Their smiles and kindness will help you cook with love. You're not going to find that at any Walmart around here...

Very well stocked for a small town grocery. Perfect for people camping at Pymentung. My only gripe is they did not have electric carts as the website says, which only affects a small number of people.

I camp near here north of Jamestown PA 6 months out of the year. Their bakery has some of the best donuts ive ever had in my life i reccomend the glazed cronuts very very highly!! Their hot deli is fantastic from fried chicken to jojos and an amazing cold deli with lots of cold salads and cold cuts!! There arent alot of options around here but this grocery store is great and has a liquor store, beer and wine selection is abundant as well!!

Always busy due to campers and lake! Make sure u give time! Great hot food also good meat selection! My only complaint is it's only liquor store and they have banker hours which is not good when it's a tourist area for boats swimming lakes and campgrounds all around. The people are very nice tho I will say

Overpriced, Most locals know that you can save money by driving 30 minutes to Ashtabula. I can get almost twice the amount of groceries for the same money by shopping at Wal-Mart or Aldis.

The store is clean and pleasant but the prices are outrageous! I only shop here if something is on sale. I don't know what happened to the price of the 24 pack of water. It was always affordable but not anymore. They don't accept coupons anymore which is inconvenient for me. But the weekly sales are usually decent.

We are visiting our friends camp... we needed to pick up few items. So we stopped at Sparkle grocery first impression old building, dirty outside. Then walking dirty employee girls all chatting together at registers no greetings.The produce was terrible cherries were rotten even few moldy in bags. Bananas were super green but already getting brown marks on them. The bakery was sad... the peanut butter cookies were so dark tan almost burnt them but sure put them out... then 1 box oatmeal raisin with pecans..yuck no nuts please. Then go to cinnamon breakfast items pecans pecans pecans..!! Very over priced store. I get it though it's seasonal tourists time of year but we will buy less items thenIf there is a "special" people pick up all kinds of extras just because they are "getting a deal" and love a good special! The redeeming difference of 1 star versus 2 was a very nice young man who overheard my autistic son say he needed to use restroom ... he was very kind to my son and told him he could certainly use the employee restroom. Now that is a wonderful employee and son that talked to my son and helped him! Most young adults and teens do not approach nor even acknowledge my 20yr old autistic son ...who by the way is brilliant and versed in many subjects do to his part of autism but the asperger's part has social skills frozen. He doesn't have the gumption or courage of being accepted. Also for his use of language to approach to ask for help especially to his peers! But this employee was wonderful he walked and talked with my son which made him feel encouraged.As one of our friends always tells him autism is a super power! This store certainly has a super employee that has set a very wonderful example for others there!

Just bought 2 bottles of wine.i usually don't do grocery shopping here..some items are too expensive. The store has plenty of cashiers open during slow times and busy times. All the cashiers are helpful and pleasant

Romano family Sparkle Market is probably the single largest employer of young people in our community. They also operate a clean store with extraordinary selection of products for size of our town. Excellent bakery and deli !

Family owned market that has been in this town for a long time. They usually hire all locally and in the summer time they give alot of the school kids jobs which is good for them. Prices are a little high but if you only need a few things its a great store.

Rudest cashiers and baggers ever!For a small-town grocery store, the young girls don't even make eye contact let alone greet customers - more interested in the conversations they are having with each other.They have not been taught proper bagging techniques either, putting ripe bananas in with hard plastic water bottles, double-bagging for weight yet defeating the reason by tying the inner bag handles in a knot thus still only have single bag/handles to carry??!Seriously, they are the only place in town - but we prefer driving 30 minutes to ANYwhere else when we can.

The prices are higher than if you went to a convenience store. $4.00 for a head of lettuce. $5.00 for a dozen eggs. In the winter it is just the locals shopping there and sparkles should appreciate their business and not take advantage.

Good community grocery store. Selection of produce was very fresh. Wine and liquor store included. Very good deli with fresh daily items for lunch or quick snack. Very clean, and quite ample parking. Easy in and out unlike the big grocery stores. Pricing in line with bigger stores without the hassle.

Wish there was another local grocery store to shop at. It's bad enough how prices have gone up but this store has moldy bagels on their shelves and you litteraly have to check expirations dates on almost all dairy products. Bought frozen shrimp and they were freezer burnt. Store manager says it's because they Don't have enough help.That is not an excuse.

Store was immaculate and well organized. However getting waited on at the deli was difficult. Had 5 people there and had to ask to be waited on. All attention to hot food and cold deli was ignored. Lots of check out lanes open and available.

Great family owned small town grocery store...the weekly sales ad starts on Thursdays..some pretty good bargains. Many local older people depend upon this store since it's 30 miles from anywhere...it also gives the local teens a chance to get a job and earn a few bucks

It is over priced in the summer for sure, but in October prices go back down and the sales become Great Again. The store has Great meat and the deli is great. The biggest draw back of the store I find is that the people that work there are not nice and Definitely are not friendly. The store is clean and the meats are good. They could improve the attitudes of their employees to be Friendly and Nice to the customers for sure and Not price gouge in the summer I would give them 5 Stars.
