I went to shop here a while ago and I was looking into buying another mini hamster. In the past I’ve bought two mini hamsters from this store and they’ve been very healthy and lived out their lifespan. On this visit I wanted to get another good look at the mini hamsters in the cages but all an employee did was move the bedding around so that I could see the hamsters but they didn’t bring the cages out and place them on the floor where I could interact with the hamsters. I was disappointed. I spoke to a young employee and tried to get her to let me get a better look at the mini hamsters but she didn’t let me. As I was leaving the store I got a very dirty look from the manager and I don’t know what that was all about but I’ll never shop at this store again. Some of you might think this is just a minor complaint and what’s the big deal. The big deal to me was the terrible way I was treated, and especially getting that very dirty look from the manager. That is totally uncalled for!

Please do not bring your pets here. Had an appt for 8:15. We were there. No one would answer the door, no one would answer the phone. When the store opened at 9:00, we took our pup in. No puppies being groomed, people just standing around. We were told there would be no grooming and was asked to leave. Spoke to manager and was told “we’re sorry and we can reschedule.” Manager even said she seen us sitting outside and did nothing. No signs, no nothing. Corporate is involved now since the Store Manager wanted us to push open a store door before store hours, ie Breaking and Entering to find help. Sara the regional manager in Michigan was appalled by how we were treated. Never will they earn our business again!

Good clean store. I was looking for a specific fish that they ended up not having. Seemed like quite a few dead fish in the tanks. All other animals looked good and healthy and the store is nice and clean.

Let me just start by saying I’ve been taking all my 3 dogs to the alliance location without a problem for years until today. Kay did such a wonderful job on my dog Otis I was excited to bring my other dog Max in today to have her clean him up. All my dogs take Apoquel ( a common allergy medicine for dogs ). The manager Tayna told the groomer to rush through his appointment because he was on a sedative. It is by no means a sedative. A appointment that was quoted to take a hour and a half to two hours was done in 30 minutes. I got back a wet stinky dog. Manager was super unprofessional and clearly didn’t know what she was talking about.

The employees are really nice, and very helpful.A nice place to shop.I purchased a dog wash card recently. I gave her a bath there, she really enjoyed the experience. It was nice for me also.

There is a man that works here that prevents me from ever shopping here again!!! I asked for assistance on a 50 pound bag of dog food. I didn't realize it was on the shelf. Regardless, I needed assistance. He was irritated that he had to get it. Isn't that your job? The female workers were seriously apologizing for him. Ladies you need to fire him

I shop here for normal products at reasonable prices so I have little reason to complain. I had a poor customer service experience with a checkout clerk. When she saw my stacks of canned cat food in my basket., she decided it was easier to flip my basket over on the counter and dump them. She dented several of the cans in her abrupt and stupid move. Canned goods must be handled with care because dents can result in contamination of the product. I do not appreciate her damage to my merchandise. I hope she is a seasonal hire because you can always tell if somebody cares about the customers.

Groomers cancel at last minute, with a 3-4wk wait in the 1st place. Self wash tubs are rarely "sanitized" but really friendly staff

The staff are usually friendly and helpful. The store is always clean and usually well stocked. It's never difficult to find someone if you need help.

The mealworms don't look the best. I was only able to buy 50. But they did have plenty of small crickets. I hope they live long enough to feed my toad.Staff at this location is very nice and helpful. This is one of my favorite locations to buy from. 😍

On 9/4/23 my dog had a grooming appointment with Emily. When my daughter dropped him off Emily immediately tried to reschedule the appt that took 2 months to get because she said that what I was asking for(a puppy cut) did not exist and that she knew that I would not be happy when I picked my dog up and would cause issues (he had alot on matting because of long wait for appt) even after telling her many times I understood that she might have to go shorter than normal. I did call her rude cuz she kept telling me that she needed to reschedule and that not such thing as a puppy cut(per google there is and the new groomer there is) when I asked to talk to manager, the manager immediately started talking nasty to me. I asked for corporate number and that was a joke. When they finally called me back I was disconnected 6 times and never did get resolved. I will never take my dog there again.

I love that they always have enough workers working that you can find someone to answer your questions or find different items. Also they aren't that crowded which makes shopping easier. Their isles are wide enough though that they could be crowded and you are still able to move thru. They have a groomer and diy bath. The groomers has a window so you can watch them thru the whole process. Also the DIY Bath is awesome and so easy to use! I use it for my choco lab/brindle pit mix. I also bought my ferret from here and he is THRIVING! I would recommend this place to anyone!

I called the grooming salon, and was greeted with a knowledgeable, upbeat voice of Carli. Took great care of my little guy, Grayson. We'll definitely be back, they even have a grooming rewards program!
