This is a very new store, just built, with new staff, so service is still a little rough around the edges. However, the drive to New Salem from my little town is only 14 miles. Closest Walmart is 48 miles.Fuel, Time, (and now with winter storms,) Weather, make the New Salem store a Godsend!Waiting for 2 minutes for the cashier to be coached by experienced cashier, for the shopper in front of me,(Never been there with no other customers, just like W), this is less time than it takes to reverse direction on the Interstate.Merchandise selection is well covered, with a surprising density of selection, for such a small store.Easily figured out, the lay-out is the same as the other DG, just opened in Richardton. platform, the same, go between these two stores, can't tell the difference.If you have a Dollar General, you know.Just that simple.Just go, and see for yourself!If you live far enough from the Big Box, that there's a Dollar General in between, it's well worth a comparison shopping experience!General overview: Wonderful merchandise selections, in any category I was interested in, plus many I'm not,(as a retired guy), so I'll leave it to other critics to rate those selections.Close by, open every day, for rural people, this keeps their town alive.Thanks, Dollar General!

Nice, clean, well stocked. Had no problem with my return of spray paint I didn't need. Shop here often, pop on sale regularly.

Really like Dollar General they have a wide variety of different types of foods in the refrigerator section and different foods can can vegetables Meats different kinds of houseware really got to check this place out pretty cool you can buy a lot of stuff it's like for inside your house Play Cups and dishes and plates silverware's you name it check
