You might wanna check Facebook your location manager being rude to child and parent..... I will NOT be shopping at Drug Mart in Amherst ever again. There was a young couple with two young boys, one with down syndrome, who was only five years old. The manager was having a conversation with one employee one isle over loud enough for them to hear, and another employee was in the aisle with them, ridiculing the parents, because the young boy was picking things up and throwing them down. I give credit to the mom who kept her composure and did nothing but pick up after him. Now these employees were not young kids who may not have known better yet were adults that ridiculed them. You should be ashamed of yourself the way you treated that family. I will not shop in an establishment that treats their customers that way.

This Amherst location is My favorite in the area. Excellent Manager and Staff. The place is always clean and nicely stocked. Stop in when You are in the area. They also sell My Deli Chicken Paprikash which is Outstanding. I highly recommend.

New to Lorain and just had the best experience at Drug Mart. Employees willing to help out with a smile and pleasant chat. Will make this my regular pharmacy.

Manager was extremely condescending. Me and a few friends decided to stop by a while ago and while we were there we, quickly, said hello to a worker who was stocking shelves that we happened to know. Manager came out of nowhere, spoke to us extremely rudely about how we were interrupting the employee we greeted, even though we took less than thirty seconds to say a quick hello. Manager followed me and said friends around the store for a few minutes, making us extremely uncomfortable. This encounter was extremely triggering for me and one of my friends, and I normally would not say anything at all, however it’s completely unacceptable the way we were treated and it had taken me a lot of courage to share this. I no longer feel comfortable at this store, especially after reading all the other negative reviews and seeing that nothing has changed.

Pharmacy can be hit or miss. Drive through has been closed at certain times which causes really long lines inside.

I ordered the refill for my prescription at 3:30 this morning using their website. The site said my prescription would be ready in 4 hours after opening.It is now 3:50 p.m. and it still isn't ready.Getting tired of the constant nonsense with this place.I receive a text telling me that my prescription is ready. Unfortunately, the line is more than twice as long as it was when I spent 20 minutes waiting in it the first time. Last thing I want to do is spend twice as long waiting (they only had one gal taking care of customers) so I left without the prescription.Came home and called to see if they could mail it.... they "don't do that". I guess I won't be returning. My money spends elsewhere.

Worst management team ever. The general manager Mark is nothing but a bully to his employees. If you are even thinking about working here, I would suggest you not to because the pay is nowhere near what they should have you doing and how they treat you. Save yourself time. Mark is the worst manager anyone could possibly come across in their lifetime both as a customer and as a worker. He’s just a mean old guy who takes advantage of his authority. He will yell at you for absolute no reason in front of your coworkers and customers without even warning you in private. I don’t know who thought it was a good idea to make him a manager, but this guy should definitely not be in charge of a whole store. They are horrible with schedules and they had me open close open close every day. When I told Mark I didn’t like my schedule he yelled and said that I should be grateful that he gave me a job in front of everybody else. If you are going to treat your workers like they are disposable, so will they. Please don’t waste your time and apply anywhere else.

I was in the other day & the nicest lady Barb.J that was on her name tag helped me find what I needed for my posion ivy!! I never seem to see that kind of one on one service anymore nor someone care about a customer that way!! I hope Drugmart knows what a gem they have in her!!!

Web sit shows two Omron 5 blood pressure cuff. As usual they had none. No 5,7 or 10 bait and switch. I was a daily with large family. First time back in 10 years and same way when I got feed up last time.Amazon to the rescue.

Pharmacy is absolutely atrocious. They are very nasty and refused to take my new insurance info and continued trying to run my old insurance. Rather than taking my new insurance card they were going off the system and told me I was wrong. Called my doctor and my insurance company and both the pharmacist and associate I talked to were confirmed to be wrong. This is now causing me to be without my medication. Additionally, they said they were going to send a form to my doctor to approve (because they were using the wrong insurance) and just never sent the form. So they were embarrassingly incorrect and just bad at their jobs.

The pharmacy at this store is awful. I had a conversation with Chis the pharmacy Manager about shorting me on my pain medication and basically called me a liar. I have always counted my pain medication pills. This store is always slow. I have made several car rides to get my sync meds before they are completed when they text me and say my. Scripts are ready. I have dealt with them for years and to basically call me a bold face liar, UPSETS ME TO NO END. The store itself is so courteous to all. I have spent thousands of dollars at this store. Mark and Michelle are very good at their jobs. Mark is the Manager of store and Michelle in the pharmacy has always been helpful and courteous. Thank for letting me vent.

