Amazing experience at Willow Wood! I won't take my dog anywhere else. I recently moved here from LA and the vets there did not care about my dog and rushed him out because he constantly barks every time he goes to the vet, he loves his attention. I warned them at Willow Wood that he barks and apologies in advance because he can be a handful, they were so nice on the phone and assured me he will be fine! The second I brought him in everyone was so nice and saying hi to him, the vet tech was the absolute sweetest and she kept feeding him treats. She took him back to trim his nails and the vet came in and was the sweetest man in the entire world, you can tell he really loves animals and cares about them!! He put together a treatment plan for his chronic ear infections, told me about a movie I have to go watch with a traveling dog like mine, and my dog only barked when we were all in the same room so he actually was calm for the most part!Experience was a 20/10 and very cost effective!!

I absolutely recommend this hospital. Staff working at the reception is very kind, so it is a good start. Also nurses are caring and very professional. And I 100% recommend Dr. Hess, he is by far the best! He saw our dog, Miriam, and took his time to explain to us everything and very detailed. He listened with patience and answered all of our questions without being rushed at any moment. He also showed genuine interest in our dog, so you can clearly see he loves what he does. Thank you very much, Dr. Hess!

My husband took our little yorkie Rocky there this week just to get his nails trimed, first of all, I agree we did not have an appointment he just stopped in to see if they could trim his nails, our bad. Her first response to him was to just go up the road to somewhere else, then the other receptionist stepped in to help. We forget being in a small business ourselves we welcome any customers we may get. Anyway, the receptionist tried to tell my husband that we had never been there before, which we had been quiet afew times, but the way she handled him as a customer was so rude. They did end up trimming his nails and charged him $25.00 and also said to him that next time he came in that he would have to pay for a full visit! So, my husband said to the rude staff, not to worry, he would never be back! I guess they don't need the money, Rocky is only 5lbs and sweet as can be, it took less than 5 minutes including the paper work, if they treat my husband that way then I can't imagine how they would treat the other animals or our little Rocky. By the way here are the last dates we had Rocky there 2-16-23 for Nail trim $22.00 the next visit was 3-27-23 Exam $67.00 & Nail trim $15.00 for total of $82.00 maybe that's why they want a full visit instead of just a nail trim! Good Bye!

Friendly and efficient. Dropped my son's dog off at 10am. Depending on how quickly they complete the procedure, I might not be able to pick up until later in the afternoon. It was no problem for them. They noted they were open until 6pm, and I could pick him up any time up to closing.Turns out the procedure was done in less than an hour.

Every staff member I worked with and even ones I didn't you can tell that they all have a passion and dedication to working with animals. I will always highly recommend them to treat any animal.

Always friendly and understanding of pet parents concerns. Very friendly towards our cats who are often nervous about going to the vet. Their pricing isnt terrible and they do offer petly memberships for those who may not be able to afford the upfront costs of vaccinations or teeth cleaning.I also am never waiting too long to get seen.

Nothing but good things to say about Willow Wood. Both my dogs go there and the older has for 6 years or more. The front desk, techs, and doctors are so incredible with my pups. Dr. Connolly has been their primary vet for years and is amazing. She so good with them, extremely knowledgeable and thorough in explaining their care. So thankful for her and Willow Wood.

Hands down the best vet I have ever visited. I will always drive an hour and a half just to come to this vet than going to any near my hometown. They are incredibly professional, I had Dr. Connolly for my last visit and she was very easy going, and straight to the point. No medical jargon, it was very easy to understand what was going on and what needed to be done for our kitten. I have never had a bad experience with any of the staff here, they have always been helpful and incredibly kind. You can tell everyone who works here really cares about your pets!!

This vet practice is amazing! We were referred to them from our previous vet and we couldn’t be happier. The vets (specifically Dr. Joey and Dr. Connelly) are very caring and they take time to talk to you and listen to ur concerns. All of the vet techs are awesome and the front desk staff are super helpful as well. We had a semi urgent issue with our dog last week and even though they were super busy they made time for us to bring him in. After some blood work and a few days of meds he was back to normal :)!! They even called us a few days later to check up on him. Very professional and always reliable. I can’t say enough good things about Willow Wood! Both our dogs say “thank you”!

