Yes great ur finally closing this store and today u went to 50% half ur staff standing around while customers are spending anywhere from 100-1000$ while yet still great deals, why do u inflate ur scanned prices. For example hot plates have stickers on them that say $15 yet ringing up at 7.75. Again it's only a. 25 on this item, artificial nails were increased from 3$ to $5.5 before the 50% off. Dog toys that were marked as $1 ringing 2.10 b4 discount someone make this make sense. Bc if ur increasing even an average of .25 to .50 per item and I buy 50 items....that's an increase of 12.50 to 25 that ur making money off of. And having customers start line down freezer isle then to back of store then down back of store I guess u increase regular prices to make up for the HUGE theft going on . Out of the 2 hotplates I bought 3 other boxes are setting on shelves EMPTY!!!

Is a pretty nice store to go to needs a lot of work inside the looking for crews to work on remodeling the store that's what I do for a living rehab houses they want you to go online and do all the application work.. the older people that work all there life don't want to go through all of that just won't fill out application check our background let us work . Lose out on good workers like that. We don't want to be on our phones we don't want to take long breaks just want to get to work done . Lose good workers like that .

The picture is to show you how much ground in dirt there is. Half their shelves are empty. Empty boxes and stock is all over the floor. They don't have carts. They don't even have bags to put your stuff in. They need to be closed down immediately!

I'd be EXTREMELY CAREFUL when visiting this Fam $$$... Apparently they train their employees to pull firearms on customers and assault them for taking pictures in public, (off of Fam $ property, while on public sidewalks at that).Maybe they should take the time to educate their employees with knowledge of the law? Even a highschool dropout can tell you that taking pictures in public IS NOT A CRIME.This is absolutely no reason to threaten the LIFE of another human being. The arrogant and violent behavior demonstrated by this stores representative was not only unacceptable but down right unbelievable! I'd say that this employee was VERY LUCKY that the victim was competent enough to keep his cool and did not attempt to defend himself against this mentally unstable woman in the process.The whole ordeal could've gone A LOT worse for her, she should be thankful it only ended in her arrest.C'mon Fam $$$, y'all can do better than this. Pls hire cognitive and competent workers?!?

Horrible!!! employees leave the store property and attack a public photographer and pull a gun. Not sure what the policy is with employees conceal carrying, but I'm sure the company could be held responsible.

I was there mid Saturday morning to buy a $1 jug of water when I found out I only had .75 in my pocket.. A really nice guy overheard my discussion with the cashier that I needed to run out to the car for more money and he said he would pay for my bill. I was really impressed that he did that. Also, the guy working the store was very cool.

For the most part everything was great. I was trying to find several things and I have a hard time moving around without getting winded so a member of staff helped me to get around the store. Unfortunately there was a woman sitting in a chair with a stroller smack dab in the middle of the isle in front of the baby area so I had to ask staff to grab my things. The customers are usually a reason I don't like to shop at this particular location. People not watching their kids. A little girl nearly knocked me over, mother no where to be found. I told staff and they apologized and quickly helped me carry my bags outside. I got everything I needed from food to super glue. Thanks to everyone. Please people be more mindful of other people shopping.

Cleanliness is good, staff is very good. Overall the store is great for the size that it is. It is smaller than a couple others I've been in and it does show it by very narrow aisles(narrower than larger stores) and merchandise somewhat crammed on shelves.

I have been to third-world countries and expect places to be dirty and disorderly. Shelves that weren't bare were disorganized. Lots of products out of place and on the floor. I was asked if I wanted a hand-written receipt because they had run out of register tape. I live out of state and consider them fairly consistent. This place is the exception. Clearly the manager at this place doesn't understand the role. This place did not get in this condition in a week or month. There's clearly a lack of concern going on... Sad.

I just came into the store as I was putting my mask on. I ÀLWAYS wear my mask. I put it on to look over and see a person without one. I said can they please put one on? I was told by a girl with pink hair they are a child and don't have to. Management is out of control at this location and I will be reporting to upper management at Family Dollar. The manager on duty had NO clue how to deal with the situation saying to get out! Disgraceful!

Just to let the community know when you shop here you're paying double the price that's how they make up the difference also the common theme for family Dollars is to make the mail cheap security which he's supposed to be a stock product very dangerous place to work they have no security they don't want to pay for security just remember all their locations is in bad neighborhoods how the corporation this is the bottom of barrel for everything I experienced it I used to be employed there now it's time to tell the truth about your operation and also your store is very dirty they don't pay their employees enough money store managers will get in trouble if they don't cut employees hours now when told to I can't call this a corporation or a business just a trap and like I said the pain consumer pays double the price just do a price check you'll see it for yourself if you don't believe me have a good day 😃

The aisles are always blocked and shelves are always a mess and need restocked. Today the ceiling was falling in, which made it even harder to walk thru the store. Staff members were nice though.

