Customer service at the pharmacy sucks. They are short staffed most days. When they have enough people they inconvenience customers and make us come inside. Not the worst thing, but yes, very inconvenient. When you do come inside they don't stop what they are doing to assist you. Customer service was much better here years ago when Buckeye and Walgreens pharmacy first cut ties. Now they are a few employees that are nice and helpful like Sean and the other guy who is here tonight. The females though. Hoooooo

I just left this CVS waiting 2 hrs just to pickup 1 tynelol and a cream prescription. The workers there are so racist, no respect for customers forgetting that customers we pay them to fix their dirty long nails. So rude and stinking communication to customers is their job description.

Whoever was the supervisor on third shift tonight at 2 AM was completely rude. I do not have to tell you if I am DoorDash for the Simple fact I am not picking up an order. I am shopping for a customer. I am shopping for a customer, so I do not have to say I’m DoorDashing. For the manger to get upset and say I’m not allowed in cvs was wrong. If you don’t like how someone talks to you then you should learn to talk to a customer with respect. Then threatening to call the police on me when I did nothing wrong is a problem. I will be calling the corporate office because this was uncalled for.

I like CVS the fact they can fill a prescription 24 -7 is great really great and you can pick up just about anything you would need if in a tite fix cause they have just about everything it's wounderful

Most unprofessional pharmacy in the entire akron area. Always a problem. This time they sent my meds to an address I have not lived at in 8+ years and couldn't be bothered to take any responsibility. If I kill myself because I can't take my high dose antidepressant for several days because of yall it is YOUR FAULT

I wish I could give this pharmacy a zero!!! I called them because they are a 24 hour pharmacy. I usually go to another CVS where everyone is nice and helpful. However, I needed my script a few hours earlier since I was heading out of town and preemptively called them to see if they had the medication I needed first of all and second, to see if I could get my script filled 2 hours early. I have gotten my script filled here before up to 3 hours early and by early I mean 6am vs 9am when most pharmacies open. So they did have the available medicine but the young lady told me her pharmacist said the earliest I could pick it up was 10am. What!!!!! I can go to a pharmacy that opens at 8am or 9am and get it at that time but this idiot pharmacist who btw, is also afraid of giving her name. I asked her for her name so I could let the customer service agent know who gave me this totally wrong information. I called my other pharmacy and they told me that they have never heard of such a policy and that they are supposed to fill my script the day of no matter what time it is. I also spoke to a customer service agent who told me they don’t have that policy and her not giving me her first name is also against their policy. She literally was asking me what I needed her name for. Oh, I want to send you an invite to a party you half wit dim lit idiot!! Why do you think I would want your name? The district manager for this store is Andrew and I’m waiting for a response. I swear these companies spend so much money on advertisement trying to lure you to go to their locations promising you above and beyond service and all it takes is one lousy dumb pharmacist to let all those millions of dollars go to waste. The funny thing is that I actually called the store and they gave me her name. I told the lady that answered that her pharmacist was rude and she laughed and said that not many people like her. I understand why. So if you want a low rate pharmacist who doesn’t want to give you her name because who knows why, she’s the one for you. She should be ashamed of herself because I’m sure this is how she treats your grandparents when they call. I want them to get rid of this stain of a person. CVS, transparency is important. If she can’t give people her first name, I’d check her background more thoroughly.

1 star because 0 isnt an option. Im not saying any of the employees were bad just their system. Went to get 2 prescriptions filled, i was told they would call me when they are ready. Never got a single call. After an hour i went up and asked how long. Got one of my prescriptions but they only told me were out of the other one AFTER i had left the store. genuinely some of the worst communication i have ever experienced. Im left incredibly frustrated and exhausted.

I’m probably going to have to change locations because this store is straight trash. First of all a couple weeks ago I came in the drive-through for the pharmacy to pick up my medicine. OK I go home and the police is at my house waiting on me, saying that the manager called and stated that I came in the store and stole something, but I never went inside the store at all, then now I’m going to the drive-through to get my medicine and the drive-through is closed making me have to come inside and and my current condition is to where it is very painful for me to walk.

I walked into CVS around 4:30am to buy metallic markers for my daughter first day of school poster board. When I walked into the store I was greeted with leave your purse at the front counter. I had to make sure that who I came in contact with wasn’t someone trying to rob me because the neighborhood isn’t the best. It was in fact a store associate. He stated that he was just doing his job and was told to tell everyone who walked into the store that either you put your purse and/or book bag or anything that someone could use to steal at the front counter or leave outside in your vehicle. It was rude not how he said it but what he said. I wasn’t going to shop at CVS however I was in a bind because no stores around are open until 6am and my son has to catch the bus at 7am. When I got to my vehicle someone was circling it because I assume they seen me place my purse in my vehicle. I felt unsafe. It was dark in the parking lot, no security of any kind, etc. If this is how people are being treated I will never spend another dime with CVS even when I am in a bind. CVS has to do better. I am ashamed to say I am from Akron when I see or hear such ignorance.

