Joke of a store. Nobody in the store that I talked to could figure out where one single item was that showed in stock on their website. Only person that was slightly helpful was the flooring guy and it wasn't even an item in his department. Employees are were too busy gossiping amongst each other and telling stories to other customers.

Undergoing a remodel, website shows that they have something in stock, they didn't have it. The lady that we asked was a bit rude in her reply, customer service means more to me that what you have in stock, so we took out business to Menards. Their website accurately reflects their stock, and makes it very easy to find it in store.

Don’t bother trying to get a vehicle key made , they advertise everywhere that they do until you show up and they tell you to come back in a week we don’t know how . Oh and come in before a certain time or we won’t help either , apparently only open until 5

So the big difference between Ace in Williston and other hardware stores in every other town I've gone to is there are almost always a couple people in the main aisle who ask you what they can help you find and they actually mean it. Don't feel weird about it; just tell them what you are looking for and they will take you right to it. If you say you are just looking they will leave you alone as long as you like.They have a nice selection of wild bird stuff: feeders, baths, lots of seed varieties, hummingbird feeders. They have a good seasonal section. I like that they do keys, because it seems like I am constantly needing some made between work and home and relatives who need someone to water plants or come mow yards while out of town. Decent paint counter, enough plumbing stuff to make home repairs and probably more, equipment rentals, power tools. It's nice to have a hardware store like this in town.They also have a couple aisles of the unexpected items, like a small section of craft supplies, some good kitchen stuff, a lefse maker, spicy pecans, great gloves, really soft licorice.It's usually my first stop to see if I can find something, and then i go look for it elsewhere if Ace doesn't have it. But they usually do.

This is one great hardware store! As soon as I walked in I was asked what I was looking for and when I told them I needed a few keys, the kind lady announced my need over the P.A. system. John was waiting for me in the back and we had a wonderful conversation while he made my keys. He was terrific. The store is clean and bright and well-stocked. I will be coming back. Thanks, John!

I like going here. They have a little bit of everything, stuff you would not expect. Everyone I have talked to there is friendly and eager to help you find what you are looking. I don't believe there was a time I went through the store without someone asking if I need help finding anything. They even take the time to talk to my wandering children. Lol. Also if there is something you need and they don't have it they will order it so you can pick it up at the store later. Great feeling place...

This store has a great selection of flooring and a staff that checks up frequently to see if you are finding what you need. It is appreciated! What is annoying is they start shutting off lights 10-15 mins before the store closes and herding you to the cash registers. It feels like come closing time they no longer want to serve a customers needs and want to be home as fast as possible.

Even with all the moving things around the Employees knew exactly where to send me and walk me to for what I was looking for. Very helpful. Thank you for great customer service. There is nothing greater as a customer than being able to ask a question and getting an answer instead of a look of discuss as the employee looks around like where do I look or who else can I ask. My favorite is why is this customer bothering me. Ace thank you again for the friendly service.

There is a MASSIVE selection of flooring to pick from here. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They are willing to not only help you find what you are looking for, but they will help you find out what you need to complete your project if you aren't sure. Travis, Sarah, Raelynn... the list of good employees goes on and on. I've never had a bad experience here.

This store never disappoints you can find almost anything you are looking for plus an extra flashlight or 2. They carry Milwaukee tools, craftman, Dewalt and more, Great place to buy a grill, tile, and paint. Everyone who works there knows their stuff.

My bf and I were followed around the store by an older lady that worked there. She asked if we were looking for something and just kept staring at us after I told her we were fine. We felt uncomfortable so we just left.

Avoid Rick. He's pushy and rude. He doesn't listen to what the customer says and grabbed an item right out of my hand. Edie, John and Crystal were helpful and polite. They listened first, then responded appropriately.

Found an item online said i can pick it up today was in stock at the williston store the employees couldnt figure out what that means. She said that in store pick up today means i can order it it might be here thursday or friday. Of course this was after i had to interupt there b.s. session . No help at all. I even showed them on my phone . SORRY ABOUT ASKING YOU TO DO YOUR JOB!

I like the hometown vibe this place has. Prices are higher but you get knowledgeable help and a friendly staff. Plus you can rent any tool you can think of. Great store!

They are very helpful, almost to a fault...they insist on helping you even if you don't need help...but everyone is pretty friendly over all, I just try to not look like I need help haha!
