They were amazing. I came in with what I thought was a bad bead on one of my tires. Turns out I had a slash in it. They replaced the tire with a new used tire that has 40,000 plus miles left on it with no charge. Their waiting room and staff are very knowledgeable and comforting. Very well priced as well!!!

I was not impressed with my experience here. I brought my car in to get checked out. I waited two weeks and had to call them multiple times to get the estimate. I had to explain my situation to 3 different people. After I brought my car in, they forgot their garage door opener in my car and left a rag in my hood. I’m already having issues with the problem they were supposed to fix. I just brought it to a new place and it was a simple fix.

Don't bring your car here. They charged us $3,298 just to have my 2008 Suburban going to the junkyardThey tried to replace the heads on my Suburban. When I got my car back the gas lines were not reattached. After I got them reattached, I took my car home. Next morning, my car over heated after driving 4 miles. Stopped at a business, my check engine light came on, light came on to do an oil change, stabilitrac turned itself off. Pool of coolant and oil all over the ground. Your vehicle is not safe here. If I could give negative stars, I would. Save you vehicle and go somewhere else.

I'm a Fargo native but now live in Minneapolis and anytime I need work done on my car, I take special trips home to Dakota Tire and of course visit family.While the customer service at most shops really leaves something to be desired, the Dakota Tire team really goes above and beyond your expectations to help personalize the experience as well as make sure you are taken care of.I've recently visited and their new waiting area is incredible. They've got a fireplace and comfy chairs to make you feel relaxed as well as a nice kitchenette, play area for the kiddos, and clean spacious bathrooms.Overall, I've been working with Dakota Tire for the last 10+ years and they are and will continue to be my #1 pick for tire and mechanic work.

Absolutely destroyed my vehicle catching the car on the lift rammed it off by pulling it with a truck and having a jack on my differential while smashing the gas using my awd to have the front tires push while the truck pulled. Manager did all of this to my vehicle and at the end screamed at me saying it was my fault I didn't tell him the car had modified suspension for ride height. Ran over bolts on the ground literally watched a worker stare as it got rolled over.

Terrible service I had 2 tires replaced on rims and less then a month later on my way to my camper my tire fell off the mechanic who repaired the damage said that the lugs weren't tightened had to replace the rotors and lugs and destroyed my rim not to mention traumatized my daughter I called the next day to speak to a manager and never got a call back terrible service avoid at all costs or atleast check your lugs after having work done

Horrible customer service. Was there couple weeks ago to get tired fixed. Lug nut wasn't tightened. Went back and manager blew me off saying it has been that way for quite some time. Will never come back. And would give a zero star if could.Here is a picture of lug nut that you can tell they put too much pressure on from compact. You couldn't even do that with hand cranking. And only reason it is rusted is due to the extreme moisture that was had first couple weeks in April. Common sense is once you put a scratch in steel it rusts within a matter of time. On a 2020 pickup, there shouldn't be any rust.

I would say they’re good at pricing and time of work . Watch out !!!! but for communication wise here’s a thing. I have an issue to keep in mind when someone call to verify something. when something is going on in their own life and they want to make sure that they’re not blaming the wrong person or anything else. Keep in mind food for though Maybe not be so judgmental . Also, listen to your customers more thoroughly instead of just jumping to conclusions give me they’re trying to get to a bottom of the situation .

Brought my pickup in for mount& balance 4new tires. They got me in a couple hours later. I was expecting a couple days. Swapped out the old for the new n balanced them n I was on my way. I won't say what they charged me but,it was less than quoted over the phone which I would've been okay with paying that charge. So I was a happy camper. Great counter personal too!!😁

This is a great business, they where very fast and had great prices on getting my tires mounted and balanced. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone was very curious and helpful I believe he was the same guy that helped me. Best price in town for getting tires mounted and balanced that I could find, some locations wanted to change 240 for 4 tires and that's a rip off in my opinion. I would highly recommend this shop for your vehicle nerds

TLDR: Quality work and pricing. Could improve on communication.My car ended up being there for 4 days because they had to wait for a part (not a big deal). After the initial call letting me know what was wrong and what the plan was, they didn't call again. Last I had heard, they were waiting for the part and weren't sure when they would get it. I didn't find out that they had even started working on the car or get a solid timeline for when I would be able to pick it up until I had called them and the guy seemed confused as to why I was calling.Not a big deal in itself, but when they don't have loaner cars, it's kinda important to know how many days you're going to have to plan for. Granted, they were busy when I had gone in to pay, so they probably just didn't have the time for the extra call.Overall, the pricing was fair and they were nice every time I did talk with them. Didn't make me feel dumb like some mechanics or charge me for anything I didn't need. Got tires replaced. Tire light was on and asked about it before I left. Wasn't on when I dropped it off. Was told it would go off and it never did. Then my hubcap went flying off on my way home and likely hit someone's house, they broke it I am certain. Tire light remained on for weeks and went to gas station, all the tires were low. Aired them up and light was still on for a week. On the interstate lights were flashing saying something was wrong with the tires. Pulled over to look at them on the side of the interstate and looked okay. Brought it back and they replaced a part that I am certain they broke when they replaced the tires and tried to charge $100 for their repair and the NEXT DAY ANOTHER hubcap went flying of on another wheel. The first guy I worked with I got the vibe he knew something was wrong with the tire and just told me it would go off to make me go away, and the other guy was a total narcissist.

I had a slow leak on my rental car, the last thing anyone on a road trip wants to deal with, and Dakota tire was able to make the experience as pleasurable as it can be. Quick, efficient, great price and a charming location. Possibly the best waiting room I’ve ever been in for a car service business. The gentlemen were kind enough to check my fluids and other vitals to ensure I was set for the rest of my trip. Well we went in for new tires & an alighnment, they said until tuesday supposedly set up a appointed never called me so i called And they rescheduled for the morning said too wait 40 mins too an Hour i waited 4 hours only too see my truck parked & nobody servicing it, who knows maybe i rubbed them the wrong way but my time is valueble & i dont apreciate it been wasted
