I will NEVER take my bird here to be groomed ever again!!I have a 1 year old Indian Ringneck.I tried this place for the first time back at the end of March... I was leaving for a trip in April, and wanted my birds nails trimmed, and wings clipped....I was leaving her with family, and I didn't want to risk her being able to take off.There was a HUGE issue with one of my birds nails, but I didn't fault the lady, she was very apologetic, and gave her good care after the fact. HOWEVER, While my family had my bird she flew across the street into their neighbors yard! (I just learned of this the other day after I told my family THIS story)...👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼Just the other day I had my bird outside with me, as I've done A LOT since she was little, with wings clipped....THE RIGHT WAY.... Well my bird took off!!! And I don't mean a short distance, not a flutter, or a hover.....I mean FULL FLIGHT, INTO THE SKY, GONE!Thank GOD I was able to find her, and bring her home ... Clearly this place has NO idea how to properly clip wings, and I almost lost my baby due to it.From now on I'll either take her to the vet, or the place where I got her.You have been warned.

The Bird Loft is AWESOME! I'm a first-time owner of two lovebirds, Judy and Rudy, and Elaine & Company are simply amazing. It is a half hour away from me, but it is well-worth the drive every time. Thank you to the entire staff!

What a wonderful place to purchase all things bird related. Very knowledgeable, attentive staff, and quality hand-raised birds of many species. We purchased our parakeet there. He's well socialized and healthy. Prices are reasonable too.

Changing my review from 5 to 1.They will board your birds at a decent cost, food is included.The problem I have is when I'm giving you my babies to watch for the week, you write down grooming instructions, but you don't follow them.Yes, wings can grow back, but now that you've put my bird through all this trama when they are free flighted, this endangers them, especially with my curious dog... who I don't want hurt or to hurt them.Please do yourself a favor and do the research before you board any animal. We have been here a few times, they really are into the repeat customers that shop there.I want my babies taken care each time I go away and such, instead of having to worry if something will just be done because they can't read hand writing or such.Off to a new boarding adventures for my babies.

My daughter and I have purchased three birds from here.They have all been in good health and well cared for.The staff does an excellent job in cutting nails. They are always willing to help and give advice to make our feather babies happier.I would definitely recommend this place.The sun conure's name is Rocky and the macaw's name is Roan.I have a canary named Jubilee.

The staff and shop are awesome! Everyone was super nice, helpful and knowledgeable. They took their time to educate us on how to care the the bird we were purchasing.Our new bird, which they had raised, is gorgeous, sweet and healthy.What a great experience!! We highly recommend!!

After finding and reading reviews about The Bird Loft, we decided to visit a few weeks ago. We knew right away this was THE place to find our newest addition! They breed and handle their birds. You know you're going to get a well raised and very well taken care of sweetie! We were added to the list of a Conure and Cockatiel. We just recieved a call that our sweet green cheek was hatched and was ready for us to meet. What a cuddle bug! We can't wait until she is weaned and ready to come home with us! Elaine and Lisa are very hands on and happy to answer any questions. The Bird Loft is a hidden gem. Not only do they have a variety of birds, the food, cages, and toys are plentiful! I will never go anywhere else but here. I want to thank all of those who told me about this place!

I had a really good first experience here! I finally made the trip from NW Ohio and was not disappointed. I was able to hold and interact with a lovebird and I did not feel pressured at all to purchase, showing that they truly care anout their birds. I bought tons of cool toys for my cockatiels. Prices are great!

The bird loft is a wonderful place! Eileen is so friendly and takes her time to answer any questions you have. She takes excellent care of all the birds there. I brought my baby cockatiel home today. Shes such a beautiful, healthy bird. I love her so much!

These ladies are so nice!! We rescued a bird but we could not keep him. I called and spoke to the owner to see if they took in birds and the owner was all for it. When we got there we were greeted with smiles! This place is beautiful and filled with beautiful birds. You can tell the ladies that work there really love the birds and take great care of them. I’m so glad I called this place to take in max. I know he will be taken care of the right way there. Thank you for all your help!

This place use to be my favorite. They had tons of items. They took wonderful care of my two conures the multiple times a year we board them.That was until this last time. Clearly money and expanding is more important to them as they are no longer offering the same level of service.We never clip are green cheeks wings due to her past we just have her nails done. We came back from vacation and picked them up and they had clipped her wings. The only thing they could say was sorry like that changes the mistake they made and the trauma they caused my green cheek. They didn't offer anything off or even try to seem like they cared.I will never take my birds back to this place. They lost all trust I had in them.If I can't trust you to follow simple directions that was written on their paperwork how can I trust that you are actually taking care of my birds.

Number one !!! You need to come here!! I just bought this love bird and she never bite me the entire time of me snatching her when she flys away she’s so friendly and you can tell they took there time raising her she become my best friend instantly not to mention the prices are great I went to Pickle the parrot and paid double but this place has the best prices best people and friendly birds! Hands down the best 150 dollars I spent in my life !! thank you ❤️❤️

We went there looking for a bird to add to our family. My son loves animals and birds. It was his first time seeing lots of them and was exited and the first words that we heard from the lady on charge was telling our son to not talk loud when he was just excited. She also questioned what we were looking for. Her mood to us as clients wasnt the best. It wasn’t for sure a good experience.

I bought a love bird about a month ago, the lady clipped its wings and nails for me. I really love that little bird. He is healthy, funny and sings all the time. He even has me trained to get up with him in the morning! I was impressed with the store and the very nice lady who helped me!

I called asking about availability on a certain breed of bird, she then answered my question and when I said ok thank you, she just hung up!! No “you’re welcome have a great day” or ANYTHING! Not to mention, I WAS NOT DONE SPEAKING considering the fact I would be driving 1.5 hr to their shop to PURCHASE a fid! Very unprofessional and rude. I now will not be considering their shop. No thank you.

Love this place! My yellow naped Amazon came from here and I always bring him back to have his nails done. The ladies working here are super friendly and very helpful whenever you have questions! Great selection of toys and treats and I love to come back and see the babies!

We brought home a blue Quaker parrot the beginning of June. We are having so much fun with him! We bought a bird hotel off Wayfair and he travels with us often. He began talking at around 3 months of age and his vocabulary seems to grow daily. We keep him well socialized and make sure to interact with him daily. The employee there the day we picked him up was extremely helpful. Also, we traveled quite a distance to get him, and the Bird Loft employees were great about sending us weekly pics and video updates so we could watch him grow until it was time to bring him home.

So far I really like this place. I bought food for our African Grey. She was a piggy when I gave it to her. Although she decided to toss out a couple things in it that she didn't feel belonged. I am looking forward to bringing her in for grooming. We shall see what she thinks.

bought a Love bird for my 10 year old, her best friend , then the bird got sick, after a number of trips to vet, with week long stays, and a lot of money(not that it mattered if it would help) only to find out she has a blood/cancer disease from OVER BREEDING!!! Thanks.. my daughter now age 14 is heart broken.
