I decided to use their services a while back to board my dog. I came at the scheduled pick up time and no one was there, I double verified the pickup time by calling beforehand and there was zero issue and was told to see them then. Fast forward and I’m there while it’s completely deserted. All of this happening while I have a flight to catch. They didn’t seem to care and continue to be unprofessional. They are not friendly towards intimidating dogs even if they’re friendly.

I'll start off by saying that if you're looking for care for your pet, DO NOT GO HERE. I'm not a current client but after this weekends terrible experience, I won't be considering bringing my dogs here either. My dog had a run in with a porcupine and needed to be seen within the hour because of critical placement of quills in his mouth and back of his throat. I'm new to the area and was looking for someone to help because I could not pull certain quills by myself. The after hours emergency line states that an on-call veterinarian will reach out in 5 minutes from leaving a detailed messaged. I left all the information that they request so I could receive a return call and not a single person from this office called me back. My dog ended up receiving other care over an hour away and hours after the incident but yet the office that's 5 minutes down the road has STILL not returned my request for help/an appointment even 24 hours later. I had to call 5 other offices that still took a while to get back with me but they all eventually did. No one from Watford bothered to reach out even during their business hours. What an absolutely poor excuse for a supposed emergency line.

I was so scared when I figured out my frenchie was pregnant and 22 hours away from home. Although the Vet was very thorough and helpful even on Sunday when my Bella girl started labor. We tried to let her have the puppies and when I called concerned that she had not had a single puppy, No problem.. got her right in and done a C section. All the puppies are healthy and Mom is resting nicely. Everyone was very social and kind. I can say I am very pleased so far with my frenchies care while being away from home.Thank you all at Watford City Veterinary for having a kind heart and taking good care of of my babies.

We had the Absolute delight of working with Dr. Sam and her team. Our car had sudden health issues and they got him seen ASAP. They are awesome at keeping you up to date on our animals care, and procedures being done. I think prices were Very reasonable. Every single person we spoke with a the clinc was friendly, well informed and just over all great.I can not thank them enough for everything they did.

Brought my puppy here for a pretty bad vehicular accident, and he was right back to his normal self, they have been very professional, and very kind. They always keep my updated on what’s going on, and how my dog is doing while he is there. Thank you watford city veterinary center!

If you live in Watford or surrounding area, this is the place to go. We drive out form Williston for our pets and they are beyond amazing. Whether you need a general check up and vaccines or boarding and grooming, they are spectacular. The front desk staff are always so sweet and helpful, the vet and nurses always listen to everything and you never feel rushed. They are always super gentle and caring, and both my pets and I notice. They are incredibly affordable considering the how nice the establishment is how well they take care of everything. They also always are able to get me in within a reasonable timeframe. I never feel pressured, or feel as though they are up selling me. They truly go above and beyond and I cannot rave about them enough! Take your pets here, you will not regret it!

Every time I’ve gone in, the staff is friendly and the doctors are great. I bring ALL my weiner dogs in and they are all awesome with them. Anytime I’ve needed anything , they’ve been there 💯! I’ve been there for my puppy well checks & vaccinations, x-rays and even an emergency visit with what turned out to be one of those nasty fox-tails! I highly recommend! We all love Dr Sam especially!

My husband and I just moved to Watford City with our three English Mastiffs a few weeks ago. My three babies are due for their annual vaccines and two of my dogs need to get neutered and spayed. I was worried about taking my beloved babies to a new vet to go under anesthesia for surgery. I took my boy in to the clinic today for his vaccines and I left feeling happy and my mind at ease. The receptionist, to the vet tech, to the vet, everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and made my boy feel right at home. He goes back in a few days for his neuter and gastroplexy. I feel confident knowing I am leaving him in good hands! I will also be returning soon with my girls for their vaccines and for my youngest girl’s spay. Their prices are extremely competitive. Even a little cheaper than my regular vet’s office back in South Texas! And they take care credit as well. Whether you have a dog, cat, livestock, bring them here! You won’t regret it!

First thing, the facility is beautiful, and the first couple times we went were great. Then, one of our dogs got sick. We had a female doctor, and she diagnosed Shelby with old dog ataxia. Within 24 hours, Shelby was doing great. Next time we went with Shelby, we got a male doctor. He disagreed with the first diagnosis, and prescribed another medication. It didn't work as well. A few weeks later, she rapidly declined, we tried to get her in, and they were too busy to see her for that week. She passed before her appointment.Flash forward to yesterday. Our new puppy needed his second set of shots, so we made an appointment for 1:30. Due to the pandemic, when you get there, you are supposed to call, which is fine. However, after we called to tell them we were there, we sat outside until 3:30 before our dogs went in. We watched people come and go as we sat in our truck. Finally left the vet office at 4:45!? What is the point of having an appointment? It's convenient to go to this vet office but from now on we will drive somewhere else.

