I have never been to a Menard’s before, but I just moved to North Dakota and helping my dad remodel his place. I was told it’s worth the hour drive because local hardware store marks up their prices quite a bit and I would agree the prices can’t really be beat other than Walmart which doesn’t carry as much home improvement/hardware store products. The biggest complaint I have and why I rated a 3 and not a 5 is due to the outdoor yard pick up procedures. The sheet they give you has no instructions on where to go or even how to go about the picking up of your purchased items. So I was completely lost, being sent all over the place to pick items myself (I was under the impression they’d have it waiting for me) and then when I tried to exchange 2 pieces of 1/4” plywood for one sheet of 1/2” at the counter connected to the store, I was told they cannot do a return or exchang e and I would have to go up to the font of the store, do the return, then come back there. That’s absurd that your team back in the lumber dept cannot do returns for items that haven’t even left your facility yet! Once you figure out how to educate customers better and give your lumber guys more customer service power, you’ll get a 5-star rating from me!

Hands down the best Box Home Improvement store. They have embraced technology to a whole new level. Between the app that literally has every item, to the barn design software to their ordering system. I cannot say enough.As far as the Williston location, the staff is super helpful, from the Management, Front end, Returns to the Building supplies and Order pickup. They are all great. I have to drive 600 miles to get to this store, but it is worth it not to go to my local Lowes or Home Depot.Please continue to expand the Menards chain westward throughout Montana!

Worst experience EVER!!! they sold us a range and a hood vent for our kitchen.They also charged us $200 for the removal of old appliances and INSTALLATION of the new ones...The poor delivery driver got out to our house, and he COULD NOT INSTALL our hood!Also, menards failed to tell us that we need to purchase a new wire plug for flat top range!This experience has been lies upon lies! All to make a quick buck on unsuspecting customers!! I can not believe they do business like this and still have the audacity to say they care about their customers.Overpriced and apathetic, menards leaves its innocent customers wishing for the truth yet dumbfounded... folding long receipts, and shaking their heads in disbelief.Rant over. Do yourselves a favor, and make the drive to home depot. It will hands down save you time and keep your buying experiences once again enjoyable and trustworthy.(P.s. at least the tech promised to call later to see what he can do to get the fees they charged refunded to us.)

Needed to pick up wood. Driving around forever looking for my order. I had to get out of my truck searching for someone to help me. Meynards should give a discount for how long it took to find my stuff. Really irritating. The black gentleman at the checkout booth was very rude needs to work on his social skills as he has none

I was treated completely rude. I had an online order come in. I went to the back and the gate person would not let me in because I had no bar code to get in. Had to go through the front of the store and walk all the way to the back for orders. Waited 15 mins till someone would help me. To my delivery info and went to look for my product I ordered. Came back 20 mins later told me he could not find it and I would have to come back later to get it. Tried to ask why when I got an email and text saying it was at the store but he says it was not there. Service was just completely rude and not helpful at all.

I ordered ceilng tiles from Menards and was very impressed at how receptive the staff were. I picked them up the next day and must say, the lady in shipping and receiving made sure that my purchase experience was nothing short of perfect. Great company to deal with.

So I head here to replace some light switches and i find some for 2.97 a piece so I grabbed a few and head for the register to pay and they ring up at 12.97 and they refuse to honor the shelf price because there was a tag covering it up.

I like to shop here. The prices are decent & comparable to other stores in town. I can't get everything that I need but they do have some groceries & their milk is a good price. The aisles are wide. Employees are very helpful, kind, courteous & they smile too! That is the difference that keeps me coming back to shop at Menards.

I freaking love Menards. Nowhere else can I buy everything I need to build and finish a home, landscape and furnish it, and even put food in the fridge and a 20 foot seasonal inflatable on the lawn.Also a great place to walk for free when the weather is poor, just mind the forklifts

Decent place to get hardware and home improvement items. We don't have anything else, so it is what it is. They don't carry some big brands like the other home improvement stores do, but they are ok. Nice enough staff and wait times for checkout.

As much as we usually enjoy shopping at Menard's, I have to say I'm pretty disappointed. A few weeks ago we had trouble getting help with some wood trim that we were looking for, and then the guy we asked to help us was super rude. I realize these things happen and I chalked it up to an off day. But then yesterday we were trying to buy mini blinds that needed to be cut to fit our windows, and after waiting 25 minutes for help we gave up. Apparently there was only one person there that could do it, and they were rude and barely acknowledged us at all. We will be back to shop there again, but I just hope this poor customer service situation isn't a problem every time now.

Excellent store with excellent selection. I call the place "stuff mart" cuz it has everything there. Just got a compressor today from there. Reason for the 3 star is they require masks to even enter. I have asthma and don't function well with one. I often find ways to avoid going there and go to Ace so I don't have to wear it. If Ace had the compressor I wanted I would have gone there to buy it.

Really nice place.Has everything you can imagine. The only problem i had was picking up my Styrofoam from another building. Was really confusing. Need more signs directing were to go.The staff was helpful when I asked questions.

They have a good selection of products but don't always have in stock what ya need. I went in today looking for a certain Contact Paper that was advertised on their website and they didn't have any. Also I tried to apply for a job there but they won't allow anyone to work without a mask.....no exceptions! The lady I talked to about an application was very discourteous borderline rude. I definitely won't be working there! Also their sale prices are ridiculous.....I was out in the garden department and noticed that some of the plants were wilted and very sad looking. The sign said they were discounted so I went over thinking they'd be a couple dollars....WRONG! Over 10 dollars for an almost dead plant!

W A R N I N G !!! DO NOT GET YOUR PROPANE HERE !! Unless your empty!! They charge a flat rate. If your tank is 3/4 full or 1/8 full it’s the same price as a completely empty tank. DO NOT FUEL HERE UNLESS EMPTY OR NO OTHER CHOICE !!!!!!

Their just so helpful, they have an awesome collection from A to Z. One kid ran me about the store getting me exactly what I needed during our trek I learned he wanted this hunting knife for his birthday. I secretly bought and gave it to the manager for him, what I'm trying to say is FANTASTIC service!

Went there to buy a propane heater. Didn't have the one I wanted so bought a different one. Drove 20 miles home and the heater doesn't light. Went back to town and found the heater I wanted at Tractor and Supply. Took the heater back but couldn't find my receipt. Told that since I didn't have a receipt they could only give me a little over half what I paid for it 2 hours earlier. Although very upset decided to let them steal $30 dollars from me. Then they proceed to tell me that not only are they stealing $30 from me, the balance could only be given in store credit. They were even able to find the transaction which proved I purchased the item that day. I threw the store credit back at them. Would rather be out the money than accept them stealing from me. Thieves. Will make buy anything I need that Menards sells in Montana from now on.

Super displeased. I purchased a sbappwr electric push mower only to find out they dont carry the batteries or charger so i cant use the mower.. not a good way to run a bussiness.

I love/hate Menards. There's so many good deals on items I need that I always go w-a-a-a-y over budget when I'm there for a specific item, which they usually have on hand. Great selection of so many products and their clearance prices can't be beat.

What's happened to the outstanding brass fitting assortment? I cannot find the fittings I need (that I've purchased in the past). Also the fittings are all mixed together like someone does not know the difference between a threaded and solder fitting.
