SAVE YOURSELF TIME and skip this place because the store is seriously closed more than it's open.. Very frustrating. Never seems to follow the hours listed on the doors/online. Supposed to open at 8am, I come at 10am, closed. Open til 9pm I go at 7pm, closed. If they're not closed from being robbed, they're closed for stocking which is interesting when they're always out of everything.. Just go to Family Dollar up the road!

I ordered cat food because my cats were hungry and needed food. When I showed up to pick up my cat food at the scheduled time, the store had a big closed sign on the door. I wouldn’t be mad if they wouldn’t have already charged me for it.

Says the store is open til 10pm yet every time I go to it, it’s closed way beyond that time. At the bare minimum they could update their hours to properly fit when they actually close instead of leaving others under the impression they can shop within the timeframe they’ve given, it’s frustrating when you have already went out of your way to try and go in just to the doors not opening. They also don’t use closed signs and can often be seen inside goofing off ignoring ones who do try and go in.The employees are also quick to be snippy with you and seem to have a general disinterest towards others and always seem to smell like pot. I would rather choose literally any other Dollar General than this one. By far the worst store they’ve built yet.

Bought a gallon of coolant and before I left the parking lot realized someone had dumped it out and filled it back up with water. They refused to give me my money back or exchange it. I was told I would receive a call from corporate and I never did. And just tonight one of the employees pushed the door closed as I was walking out and hit me with it and about knocked me over all because he was impatiently waiting to lock the door. Also they were closing an hour earlier then their online time stated. Pathetic

This Dollar general seemed awful small compared to the rest of the Dollar generals I've been to before there were quite a few shells that were bare, and a lot of the products were stacked so high on the shelves it's a lawsuit waiting to happen if somebody tries to get something from one of those top shelves and all the other stuff comes tumbling down on top of them.

One the cleanest, best run, well stocked Dollar Generals in the city of Akron. Would most certainly recommend visiting!!But sadly enough, they will fire you if you cant make it in due to physical pain. I have thyroid cancer and they do not care they just said, "bye your terminated!"

It is like a breath of fresh air going to the Dollar General. It is so neat and clean!! You can definitely see the workers take pride in their jobs. Keep it up! I have seen some of the worst stores in our area.

Not going to say anything bad about the employees cause they are likable and try even though the place is usually short-handed. But, please have someone post the correct store hours on this webpage. They officially close at 9 now.

This store has been going downhill for a while but anymore I don’t even like to go here. Before getting inside you’re likely to be harassed in the parking lot by a vagrant, then you enter the store to see uncleaned carts & baskets a mess, followed by a disorderly store, half stocked, half sitting on U-boats in the isles. Depending on the employee of the day, the music playing over the loud speaker may very possibly be overly loud, and extremely inappropriate. The employees haven’t a clue what they carry in the store, nor do they care to learn/try to find anything for a customer. And trying to get checked out is a joke in itself. Generally only one cashier up front who doesn’t move with any sense of urgency, doesn’t appear to like their job whatsoever, and has no professionalism. Or possibly even a member of their management team, cashing people out, in between coughing, sniffling and sneezing, kindly passing their germs onto every single item they’ve rung up. No thank you. I’ll go elsewhere.

The younger gentlemen in the store was frustrated with the system and pos at check out. The line exceeded 7 people. As Anthony is entitled to his break. He decided to take every minute of it and leave an entire store in line. The younger gentlemen acted professionally. Although I can agree, a Man is entitled to his break. It would of been nice to know Anthony had a sense of urgency to for the customer. Which was not the case leaving an entire store of customers on line to go smoke a cigarette with a store full of people. I felt bad for the younger gentlemen. I know good people are hard to find. I just wouldn’t recommend walking out the front door with a full store of customers for a cigarette break with one register open. It’s a very bad look on your business. Have that boy smoking out back or don’t come in the floor at all during your break. It frustratescustomers.

It's your typical DG that are in and around the greater Akron area. The store is very unappealing, old, and dingy. The workers are so so, they're good workers, they're not real chipper if you will, which doesn't bother me I get it. They've been robbed before, if I'm not mistaken it wasn't to long ago. The store is always stocked, it's usually clean. DG of course is a great store for people on a tight budge, from the college student, to the family of 5, and let's face it, allot of us(myself definitely) are in that category especially since Covid-19 hit.