I cannot say enough great things about Willow Wood. Megan in grooming is amazing and so are the staff at the resort who take care of me me I drop and pick up Baby the cat. Dr. Whiteman and staff inside the vet are tender, informative, and patient. They truly care about animals and treat them as their own. I've been really blessed to find a vet so close to our new home that takes such great care of Baby.

Took my bernedoodle in for a haircut to celebrate her first birthday and meeting my family at Christmas for the first time. They did the exact opposite of what I asked for. I said "just a trim, we like her fluffy with long hair on the top." $115 later ($35 more than our usual place) and I'm embarrassed to take her home! Should have taken birthday pictures before the appointment. They said they were busy for the holiday and blamed the uneven portions on matting even though I brushed her an hour before the appointment.

Have been coming here for four years, have had nothing but positive experiences. Dr. Hess is great. He is kind, very patient, and caring. My dog had a little wound in paw and Dr. Hess checked her out top to bottom and made sure all was taken care of. The staff has been friendly, courteous, and flexible. I echo all the same that has been reported by others. There is no doubt that I will continue to take my furry companion here for many, many years to come.

We switched to Willow Wood Animal Hospital after several issues at another veterinary hospital. The issues were small for the most part but they did prompt me to look for a new vet. So glad I did! The entire staff, from the front desk to the technicians and doctors is great. In the 3 years we have used WWAH we have not had a single instance that left us uncomfortable. You can feel very confident having your pet cared for here.

I needed to find a vet's office close to home and picked Willow Wood because of their good reviews. I brought my cat here for the 1st time earlier this week just for a routine check-up and shots. Dr. Hess and the rest of the staff were all so nice and knowledgeable, and were awesome at helping my cat be comfortable during his visit!

Look no further for a compassionate, caring veterinary practice. Sammy at the reception desk was professional, smiling and greeted every pet and owner by name. I felt reassured that my dogs were well cared for on their initial visit. My dogs love going to the vet, when we pull into the parking lot they are all excited. Dr. Hess is probably the best vet I have ever worked with. His attention to detail, follow up, and medical accumine is what sets him apart. You can tell this man loves what he does and cares a great deal about your animal. He treats your pet as if it were apart of his family. I would highly reccomend Dr. Hess and his team.

The staff is excellent and ditto for the doctors. They are all compassionate, caring, and always take the time to acquaint themselves with the pets. I've gone to this Veterinarian office for nearly 20 years and wouldn't think of going anyplace else. Dr. Whiteman has seen me through three dogs. We are new dog owners and the vets at Willow Woods have been very good at answering all our questions. They have not only provided exemplary care for our Bichon, but have been patient with us. The technicians and receptionists are knowledgable and are always happy to see us. We feel that our puppy is in safe hands at Willow Wood. One caveat is that they are busy and, unless there is an emergency, it can be difficult to receive a timely appointment.

I wouldn't know because I have yet to meet the doctor. I started our GSD puppy here in August, but will be changing vets after the last visit when I was expecting to at least talk to a doctor.. I even brought up issues that needed addressed when I made the appointment. I sent him in(per their covid guidelines), and he was returned to me 5 minutes later by the technician without even a phone call from the doctor while he was in there. Very disappointed because I really wanted this vet to work, but I will just drive an hour to the vet that we already know and trust.

We took our animals to Dr Scott when he worked at another Vet's office & when he opened his own practice we were only too happy to go with him!! He's taken care of all our cats & dogs we've had & is very kind & realizes what your pet means to you. He took care of our brother & sister cats from the beginning & the brother died @ age 22, the sister @ age 25. Can't get better care than that. All in the office are very kind & help all they can!!!!!!!

I have worked with Willow Wood Animal Hospital for over 3 years now, with 2 dogs, and three cats.I am very pleased with the service the staff and doctors have provided, whether it was for routine appointments, unscheduled visits for a sick pet, or euthanasia. We have been patients of Dr Whiteman since he opened Willowwood Animal Hospital, and he and his staff are like family. We do not have children and our dogs are everything to us. Dr Scott and his staff are amazing- they loved our previous dog Melitta and our current one Tipsy as much as we do. Dr Scott, Sarah and Sammi have been there for as long as I remember and they, along with the grooming staff are so comforting, knowledgeable and caring. I can't say enough great things - from tragedies when our dog was hit by a car, and exciting moments of getting a new puppy - they have shared in it all with us. WE are very lucky to have them in New Albany
