son and I stopped in recently for the first time and bought a couple clown fish. I thought the staff was friendly and they had a great selection of coral - looking forward to getting some soon! The store itself was a bit cramped, but the tanks were clean, the fish looked happy and healthy, and their prices were reasonable. We will definitely be going back!

This is a very nice place. It's nice and clean and the staff is really kind. I got some clean up crew and a clownfish. I do have to pick on the fact that a copperband butterfly fish had white spot and was housed with a ton of clownfish. Also there was a few dead fish. But to be honest I loved my visit there and will be coming back.Edit:I got another clownfish and he was super healthy. Like last time staff was extremely kind and informative. This is most possibly the best saltwater aquarium shop there is.

Every time we go in Matt's Corals there's a wonderful employee named Seth that takes great care of us! The place is always clean and well lit. The frags are good quality for the price!! (And priced way better than other places in the area!) 😉

Madison and the guys "I'm sorry I haven't gotten their names yet " are always so helpful and patient with all my questions. They have the best selection of higher end aquarium products that normally i would have to purchase online. The livestock they offer is top-notch as well and great prices. I will continue to try to get as much as possible from Matt's because I feel it's a critical resource for the hobby to have a great local business that succeeds.

Pretty awesome lfs. I picked up a couple frags for Black Friday and got a copperband butterfly. The frags look great and the copperband is fat and already eating frozen! This is my new go to store!

Nice clean store with beautiful livestock! Tanks had corals I haven't seen offered lately. I bought the most gorgeous Male African Midas Blenny that's healthy and already eating. Prices were about the same elsewhere so within the normal hobby pricing. Will be going back when I'm in the Columbus Ohio area again.

Small businesses owner. Pleasant atmosphere. The employees are super helpful and can answer almost any question you might have. He has tons of frags, a nice variety of fish, pre-treated salt water to sell (so bring your buckets), and supplies. He very often has more rare coal fragments, clams and fish.

Went by this past weekend. Wonderful shop. Wish I lived closer. They had a great selection of corals that were well taken care of and at great prices. Not too many fish on hand, but the ones that were there were in good shape. Very clean, well run store. Once my tank matures, I'll definitely be going back for some corals... especially the rock nems and bubble tips.

They have always been so willing to answer all my questions when I started out in the hobby and as I progressed, regardless of whether I bought anything or not. That being said, please visit the shop, the corals they have are GORGEOUS. They are worth a pretty penny, but you're definitely paying for quality pieces; no other storefront in the area comes close to it.

This is an awesome shop. I drive all the way from Cleveland down to here to get my coral. He has awesome quality livestock, with lots of colonies and frags at great prices. I am pretty picky about where I buy my corals, and this is one of few places I will buy livestock from. Matt is also a great guy that knows a vast amount of knowledge about the hobby as well.

Amazing coral selection! Store is super clean and set up very nice! The only down side is there are several sick and or dying fish in the sales tanks. Nature of the beast when selling fish and inverts directly from the supplier without a qt process first. Try to select a healthy animal and definitely quarantine it before introducing it into your tank at home.

Small shop with really engaged people working there. Not like other places (aquarium adventure) where you have to wait and wait just to get some help. I found the prices on their fish and corals to be fair with monthly sales also if you're looking for something expensive. While the footprint of the store is small, I found that they utilized the space really well. They spent extra time on the aesthetics of the store by going as far as putting up trim moulding to make it look clean and sharp. Very impressed.

They helped me do a no contact order of livestock. Got my live rock from here for a fair price and the staff has been very helpful getting me started in my first saltwater aquarium.Edit: I started my saltwater aquarium using solely the RO saltwater from Matt's. I was fighting Algae my entire first year. After buying an RODI system all my algae problems have gone away. I really do like this store and the employees but the water that is sold to customers needs to be maintained better. I once walked in the store and asked them to test their water for me. I was told I would need to wait 10 minutes while they "refreshed" it before testing. This was the only time I was ever told they needed me to wait before getting saltwater. This didn't happen the 25 other times I went in to buy 15 gallons of water.

This is a nice shop, and the guy that was working was super cool. They have a lot of nice big acro colonies, but they were a little on the pricey side. Also, when a single coral cost $300 they should know the name of it. Names do matter when it comes to resale value down the road.

I went into Matt's store a year ago with no knowledge of fish and had a reef tank going that same day. Matt made it easy to enjoy the ocean in my home and has answered all my questions. Its like living art and I love my fish like pets. Great store with great fish and coral!

Amazing fish store with a good selection and a great knowledgeable staff! The fish are reasonably priced! The I got arthon puffer was huge! And in a great condition! Eating very well and wasn’t acting weird at all as soon as I introduced him to his new tank!
