03-27-24Stopped to check out the toys but picked up a few things - cookie sheet 6.50, two basting spoons 1.00+1.00, 64oz ice tea 2.50.Head cashier showing the new guy how to ring out while handling a problem on another register. Process my CC and go to leave.Wait this shouldn't be $25. There's a Pet charge for 11.76 with no UPC after everything was rung up.Cashier tries to call her boss on vacation, tries to call her boss's boss, tries to call corporate.They say check the camera to see what else was rung up - nothing. Send me a pic of the receipt.No one knows what happened or how to remove the extra charge from my card.After waiting for almost TWO hours the 3 working cashiers step up and try to take cash back on their Chime cards to give me cash from their own pockets but the cards won't go through.New guy comes up and says he'll use his credit card, card won't go through.CC machines are down everyone has to use cash.Head cashier finally breaks down and take cash from the register to refund me 11.76.She is in tears - her register will be short and she will be written up.PLEASE do not let this happen.These customer oriented employees are the kind you want to keep.Please do not let this woman get written up for solving the customers problem when no one else could.....

Just wow... nothing is stocked. People are not helpful. Store is a disaster and it smelled really bad. All I needed were some plates for work and they didn't stock any. Just a big empty shelf. I asked a clerk and was lucky to leave with my head. "They're on the shelf back there". Went to Family Dollar just a stones throw away and it was wonderful. Friendly, clean and they did everything but pay for my items.

This place is always closed when it shouldn’t be. I can say twice in this last week alone. Waste of time and gas. Save yourself a trip and go to the one on Arlington. Or any other one than this one. Seriously.

This store for the amount of traffic it gets is in good shape. Most of the stores with this much traffic usually have products all over the floor and in the way, the staff try to keep this down as much as possible. It's a good addition to the neighborhood to have.

Three locations maybe more don't know about the more of the three locations that I know is Brown Street that run off for Lover's Lane there's two on Irvington one dozen South Arlington and Arlington Plaza of Arlington they're good places to go to unless you like standing on line long lines because it's only one tell her that be at the register and nobody on the floor to tell you where things are at if you're looking for them then if you're interested in buying DVDs that come straight out of the movies there's always a guy that standing out there selling them this is in the Arlington Plaza right around in front of the Dollar General or you'll find him around the corner in front of the Chinese restaurant that's like right in the plaza yes good movies you three movies for five bucks which not bad good picture that's if you want to buy DVDs or would you rather go see it in the movies.

Getting really tired of them closing when they’re not supposed to! They have a sign posted on their door saying they close at four..as if that’s not bad enough and then they lock their doors before 4 o’clock really inconvenient when you need something in a pinch

Good bargain, People that are considerate, courteous and if you need any help in the store they are will help you with anything. They have good Bargains and good sales and they don't run out when they say they have something and if they run out You can ask them to call the other Dollar General stores to see if they have the merchandise.

Long checkout line. Store a physical wreck. I was surprised I actually found exactly what I specifically went there to buy, men's socks and a made in USA glass microwave or oven baking pan.

Employee illegally searched my pockets, supposedly because she thought I was shoplifting, when I was simply checking for my wallet. Harassed and embarrassed. Unprofessionalism at its finest. Will not go back there again

They were polite but the cashier put flea collar in with the soda when they should be in different bags. Store was clean but checkout line was too long.

Stores in a bad area. Always a long line with one cashier. Employees would rather joke and do nothing instead of opening another register to help. Always someone outside asking for money. Trips take far longer then they should.

It's the dollar store. They had what I needed. was in and out but the cashier's were more then interested in their own bs to hear me ask a question then wanted to talk as I was walking out and that was ride to the next person. Not common tho I don't think.

There customer service is terrible I was waiting at the at the register for 9min. before the lady came from the back she was on the store phone talk about things that should not be said in public my 6 year old asked me how do people get (STDs) when I asked why would u ask that he said the lady at the store said someone got it

I'm giving this store 3 stars because some days I go in and it's a complete disaster. Other days I see employees working there butts off. But overall the employees are helpful and very friendly!

Shopped here and they didn't bag some of the items we bought and we went back and they acted oblivious. Tried calling almost ten times and no one answered the phones. Bad service. Plus my girl got harrassed by 3 different people on the 15 second walk into the store.

All in All it's a good store I believe that a place would thrive better if it wasn't so full it's like Fort Knocks trying to walk into the store people coming and going KINDA CRAZY and could use polished and better maintained

Really nice staff at this location, compared to other businesses in the same neighborhood, and also compared to other dollar general stores. Really sexy cashier too, who is one of the nicest employees there.

A fifteen year old kid was attacked here.He won money at a coin game next door and three crackheads followed him to the dollar general and jumped him.The problem is that two managers and a employee saw this child being attacked and did nothing.They didnt fend of his attackers,they didnt call the police.This is not the store to give your business to.They DO NOT care about customers.There are others places to spend your money.Boycott DG.

This Dollar General is honestly disgusting. Everything is so dirty. Their womens restroom is clogged, all of their water fountains are clogged with gross stuff just sitting in them and nats flying around it. Nasty place.

This store is Dirty and Un-organized, there was one cashier who needed help 5 times from the manager. I waited 18minutes in line to buy 4 batteries.
