We lost our cat of 11 years recently so we decided to visit this place hoping it might cheer us up, which it definitely did. The cats were so friendly and cuddly, it was very therapeutic. It’s obvious they’re well cared for, happy cats. My son didn’t want to leave and was asking when we could visit again as soon as we left.

My family visited Mad Dogs and Crazy Cats cat cafe on a Saturday afternoon. Despite this, the cafe wasn’t busy and we were able to enter the cat room before our appointment. My family has visited many cat cafes, and this one was a bit different compared to the others. Most of the cats at this cafe are permanent cafe residents and are not available for adoption. The entrance of the cafe is actually a store with new and used/vintage items for sale. The cat room is in the back of the store, and there are a few snacks available for a donation. There was not actually coffee or espresso (that I recall seeing). And, despite the name, there are no dogs at the cafe! The cats were friendly and there were a couple super snuggly lap cats that would jump onto my lap whenever I sat down. The cats have 2 public rooms yo hang out with human visitors, as well as a few small places away from visitors if they need some alone time. There is also an enclosed outdoor play area for the cats! I’d recommend visiting MD&CC cat cafe if you’re in the area!

I struggle with this rating because the woman at the front desk was so nice, and the cats were so sweet, but the small was horrendous. It smacked us in the face as soon as we walked into the store, and just got worse when we entered the enclosure. It smelled like straight up ammonia throughout and made it incredibly difficult to breathe, let alone enjoy the cats. This was our first 'cat cafe' experience so I checked with some friends who had been to other cat cafes about the stench prior to writing my review. They assured me it isn't normal and I should try other cat cafes for my kiddos. There is potential here, but it seems like the place needs gutted to rid of the smell.

Went with my friend the other day. The cat rooms were amazing! So much stuff for the kitties to play on and they even have their own outdoor area! Theres a cute store before the cat rooms and the outside is decorated with beautiful art on old doors!! The cats were so sweet and I had a great experience!

My teenager loved it..she can't have a cat and I wanted to suprise her with kitties. Lpts of cool stuff in the front part to buy for kitties/puppies or decor etc. Staff was very friendly as were the kitties 😸 will definitely be making another trip in the future..

I really want to like this place. It looks fantastic and I love the idea of having a cat cafe right here in Alliance. But it STINKS. I have stopped in twice and both times I could not stand the nauseating smell of cat urine. It is overpowering. I had to step outside to gag. I love cats, I own several and I am responsible for cleaning litter boxes, spit-up, etc. And I still cannot stomach the stench let alone eat there??? PLEASE I just want to pet the kitties 😭😭😭

Great experience for anyone young and old. The cats love the attention and there are 2 rooms and outside to sit and enjoy. Admission comes with a drink and snack for donation. Great charity to help the cats get adopted!

We adopted our cat from here and we visit often. It's clear that the staff care for the cats deeply and they're well taken care of. I highly recommend visiting and adopting from here! Go see Alfred already 🐈💖

Visited for Mother's Day and loved it! Friendly staff, cats and cute decor. Loved the jungle theme they have set up for the resident cats. You can even go outside too.

Went there for their special dog nail trimming clinic. Waited outside in line and it was cold. Finally, it was our turn. Groomer did a nice trimming job on both of my dogs. I didn't get a chance to look around the store, but it looked interesting.

We stopped by for the first time over Christmas weekend and adopted a new Kitten. I can not get over how amazing the cat rooms and patio are for the cats! It was so nice to be able to see them and play with them out in the open and with no cages. My daughter is extremely happy to have a new kitten as our last adopted cat passed away from old age. Plus they have great deals on all cat and dog items and merchandise. We will be visiting again soon to get more items for our spoiled cats!!

So Cool, this place was a dream come true for my kids. They have asked to go back every day since our trip. Super cool art work and design there is something cool to spot everywhere you look. Cats are happy and well cared for, food was good and reasonably priced. Very unique experience and super fun.

I took my 6 year old daughter to see the cats today and we had such a great time! All of the cats were super friendly and playful 😸. The woman working there was also super friendly and welcoming. We went to the Troll Hole Museum that’s in the same parking lot and had a fun time there too! The same folks own both places, so it was easy to have a whole afternoon of entertainment 🙂. We will definitely be going back

My boyfriend and I had a great time at Mad Dogs and Crazy Cats Cafe today! All of the cats were really friendly and we got to sit outside with them. The worker, Jessy, was nice and introduced us to each of the cats and told us some fun facts about them. The cats are well-cared for there. Would definitely love to visit again!

My friend and I had a great time at Mad Dogs and Crazy Cats. The venue was fun and interesting, the cats were adorable and our host, Jessy, made sure we had a good time. Best of all, Alfred curled up and slept in my arms for most of our hour. So sweet!

Cats were very friendly and sweet. The whole place is such a nice space for the cats and I loved the catio. Just when I thought I saw all the cats I’d see another somewhere. You can tell these women truly love and care for cats.

The owner was friendly and knowledgeable about all of the cats. They have a book that tells about each one of the cats. They have a nice spacious area to roam around in and play. They also have a nice spacious area set up outside that the cats can go to when they want to. They have a hanging bridge attatched to the ceiling that the cats can play on. It was decorated with an outdoor theme.

Mad Dogs and Crazy Cats is a really relaxing spot to hang out with a whole lot of cute cats! Zadie is very chill and Alfred makes a great “mayor” of the cafe and his feline companions. Just don’t pick Oreo up. Also, the refreshments are old or expired. Overall great experience, and I’m gonna be coming back.

im a volunteer here and i love it the cats are so loving and i love the way they all come to greet me when i walk in. my daughter also loves coming in to help with them. i enjoy when we have customers come in and i take them back and just watch their faces light up when the cats climb in their laps for snuggles. its a great place and i love that they take in cats that need a loving place to go

This was so fun! Me and my daughter went here yesterday, and were immediately pleased about how adorble and kind all the cats were. The people there were so nice and welcoming! I have no complaints.
