Hello, just wanted to stop by and give thanks to your employee Shawna. My mother and I called in on Feb. 27th with a bakery question and Shawna answered the phone that night. The store itself was closing soon and she mentioned that the bakery had closed shortly before. She still took time out of her busy night to assist us with our need and that shown proper and efficient customer service. Thank you for having a great personality and being informative!

Been a member for a month and I love it. Not only do they have bulk they have individual stuff for better price and I’m loving the coupons. I really like shopping here. I never had an issue with customer service in the front of the store. I was a member to bjs in another state years ago and always love bjs.

I love to shop at BJ's they have everything I need and it's never too busy. That being said customer service is bad here. 75% of the time that I have to deal with a staff member it's not a positive experience.

They are storing full size filled bottles of propane inside the store. If this isn't the most unsafe thing I've seen that is not only unsafe for the customers but the staff. Please fix ASAP.

BJ's always has what I want! Most of the time they have what I need! LOL! Every time I go there I always find something else. A lot of the time they have a coupon for that too! They take food stamps they take coupons they take cash and they take credit cards what more could I ask for? It's worth paying for the membership and if you get them at the right time you can get it for $25 a year. Definitely well worth that!

We enjoy the club for a variety of reasons, such as it is never crowded and they have a variety of products. The only knock I have against this club (and main reason for the 3 stars) is the third party vendors who are there to try go sell you stuff. For example, ATT has a stand in an area of high traffic that you normally have to walk by to get to the rest of the store. Every time we go the ATT associate stops me or my wife to ask about our cell phone service. I tell them know I am not interested. Other times we try to avoid that part of the store where ATT is located and the ATT person still seems to find me in some other part of the store. There is also a person there from an electric supplier who mentions they are giving $50 away and then proceeds to ask to see your electric bill. I refuse to show him my bill as that is a tactic to try to switch you without your consent and also who wants to spend time trying to pull up their bill in the middle of the store when your main reason for being in the club is to shop. The electric supplier is hit or miss being there when we go, but the ATT booth typically has someone there and it is getting very old.

I needed to get 250 apples and bananas this evening and a staff member named Juli helped me pick the items out and load them onto my cart! A very sweet girl helped me check out using self checkout and had a cart guy help me load my car. Excellent customer service this evening in the pouring rain. It is not often that people go out of their way to help customers anymore and the staff exceeded expectations! Great job.

I highly prefer BJ's Wholesale in comparison to Sam's Club and Costco. They have a better and wider food selection. More importantly, they have a better fresh produce section. They also sell a lot of organic and healthy bulk food items in the fresh, frozen, canned, and boxed sections. For most items, the price is about the same, or exactly the same as other wholesale clubs. They also have a lot of frequent, good coupon deals (mailed for members or available at the customer service desk). I highly suggest checking out BJ's Wholesale, if you're not already a member.This location:Store was clean and stocked about the same as the other branches. They're doing some remodeling at the moment (4/2018), so things are less organized than normal. Overall, it was still easy to find everything we needed. The staff was also easy to find and quite friendly.

I've been a customer with Bj's since they opened and it has went way down. It's disappointing when you go to the deli and no one is there, only to heard the person working the deli yell from down the main isle that he's on break come back in 15 mins he's the only one there. That is unacceptable in every way. What is going on with management?? I am going to reconsider my membership. I'm sure they don't read these either but others need to know.

I am a PA member, but I have to post about an awesome customer service experience with the Akron, OH location. My online order was three weeks old and still hadn’t shipped. Customer service online couldn’t help. They did find out that it was to ship out of Akron. When I called them, the issue was resolved right away. Arlene, Member Services, and Krista, Shipping Department, were wonderful! Thank you so much for your assistance.👍

Just had a HORRIBLE customer service experience. Same lady usually begs for a 5 star review so to have her be rude about a policy change was REALLY bad. Given I had 3 items and the actual cashier for the lane was starting to check me out based on the old policy don't know what the problem was. Could have just informed me that next time her is the policy. The recording on 'how you value customer safety' seems like complete BS when you reverse policies put in place to help with customer safety. With Sams Club a mile or so away people better get their customer service act together.

