This location (Arlington Rd) is possibly the worst I've been in. I was in there as a Door Dasher shopping for a client. They did not have a single item that she needed. The soda shelves were almost cleaned out. I went to look for trash bags...they had a couple but, not near the amount that they had tags on the shelves...lots of empty all over the store. I know sometimes there are still supply/delivery issues but, when the Dollar General a few miles away is stocked? No, this was ridiculous. The store was pretty messy and considering the lack of product, it should've been super organized. Anyway, I feel like stopping here is a waste of time. In my case it was also money lost.

I have recently become a regular customer here. Associates have been very helpful and friendly. One of the managers ( A district one I believe) was there yesterday, and was quite rude and short tempered with me about an ID verification for cigs. I hope that she's a little nicer to her employee's. With businesses looking desperately for people to work, All you managers out there, treat your people right and all will be happy.

As others have said, it’s pretty messy and impossible to find anything. I did a doordash shop for someone order and the medicine section was a mess. Everything is just thrown all over with no telling where anything is. I definitely won’t be accepting another doordash order from this location.

This store is a mess. Upon returning an item, I got 2 speaking with the manager. The shelves are empty, and because theft is so prevalent there, $220,000 yearly there, they aren't going 2 fill any shelves, except for food, until April. I purchased a few items from the makeup section, if u want 2 call it that. It was mostly empty of products and like the rest of the store, it was undesirable. The manager said it's impossible 2 keep up with the store's needs, with only staffing of 3-4 people. So all in all, they need more staff and a theft-detection system 2 keep the products inside the store.

Closest one to me. It is nasty every time I've been there. Floors never mopped always sticky. They have plenty of candy but nothing in school or art supplies. Shelves always empty. Wouldn't recommend

I’ve just moved 4 mins from this place and every time I come here they’re closed. WTH!! Closed but out side smoking cigarettes. Disgusting.

They have the normal selection that all the other Dollar General stores do. It's just okay. They had boxes of stock not put away in the middle of the aisles, and I couldn't even get to what I needed without moving the boxes out of the way myself.

It's a decent store yet I feel that they should do better with leaving their stocking carts in the isles because the isles r already small unless they change the inside store layout... Otherwise it's decent and the staff is nice

Waited for over a half hour to get in the store and no one came to unlock the doors. A worker showed up and then left after talking on the phone. They lost a lot of business today since staff decided not to show up to work.

This was the worst Dollar General I have ever been to. Trash piling up outside the building. Asked for receipt was told that machines printer won't print a receipt. Came and opened a register because line had 6 people rang up one person and disappeared...I asked if she was coming back lady said I don't know ...now the one line had 7 people and I didn't know whether to repack my stuff or just leave in frustration. Do, again I politely asked the cashier if the lady was coming back to ring my stuff and she boisterously reappeared saying she had to go get some bags. Could she not have said that? Rang me up but, as I said register wouldn't give receipt. Trash overflowing in outside bin and stuff in most aisles making it impossible to find things. I finally called it quits and left. First a and last visit to this Dollar General!!: I'm going to call cooporate this is unacceptable no matter how busy a store is.

Always closing and locking doors 5-10 mins early. If your store hours are open until 9:00pm well then stay open until 9. Y'all never open the doors 5-10 early in the morning to accommodate customers, so why ya'll like to close early?

I usually have a good experience at this location but on this particular day it was crowded and people were complaining about the long lines. I do appreciate the cashier's though, they didn't get frustrated and they remained pleasant.

The employees were rude and slamming stuff on the counters, even the manager. Did not use the coupons on the app or in paper. When I realized my coupons weren't being taken off I asked to remove items and the employee and manager had an attitude with me the remainder of the transaction to the point of I just said forget it and paid full price for the items I didn't want if I couldn't use the coupons. I should have gotten numerous items for free with my coupons and they refused to use what i had given them. This is not my usual store and it's a good thing cause I will not go back.

The new manager is a lazy, cigarette smoking waist of space. She should of stayed at Family Dollar. She don't care about her employees at ALL, and only cares about doing absolutely NOTHING and gets paid for it.

Very friendly and helpful service. I had an easy time findin deals on products regularly used. Hard at times to spot that big yellow Sign though; suggest a 5 ft move closer to the road or ya might miss it! XD

I'm always at General Dollar is one block from my house is very convenient and he always got everything you need for your household needs you know specially your disinfect soap powder is one block from my house I can run in there and get all kinds of stuff socks even though outfit for my one of my grandkids

Staff is overbearing and somewhat sociopathic. Its a unique cast and experience every time i come here. There's usually clutter in the aisles of some sort, especially the entry area between the 2 sets of sliding doors. If it wasnt a 2 min drive from my house, i wouldnt come here. And actually, ive pulled in before and told myself I didnt need a new nightmare and pulled off.Id suggest you either retrain the current staff or hire more socially experienced and personable people.

Three times in the last year, I left groceries behind. The cashier did not make sure I had everything. One time a customer caught up with me two blocks away to give me one bag left behind. Make sure the customer has everything. It doesn't end at the receipt.

FIRST OF ALL THE ASSOCIATE WAS ABLE TO HELP ME LOCATE EVERYTHING ON MY LIST. SOMETIMES WE ARE PUT IN SITUATIONS WHERE WE ALL NEED SOME TYPE OF ASSISTANCE. WE ASK FOR HELP AND IT'S LIKE PULLING TEETH TO GET SOME HELP. IT'S CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE. AN ASSOCIATE WHO CAN'T FIND THE TIME OR HAS AN ATTITUDE ABOUT HELPING A CUSTOMER IS IN THE WRONG LINE OF WORK. BUT NOT AT THE DOLLAR GENERAL. YOU GET A SINCERE GREETING AS SOON AS YOU WALK INTO THE STORE.BOTTOM LINE I LIKE SHOPPING AT DOLLAR GENERAL.
