Since a resident call Central resident didn't help me with getting a trash bag I went to the Dollar family Dollar there, didn't like the cashier,she was very rude,and not helpful.Need to screen your employees,but love your stores

I didn't even want to write this place horrible horrible horrible following me around like I'm going to steal something. I was going once a week it's clearly I needed help with something didn't get it I'll never go back there again for real. I asked something simple with cash app couldn't help me n wouldn't jus looked at me dumb founded I was really upset when I wrote this.

It's a nice little family Dollar franchise the people who work there are nice I wish the shelves would stay full they sell stuff so fast and then it takes him forever to get something back in. Otherwise I'm just grateful it's still in the neighborhood since most of the other stores are closing in the area where the family Dollar is located....

They never have good selections or many options for anything. There's only one option for say one specific item and that's all. It's very dirty and unprofessional. I don't go to this store unless it's an EMERGENCY!!

They are very ignorant in there especially the one lady. She told my younger sister to shut up. And wanted to run her mouth with us. That place is very dirty. Just overall terrible place to go. Would recommend the one in barberton

Let me tell you all a story. After picking up my comics and some DnD dice at Kenmore Komics, I decide to go across the street to Family Dollar to buy some hotdogs and chips. I get my stuff and get in line. The guy in front of me is using food stamps or EBT or something. For some reason he can't get it to work after a few attempts the cashier says thats it and to leave their stuff there and leave the store. They steal some candy on the way out regardless. The cashier calls the manager to cancel the order. I put my stuff on the counter and after a minute or so, I zone out and forget that the previous order needs to be cancelled. When I come back from zoning out I realize that I'm standing at the counter, there's a line behind me, and I haven't paid for my stuff yet. So I stick my card in the machine and accidentally pay for for the last guy's order. "Well, this is your stuff now." says the cashier. "Oop, I didn't mean to." I said. As this is happening the manager shows up. The cashier tells the manager exactly what happened. The receipt for the order I didn't mean to pay for prints out. The cashier grabs it and throws it away before I even have a chance to grab it. I stay silent expecting either the cashier or the manager to offer me a refund for the stuff I didn't mean to buy. They don't. The cashier rings up MY stuff. I pay for it. I leave, never to return. Moral of the story: Don't shop at the Family Dollar on Kenmore blvd.

Staff, Manager can be rude. Return Policy , is usually non refundable. I purchased electronic item, within that day. I couldn't return it. Purchase of a cell phone which I thought were all the same . It was different providers.As their websites, receipt says equal trade. I even called corporate , they didn't honor their policy.Before 11/9/18As of 10/23/19 Has gone down hill more. It's the managers that don't want to step up , do their jobs or rules. Some employees lazy to unload and keep store clean. Thus also lack of employees due to hours and pay. Employees not working because of the managers. I also saw security guard which and is been needed.Since unwatched group of kids or solo kids came in the store steal, make a mess. And other robbers. Rob from stores your robbing the community thats trying to have people have jobs so they can support their families.Thus also these robbers thanks to the teachers as in parent showing morals. Community is tired of it but don't speak of it like its a shame.New generation titled to everything instead of the right way of working, manners, and everything in between.It will become so bad no stores will be open. Everything literally be online. Hiding from evil.

Although I've lived in this neighborhood my whole life and watch this area go through many changes, I feel the atmosphere that surrounds this store is ghetto. The staff at this store are rude, not friendly and most of all not helpful. This store is filthy and pretty much stays that way. The shelves are not stocked consistantly. I've unfortunately watch the drastic decline of the store and the quality of the staff to this point. I would rather see this store close and leave our neighborhood than to continue operating in this disgusting manner.

Sometimes checkout is slow..lots if empty boxes on shelves. Most Cashiers make you grab your own receipt off the machine and some are not friendly! Your lucky if they have bags for your items.