Yesterday my 70-year-old friend ran out of his blood pressure medicine and regularly it uses this pharmacy on E. Market St in Akron Ohio. The Young Lady work in the drive-through at this pharmacy stated they we are out of this medication. When I asked her if she could look on the computer and see if another CVS had it she replied no but you can check the CVS on W. Market St. so we did when we arrive the person working the drive-through did check his computer and said the only CVS that had this medication in stock is on Copley Road and it closes in 5 minutes. My friend did not get his medication yesterday and that’s a problem the young lady could have checked her computer but chose to be lazy something I see more and more at the C V S‘s whenever I do use this pharmacy for personal use or helping out a family member or a friend.

This store location is easily accessible from anywhere in Akron & it's surrounding areas. The 24hrs availability is awesome. I have been able to pick up a RX before work. I especially appreciate MELISSA for assisting me today to find applicable savings & helping me to realize the benefits of the passport program!

My sister drove me from hospital to CVS to pick up a prescription of 20 antibic pills but alas there were only 14. The pharmacy said bring them back in .. Are you kidding me it's 2am and my ride has went home. they said they'd look into it tomorrow and see what we can do

Scheduled my booster shot for 7am today, got my text notification to check-in when I arrived, I arrived 10 minutes early as suggested and check-in. I get back to the pharmacy counter and I’m told that the pharmacy is closed you have to reschedule. Are you kidding me?!? I worked until midnight last night and got up at 5:45am after sleeping 4 hours, just to make it to this appointment!! Have the decency to call and cancel instead of letting me make an appointment for 7am and wake up at 5:45am and drink 16oz of water and drive all the way to the other-side of Akron for nothing!! So rude, get it together CVS!!!

On a positive note, the pharmacy techs at the window and counter have always been very helpful and kind.However, after several difficulties getting a time-sensitive prescription filled on time, I will no longer be using this pharmacy. I have had my pick-up time pushed back at least 4 times this time and will now have to go pick up my prescription late at night to get it in time, which is very inconvenient, not to mention the potential ramifications if I take my medication late. I have been given different information about pick-up time, and only was informed about the delay at all when I call to find out more information. I am very dissatisfied with how this situation was handled.

Hope to 𝙂𝙊𝘿 you never need to call their pharmacy. And if you do, switch to literally any other pharmacy because they could spit in your mouth and provide you better customer service then CVS does... YOU WILL be on hold for hours just to ask if they have the correct prescription filled before you come pick it up (because they'll just hand you any bottle from behind the counter apparently). I'm appalled at the level of Negligence CVS can pump out on a daily basis.

Have used this location for decades. For past several months the pharmacy keeps you on hold for extended periods (30) or more or calls today disconnected after about 10 minutes. They need to do better staffing and handling all incoming patrons, including phone calls. I'm probably going to start using the new pharmacy at Summa city hospital campus. This is unacceptable.

Been trying to call for three days to find out if my prescription they had to order has came in been on hold for over 30 mins multiple times Ive called and ended up hanging up I waited so long. Pharmacist is not very helpful when insurance doesn't cover medication and another kind is needed then only to find out they were not even billing my insurance company it was covered the whole time.

I am in a fracture boot and from church I was given a ride by a friend and then they told me that it would be an hour at the window, and my friend had to leave me there. So I had to walk. 2 days before that I was told my meds would be made and to come to the window. So I waited to ask about my meds having to pee really bad it took a while. Then they denied me to use the restroom my foot hurt so bad. The manager a younger guy enjoyed telling me no and having control instead of being a good man. Then being desperate and in pain I begged the pharmacist to help me. He said that there was nothing he could do then I said I was going to go online and tell what happened to me then he raised his voice at me. I actually had to ask a stranger for a ride home. Because the pain was so bad there was no way I would have been able to walk that distance. Cvs you aren't nice people. Quite heartless and willing to take your frustrations out on others when they are in pain

You need to train your employees a little bit better about customer service you have a very rude employee me and my family standing in line you know a line built up the young man choose to Bogart his way through me and my family when he simply could just go around like one of your other employer did excuse me that was his exact words doesn't work like I'm your guest you can't just Bogart your way through like I said he could have simply went around I recommend for the manager to sit him down and tell him how to perform what customer.

Scheduled a covid-19 rapid test here for my son because he needed a negative test to return to school. When I arrived at the scheduled time I was and for information from an email I never received. I gave the woman my information and she went ahead and did the test without the e-mail. She says to park and wait 15-20 minutes and they would call with the result. I never received a phone call, waited about 30 mins before leaving. Felt like there was no one managing anything. Was never able to get test results from them.

Busiest pharmacy I have ever seen with their proximity to the hospital making it worse. Mostly find the pharmacists are only rude when confronted with rude and or uneducated customers who refuse to believe what they are being told, but not always. Probably leads to a higher than average turnover rate. I have seen as many as six people working in the pharmacy with 2 of them answering phones that were ringing continuously... not their fault they have to put so many people on hold. I will continue to use this pharmacy because I know what I am getting and know better than to expect anything else...but it will never be any different and I can't recommend it to anyone who has another choice..