As a retiree, I was in pursuit of a fun part-time job position. Someone who knows the manager told me to go to the store and apply in the store for a cashier position, per the store manager. So I did. Upon leaving the store the manager said to watch for an e-mail and I'll give you a call. Never got an e-mail.Two days later I called the manager. She pulled-up my application and said it was marked red, and that was the reason I did not get an e-mail. She said, "You should be able to answer the questions, right?" Still don't know what that means.She complained about the lazy irresponsible employees in the store. I asked her who interviewed them. She said she did. I asked who hired them. She said she did. I asked who fires them. She said she does. She said she has to be in the store everyday because the store is always short-staffed.I've worked in nursing, for 22 years. My stna nursing license is current and in good standing. I have a sound resume, excellent work history, professional references, clean backgound check, and a long history of clean drug tests. I'm not lazy. I'm not irresponsible.Before I called this manager I submitted the same application, from home, to a different store. Human Resources accepted it with a corresponding confirmation e-mail. Possibly Human Resources did not receive my application from the store because of a computer glitch. Possibly a system glitch. Possibly a program glitch. A capable manager would also realize these possibilities and address them. Human Resources accepted the same application submitted from my pc, to a different store, and I have the confirmation e-mail as proof.If one section of your application is incomplete, maybe you've missed a question, you won't be able to move on to the next section. You have to complete the sections in sequence. You have to answer all of the questions in one section before moving to the next section. You can't submit an incomplete application. The application doesn't let you. Again, there is always the possibility of a program glitch.The first day I went to the store I waited for one hour to use the computer to fill out an application. I left for an hour and returned to find the manager and the applicant still sitting in front of the computer together as the young man applied on line, finished, and had an interview.I waited an additional 2 hours while listening to and seeing customers complain about no one being at the cash registers to check them out. Three cashiers disappeared at the same time, leaving the front of the store unattended. For a total of 4 long hours the manager and the applicant sat in front of the store computer, applying and interviewing.I left again and returned the following morning and sat at that computer for almost 2 hours while the computer crashed once and continuously booted me off the application page back to the home page. I had to continually log back in to finish the application. I expected an interview to follow. Why else did this manager want me in the store to fill out an application in the first place.This manager wasted 6 hours of my time (including the one hour I left just to return) to tell me that my application was marked red, which is a bunch of bull. She wasted an additional 5 minutes of my time telling me about her lousy employees, her problems at home because she's at the store everyday, and the store's fickle computer system.Who in the name of God in Heaven would want to work here...let alone shop here.I've never shopped at this store because I didn't know it existed. I now have absolutely no desire to shop here and wait in line at checkout with a bunch of disgruntled customers complaining about no one being at the cash registers.Messy manager. Messy store.

Half of the shelves were empty, I think they were doing a mod change. Most items were over priced. There were quite a few $1 deals. Will I go back, maybe, if I am in the neighborhood and I need something quickly.

Stopped in today after a doctors appointment at the oncologist and several people in there with no mask on including a male employee, maybe the manager, I'm not sure. Thanks for putting my health and life in jeopardy. I will not do business here again since they can't follow the state mandate on wearing a mask.

This one is right down the street from my house, so I go there relatively frequently. It's not bad. I'd say it's about 50/50 as to whether or not you'll get through the checkout line in a reasonable amount of time. I'll often go in and see a line that goes back halfway across the store and only one person checking ppl out. This happens most often between 3-6pm. Right around the time most ppl are getting off coif working and stopping on on their way home. Other than that it's fine. Although I do have the same complaint I have about all the Family Dollar stores, which is that, for a discount store, their prices really aren't all that low. Some stuff is a really good deal there, but the bulk of their stuff is pretty much right in line with what you'd spend at the grocery store or on some stuff even more like what you'd spend at a convenience store. It is, however, nice to be able to go somewhere close if you just need to grab one or two random things, without having to commit to going somewhere like Walmart or something.

It has definitely improved in the past year. The old manager Mike became incharge and he made some huge improvments he then left and Tania took his place and shes a very good employee also. Their definitely getting alot more items in stock than they ever had. Im in there everyday for the past year and it used to get boring to the point i would go in a different family dollar and be in heaven but now every time i go in i see more and more new things and staff is friendly. Oh and the girl BJ that works there is a great employee also always helpful even put a blanket up for me that my grandbaby lost in there.

Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff however they seemed under staffed as the line was long (it wasn't a very long wait even using just one register) Have to say my biggest complaint is they have such a great selection to choose from and IM A TAD BIT TOO BROKE N CANT AFFORD ALL THE STUFF I WANTED !! Always messy. Clothes all over the floor. NEVER ANY CARTS. As a semi handicapped person, i NEED a cart. There are never any at the door and if you see one in the store, the staff are using it. Redeeming value IS the staff. THEY ARE ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.