This store really dont deserve a rating for real cause they never have anything stocked up there supplies are always in boxes on the floor in the store along with they never have more than one cashier upfront working they need to be shut down for real ... you can never find what you are looking for cause it's never out on the shelfs needs to be under new management that is actually going to take care of the store and do their jobs as staff and a manager. It is always nasty in the store

All I see is the workers letting people walk out without paying, let their friends cut the line etc. But when I need to grab something last minute, I get turned away when they're supposed to be open until 10... Sorry if you hate your job but you shouldn't close early . Esp. for someone who spends a lot of $ in there.

This location is apparently so understaffed at this time you'd think the store was going out of business. The shelves weren't stocked at all, in every department. They had carts full of stock, still in boxes that customers were now resorting to going through, locating and opening on their own. There was also products all over in places they shouldn't have been and even clearly pillaged products thrown all over! Even having seen 3 employees during this visit, none seemed concerned with these problems?! Service was also far from friendly this visit as well. This store has taken an extreme nosedive as it had never been like this ever! If I could they'd get ZERO stars when previous experiences had consistently been 4 or 5

The staff is a joke, they are the most unprofessional bunch ive ever seen. To let these women work with the public is going to be the downfall of the store. The comment about about loitering is true. The outside of the store is always a mess, overflowing trash can. Employees standing around smoking. Just looks trashy. On a positive note. Last time I was in it looked like someone had straightened things up a little.

They constantly close doors half hour before close and ignore customers,knowing that they are last place for miles that sells food around here. What's the most they could stay over by waiting 20min? My god there is four ppl checking out

Why is the cash out counter smaller than the number of people that can come through. I'm sorry, I enjoy family Dollars a low prices and cheap everything's, but only having two cashiers run registers, with one of those cashiers as a manager, is not justifiable as good business. People stop at family Dollar because they need to pinch a Penny, so what..? Are you going to waste their time as well..? Some of them people got to walk, and you've just made them stand for a half an hour. And this is a problem throughout ALL grocery and retail. Sorry family dollar, for using this rating, to address such an issue.

The store was fresh and clean. When I asked for help they help me find everything I need. At checkout was the problem, I asked for bags for my large beverages. The cashier had an attitude told me that I cannot have bags for my beverages. I would have rather paid for some bags then not get bags for my purchase. When a paying customer is asking for bags they should get them.

The staff there is a staph infection on that neighborhood. Rude, ghetto trash with belly shirts and tatoos showing and no bra. I bought an HDMI cord there and it didn't work so I tried to return it and they said they couldn't give me a refund. I didn't want an exchange for garbage items that don't work. What company doesn't give returns on faulty products? Never go here. I had to return it to another Family Dollar in a better less trashy area of Akron.

My children or I go to this location daily... After today, never again.When I got to the register, the cashier was texting, and completely ignored me for a solid minute. Then when I asked why the water was a different price from what the sign said, she told me they must be stocked in the wrong place (all 25 of them?). I said okay, fine. I was in a rush, and didn't want to make it into a big deal. The final straw was when I went to pay. She couldnt figure out how to process 2 different payment types, so called someone else over, then said she didn't want to deal with the attitude. I walked out, after yelling how uncalled for that was.

Usually packed. Anytime I've been in there there is only one cashier and the line that goes from the checkout straight through the walkway makes it hard to get in and out of the aisles let alone the store

Not my favorite $ store anymore. Not the worst either. It will work in a pinch doesn't have the same atmosphere as it did before it closed. I'll give it another chance but they could clean it up some.

Bad attitudes, cluttered mess. Always hiring because nobody likes working there, I guess.Empty shelves, empty shelves. This store is the most unorganized, and unprofessional place I have ever been in. Lines are always long, cashier will be talking on cell phone while ringing up customers. It's so much more. Need to shut it down!

Despite the location this is the best dollar/family dollar I have been in. I'm a manager for Walmart so I know retail and. These people keep the store well stocked clean and shelves zoned.

Staff was wonderful. I only had a $100 Bill. Wasn't her fault she didn't have change for it. I went right next door..got the change. & She kept my order. Perfectly right. & Was very patient