One of the worst pharmacies in the area. Plan on waiting in line well over 30 minutes every time you pickup a script. They are also regularly out of stock of common medicines and scripts aren’t ready in a timely manner. My doctor called in an order at 3pm, I went at 6:45 and by the time I got to the pick-up window at 7:10 they told me my script wasn’t ready and I had to wait until 7:30 for my script. Then they tried to charge me even though I have dual insurance, one of which is Medicaid public insurance so I HAVE NO COPAYS. Period! Then it took 2 of them to figure that out. So I was in line a total of almost an hour with frozen food in the back of my car. I have had this issue with this Drug Mart before and it’s because their workers have absolutely zero clue what they’re doing. High incompetency. I saw dozens of cars get in line and then leave, and another steaming mad woman behind who also waited well near an hour in line. Go somewhere else, I’m going to Walgreens.

If I could give a negative star for this place I would since that's how negatively I was treated. The manager Mike and his assistant along with Kathy the Corp. Biller had absolutely no knowledge of how to process a county voucher and refused service. Supposedly Kathy has been doing this for 35 years but could not comprehend the simplicity of a 3 month quarter and demanded the voucher be used at a specific time. I have been using vouchers for my severely handicapped child for 19 years at various Drug Marts, including this one, and never have I experienced such lack of regard to a customer's needs, especially during this crucial pandemic time. I am my son's primary caregiver so go out as little as possible to reduce the number of germs I am subjected to, especially in a medical environment such as a pharmacy. Their poor education and lack of expertise forces me to take extra unnecessary measures to fulfill my son's medical needs. I am absolutely disgusted with their unprofessional behavior and blatant rudeness. I will be filing a complaint with the corporate office as well as the County Board. NO ONE should ever have to experience what I just experienced!!!

The pharmacists and their staff at the Amherst store have been fantastic and have saved my bacon on numerous occasions. Unfortunately, My wife and I must take some unusual meds and with our traveling schedules it is often difficult to coordinate between us and the insurance company. We no longer worry. These folks understand and do everything possible to ensure that Neither of us are without our meds. I can’t thank them enough for going the extra mile again and again.

I went into drug mart yesterday and the GM mark went above and beyond for me , he helped me grab items from the top shelf and carried them to the register !!! Mark was so kind and made me feel wonderful i definitely will be back! Clean store and wonderful staff:)

Nothing but problems since I had to transfer my prescriptions to Drug Mart. Not very nice people handling the pharmacy phone calls either. Pharmacy part of website is not very easy to use either. I will give them another month or two, but if it doesn't improve, I'll have to go somewhere else and hope they can transfer scripts without a big disaster.

If the people in this pharmacy moved any slower, they would be going backwards. I have been to this drive thru a few times. I stopped going to Walgreens because they don't know how to count pills. At Drugmart you'll die before you get your medication. I am praying Meijers will have a pharmacy.

They are so slow in the pharmacy. Then they get medication mixed up. My husband picked up a prescription that gives him allergic reaction. He just found out that he’s allergic to it and it was not reported yet by the doctor. So in stead of taking it back unopened they won’t except it back. So he’s out almost 50 dollars. I will NEVER shop there again for my medicine!!!!!!

Never and I mean EVER rent movies from these people.... absolutely worst experience they will rip you a new one on a late fee... 12 dollars for a 3 day late fee like common are you serious.. I COULD HAVE RENTED 12 MORE MOVIES!!! I understand its my fault but since its a holiday its more.. like 4th of July are you serious?? Then says on the brite side u get a free movie for your birthday gee thanks.. just despicable.. I will NEVER spend another penny at any DRUGMART WORLD WIDE. I wish there was a 0 star rating because congratulations uve EARNED it!!!!!!

Pharmacist is very rude everytime he needs to talk to me. My prescriptions are never on time. Always have to come up there twice to pick them up. I dont recommend this place. Transferring all my meds somewhere else.

I arrived at the pharmacy drive thru at 9:30pm today to pick up refills that weren't ready when I tried to pick them up 2 days ago and they were closed. Website says they're open until 10pm.

I tried to drop off my prescription at the drive thru I am on crutches just had surgery 4 days ago or I would of walked in either way shouldn't be a issue but after 25 min in line with one car in front of me to watch cars to the right of me being helped that were there after me then being ignored once I made it up there.they really need to fix this I use the one in Sheffield and never have a problem..