Been a member since 2004...im done! Bought 4 P&G products they were supposed to put a $20.00 credit on my card at a later date. It never happened...manager said to come in and she would make sure I would get it. Went in and it wasn't there so talked to same manager again...convenient she won't honor it now! When I called someone tried helping me...then hung up on me! Poor customer service!

Really love the fact that you can use coupons on their products, earn 2% back on purchases and get gas at a discounted price. The deli and meat departments have the best managers who are not afraid to work and give you the best product and service possible. You can always call ahead and order what you want and they will get the party started . They do a great job!

I ALWAYS enjoy my experience with BJ's. Their staff is friendly, they provide exceptional CUSTOMER SERVICE from the time you walk in to the meat/deli department, to the cashiers to the young men who help load your vehicle. Excellent employee retention (always see the same faces). Love being able to use coupons and prices are reasonable. Keep up the good work. :-)

Very very disappointed. Love the store, very organized, very clean, very easy to find things. However as I left today there was a man standing by the exit no mask, no anything as he was COUGHING heavily toward me and others that walked out. I reported to the girl that checks people out as they leave and she replied with so what. Very disappointed. Even further, I chose not to tell her boss because I KNOW that employees like her never get any type of punishment. I am now afraid for my life by going shopping in this store and knowledge that the employees don't care for our safety is even more damaging. EVEN FURTHER as I walked past her she under her breath said I was a whiny Democrat. I don't even have a political party that I follow. This is very bad. This was my only outlet.be safe and aware and if anyone coughs on you I suggest you take matters into your own hands cause these people do not care. I had to sit and wait on him to come out and take his license plate to run it because the employee showed no concern. That way if I end up sick I know where to send the proper people to handle him. So disheartening.

This buy online, pickup in store for free is such a crock. Twice I've completed this process, and twice my order was wrong.This last time has me madder than a wet hen. I put in an order while at work, then stopped by after work to pick up my order (which BTW was PAID FOR IN ADVANCE) I had to stand around in the "pick up order here" sign for nearly 20 minutes while the store employees stood around talking to each other. Two employees were at the front desk assisting customer service issues, while I stood alone in the Pick Up line. Not one person offered to help. Everyone stood around in their masks and just chatted and totally ignored me.Finally, an employee came off the store floor, stopped and asked me if I needed anything. She was close to clocking out, but she took a moment to help. She brought me my order , signed me out, and I went on my way.At the car, I realized I was missing an item and it wasn't on the checkout list. I checked my order and the item was listed and was PAID FOR. I went back in thinking it was just a quick fix, BOY WAS I WRONG. First I was ignored again, so this time I interrupted 3 employees chatting around the customer service desk area and let them know I was missing an item. I was told to go get one. I said I didn't know where the item was, and they pointed in the electronics area and said, "go look over there".Seriously?? I thought this was buy on line and pick up in store...they never said anything about buy it first then go search for it yourself. Not wanting any issues, I sent in search of my item... and could not find it. I asked another employee to help me, but neither of us could locate the item. She went off in search of a "stock person", and I returned to the customer service area to be ignored and wait.I waited another 10 - 15 mins before being noticed by the first employee who assisted me. When I explained what was happening, she went off to look for the item as well. So I continued to wait and be ignored.Finally when I saw all the employees were up front talking among themselves, I went up and asked if anyone had any luck locating my item.I was then approached by a young woman who asked to see my "confirmation" email. I showed her the only email I received and as of this moment is still the only email I've received concerning this order. She very rudely stated that was NOT a confirmation email. My response was...ummmm so? The email showed it was ordered and paid for. She condescending told me that I should have waited until I received a confirmation email. I explained that confirmation email or not, I had received the rest of my order and it had a list of my items, except the one that is missing but was paid for.The young lady continued to point out that I had not waited to get the confirmation email before picking up my items. She told me had I waited, I would have been informed they do not have those items. I explained I was told by other employees their inventory showed this store had two in stock. She told me they were broken. With a straight face and everything... broken....and had I waited for the confirmation email, I would have been made aware of this. I almost laughed.I was tired of the condescension, the waiting and lack of total customer service by this point, so I asked what would happen now. Ms Confirmation Email explained that I would be getting a confirmation email and I should wait for it. Still no confirmation email....I am stuck in confirmation email hell...out of my item and my money. BJ blows...

