Menu says kids meals come with a drink but was charged almost $7 for 2 kids chocolate milk. Asked about it and was told they don't come with a drink. Need to fix the menu then. Order a patty melt but received a blt. Was charged for a patty melt. I would have asked to have it corrected but the server was very busy. My BLT also had a hair in it. All things I would have addressed to the server if he actually had time to serve us. I realize the sign that they are short staffed..but just too many things wrong. Would have loved to make this a usual stop on the way to Bismarck but I don't think we would return.

A country style small town restaurant. Beautiful paintings on the wall. Nice size place for larger group seating. They have a salad bar. The breakfast was excellent. The little sliders, a little too well done, were a special for the kids attending the Babe Ruth baseball tournaments. The special was street tacos which were taquitos served with lettuce, cheese and tomatoes. They also have boba teasKid-friendliness: The kids loved the sliders and the shakes.Wheelchair accessibility: It is all one level, wide doors and tables to roll up to. Not sure about restrooms, didn’t use.

I really love this location! We were in yesterday, and ordered Togo. I had a yummy crispy chicken club, and my husband had the grilled chicken club. Both were delicious, hot and fresh. Our food came out really fast, and nicely packed.The girl that took our order was especially awesome! She explained all the specials, and was so friendly. You could tell she took great pride in customer service.Bathroom was clean and well stocked. A great experience

Dakota Farms in Washburn is another one of the one of a kind restaurants you find in small towns. To eat at Dakota Farms is well worth the drive north of Bismarck. If I lived in Bismarck or Mandan there would be no hesitation setting up lunch or dinner dates and driving out of town which may seem like a long drive but the drive beats an hour long drive thru traffic. Food quality was excellent!

D+/C- food. Not gross but not really good either. Just bland. The service was good and the speed of receiving the meal was good. The environment is dated, and the prices are a little high for the quality.Overall it works when there aren’t a lot of options and the people make it worth going more than the food or environment do.

The food is good, delivered in a timely manner and the choices are many. Prices are decent too. It's nice to be able to eat somewhere that isn't a chain restaurant.But the staff is the most amazing thing about Dakota Farms in Washburn, ND! A carload of us wondered in for lunch on a Sunday ; not realizing until AFTER we were leaving that we had actually shown up five minutes before closing time! We had no idea! The whole staff still treated us well and kept smiling the whole time even though they were probably ready to get the heck out of there!Highly recommended this place.

We stopped here during our visit to the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center. The location was very convenient.There are a wide variety of menu items, including breakfast all day long. Our children opted for breakfast. The pancakes were yummy, the bacon and sausage were fine, but the eggs had bits of burnt something or other in them and did not get eaten. Other menu items at our table included the chicken strips, pot roast, ham and cheese sandwich, and breakfast sandwich. All were just okay. All in all, fine for a convenient meal, but not memorable.

Had the pancakes and sausage patties. You get 2 very small tubs of whipped butter but plenty of syrup. Pancakes were VERY tough and one was burnt on one side. Sausage was good though. Excellent service but lacking in food quality therefore the 3 rating.

Both times my server was borderline unfriendly, as if I shouldn't be there.First time the food was perfect, crispy hash browns and toast and the eggs were just ivert easy and runny. Second visit my toast was almost soggy and my eggs were over cooked, all the yolk had set. This point frustrates me personally.The appearance and cleanliness are all standard and week kept up.Speed of service was good too.

Took a while to get our order placed but the food arrived really fast. Serves typical home town diner food with a few twists. Most people were eating breakfast for dinner, we had chicken fried steak and hot roast beef sandwich which were excellent but pricey$10 for a hot sandwich. Close to the Lewis and Clark center and adjoins a gas station so for travelers a good choice. Clean, pleasant staff.

We frequently pass by this establishment but made our first stop only last week. Warm environment and equally warm greetings. The restrooms were clean and the coffee that was ordered was tasty. 👌Would definitely stop in again.

This is a great family friendly place to bring kids and or friends. They serve mainly comfort food but also have healthier options, love their salads. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the manager is an absolutely wonderful person! Our family loves coming here!

I'd like to start off and say that I enjoy some of the food that is prepared by certain cooks in this facility. However, since the restaurant has changed certain major points of this particular location, there has been a few issues that have been brought into light. As someone who has worked in the industry, this change brings up concerns related to the high school aged employees. During this time of Covid 19, I was confronted about a scheduling issue. The current "boss" did not, how do you say, adult, and talk with such students about there new class schedules, therefore scheduling students to work when they are supposed to be in a class. I do appreciate how they have now set up tables to keep their customers safe. During this time, small businesses need leaders to lead not bosses to boss. Have a wonderful day!! Stay safe!!

They let us in and order a full, well prepared and served evening meal. My wife and I were the last to leave a full 15 minutes after closing. Friendly and welcoming place to get a very good meal.

Wow, talk about a let down. So many 4 star reviews. No idea how that is possible. In 18 minutes i was seated, ordered, served a salad and French dip, water showed up at the end and a ticket slapped on the table. 4 tables were occupied and they rush you out faster than you can say I should have gotten gas station food. Horrible french dip because of the soft UNTOASTED bread. Touch it to the aujus and the bread fell off in the bowl. 2 stars because they are quick on getting food out, it just isn't quality food. It was $12 for a tiny French dip, no fries, and a salad with a thimble amount of dressing.

I'm glad Washburn has a restaurant...the food was overcooked but still tasted good. We drank our waters and the waitress was VERY slow to refill them. It's a place to eat in a small town but other then that not very impressed