Took in our female barn cat to get her shots and to be fixed. I brought in a kitty carrier with me for transportation. The vet brought her out to me when she was ready to go home and gave me the instructions on medications, I put the cat carrier in my vehicle and walked around to the drivers side. When I opened the door my cat jumped out!! They left the cat carrier unzipped. My untamed barn cat that just had major abdominal surgery was now loose outside of the vet in the middle of the July heat with no food or water!! It took us 3 days to finally catch her. The receptionist tried to help us look for an hour after she got loose but other than that NOTHING!

It’s always a pleasant experience when I take my animals into see Dr. Sam or Dr.Pedersen (I haven’t seen Dr. Foster yet)! They answer my questions and explain the procedures. My fur babies are well taken care of. Who could ask for more?!!!

The care they gave my dog was the best I have ever seen. The dealt with my emergency calls with kindness and understanding. Sadly my dog was to far gone to save but they let me come in on a Sunday an spend as much time as I needed to say goodbye. I will never take my animals anywhere else . The Vet here is the nicest most caring professional I have ever taken my animals to. I bought 2 puppies but little did I know that they had parvo when I got them. The boy went first and is doing great. The girl is there now and I'm confident she'll make it as well. I recommend them to anyone looking for care for their fur-babies.

Absolute trash. Wouldn’t see my dog who is having seizures saying it’s a liability, because of a previous incident where they made the decision to put him under anesthetics to do a simple biopsy of a small mass that got infected after they “treated” him. All of this after I specifically told them I DO NOT want him put under without me there with him. Which isn’t allowed because they’re still hiding behind covid policy to cloak their shady ways behind closed doors. DO NOT TRUST THESE DISGUSTING DIRT BAGS WITH YOUR ANIMALS. THEY TREAT THEM AND CUSTOMERS WITH NO RESPECT. The animals end up paying with their health and well-being at this establishment.

I brought my Pomeranian in late on a Saturday. She appeared to be suffering from some kind of poisoning and Dr. Pedersen met me in the parking lot, took her from me and brought her inside. After a cursory exam, he advised me to leave her with him so that he could examine her more thoroughly. He put her on I.V. fluids and kept her overnight, advising me to call first thing in the morning. After a sleepless night, I phoned and spoke with Dr. Pedersen, who said she was doing much better and thought that perhaps she got into something poisonous. He also wanted her to stay a few hours longer for observation. When I called again later that afternoon, I spoke with Susan, the receptionist who said I could come and pick up my dog. Susan was very patient and kind and made sure that my dogs' medication and instructions for aftercare were waiting on top the crate that my little dog was inside of in the lobby. (Quarantine restrictions) I am more than happy with the treatment that Marina received while she was at Watford City Veterinary Center. In my opinion, Dr. Pedersen and his staff saved her life! I will ALWAYS recommend this clinic to others. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

Super disappointed. The customer service of the front desk is terrible. The vet refused to see my pet without drugging him prior. When last visit, he wasn't drugged for and it went really well. The time before that, the Dr insisted I drug him, and he couldn't walk for 3 days after the appointment, he ran into walks, couldn't even get on the couch run or jump. When I called concerned, again...the VETS REFUSED TO TALK TO THE CUSTOMER, I got a call back saying it was because the weather was cold. They are irresponsible, unprofessional. Unfortunately when this is the ONLY option in town locally it's definitely worth finding an office that will actually treat people respectfully.

When you spend hundreds of dollars having your animal cremated being told she will come back in an urn to get her in a dollar store tin. Worst veterinary office I’ve ever experienced. Do not take your fur babies here if you want them to be properly taken care of.

I drove two hours to see this vet because my dog was sick and I wasn’t getting any help in Minot. The staff was very friendly and helpful which is always a plus. Very compassionate vet and I would highly recommend this place. As far as price goes I didn’t have a problem with it. The vet in Minot charged the same with way less work!

Called to pick up my dogs in boarding took 15 mins to get ahold of anyone. Then talked to a receptionist and said she would contact boarding well a hr later sitting in the parking lot took another 15 mins to get ahold of the people. Then receptionist said u can’t pick up till 4 o’clock and I aske why didn’t you guys tell me that I’m the first place.

I called at 11am to get an antibiotics med refill, I called a couple of time to see if it was ready since I'm from out of town. The very rude lady at the end of the day said the vet won't be looking at it till last patient of the day and won't be done till the next day.

The lack of professionalism and leadership at this facility is astounding to which leads to the staffing shortage, poor scheduling and improper care to animals. If possible, I highly recommend using other surrounding clinics as complaints don’t do any justice here.

I love the heart all the technicians have for the pets and livestock I love my dog dually and would trust his care with anyone there very professional and explain everything going on clearly and what is the best option