The 2 guys ( not the manager )in the TIRE DEPT. were AMAZING and helped us track down the best tire deal for our Ford . Only "complaint" about tire dept. Manager is that he has REFUSED to re-fill propane tanks for my family that were out of date by as little as 2 months.....C'Mon Man ! Yeah....I get it....he is doing his job but took the tank down road and got it filled NO PROBLEMS 2 more time before I traded it in to Blue Rhino. As far as the rest of the shopping experience ...MUCH BETTER than Cosco or Sam's. When they have a real "SALE" with their own coupons you will get a fantastic deal because they still allow you to also use the newspaper coupon too !

Wonder how they stay open...nice staff...never busy no matter when I go there....fresh meat way overpriced....and COUPONS?? just lower the damn prices! Won't renew membership. Costco in Boston Heights is booming....better deals.

I used to love going to bj's, however, i was there last weekend and was approached 3 different times by sales people for phones, gas suppliers....while i was in the aisles shopping. I may change my warehouse club. That is not what i want to deal with when shopping

BJ's has been my go to store for over 10 years, but with the new awful self checkouts (which even the employees agree are terrible) and limits on how many items you can check out on the self check aisles plus poor customer service, I am switching to Sam's Club.

At my local BJs in Conyers, Ga. I purchased an item. I went back the following week to purchase more and was told by three employees that they didn't have anymore. The cashier, floor manager and Customer Service. The only way would be to order on line. The item was not online and I looked for the item at other BJ'S. I called the Akron, OH store and was blessed to talk to Nicole( Manager) who answered the phone. Nicole put me on hold to try to contact the Conyers store, but just as I tried, she couldn't get anyone to answer the phones. Needless to say, Nicole went above and beyond. She called me back, they had it in stock and she had it delivered to my home. She is the reason I will renew my membership with BJ. Nicole is Professional, courteous, reliable and honest. Customer service at its best! I appreciate her assistance and easy transaction of getting my items. Thank you so very much Nicole! You are the epitome of Customer service.

Store is clean enough, staff is friendly, deli is great. Best deli meat for that price.The deli is why I kept the membership. For the rest of the store, it is Sam's club only 5-10% more expensive. Meat is around 15% more expensive.

I have had a good experience shops here so far. It's my third visit. So far so good. There is a wide variety of merchandise to choose from. Ample parking Good location for restaurants of various types. Close to the express way and route 8.

Once again there is a long line with only 1 register open while there are 4 people standing around helping no one. It's getting really old. They stand around talking and laughing meanwhile poor Heidi is working like crazy.

Have shopped at the Akron BJs club since its opening many years ago. The staff and employees are wonderful and long time staff. They know my name and my children's name as they have grown up at the store going in every week. Their perks pay for the membership and get perks back periodically. Their deli has the best meat in Akron. Their tire center has annual deals that beats the competitors. We use them frequently as we keep their tires on 3 vehilces.They support local community outreaches and give back.They have my business!

Customer service has little and no knowledge of stock and how to acquire assistance on purchase availability and orders. Seem to not want to be bothered when asking for help. Lack of knowing how to assist customers with problems. Thinking of going with Sam's.
