They are also very knowledgeable about the products they sell and give honest feedback if your new to trying products and services and need advice. I love going here.The staff is friendly and always answer all of my questions as I have them. Their vuilding is always very clean and it's fun to look at all the products they have to offer. They will add services if I ask, and they are very knowledgeable about their jobs. I've been here multiple times, and it's always gone well. They get the job done quickly without any fuss. Prices are decent as well as availability and service options.I went there once, and there was some drama of one technician confronting and cursing out another, which felt pretty awkward, but ya know, life happens, I get it. Then she comes out and tells me she's ready for me 😆. It was still a good experience, just made me laugh.

I normally would have given this place 5 stars because most of the people there are amazing. Kelsey is the best and is the only person I will go to for a wax! However they lose two stars because of Jesh or Josh (not sure what his name is) but he is extremely rude and unprofessional. I called to make a change in appointments and he gave me so much attitude and then finally hung up on me, I've had other issues with him when I call but this was the last straw. He has made me not want to come back and made me feel extremely uncomfortable but the girls there are awesome so I will come back but if I have another incident with him not only will I not return but I'll no longer recommend it to others

I went here for my first Brazilian wax. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by KayCee who is so sweet!I get waxed by Kendra who makes the experience comfortable and as painless as possible! She’s so sweet. I have visited this location almost a year now. They are very clean, professional, and friendly. I love the convenience of booking my appointment through their app. If you sign up for the orange club some of their wax services are cheaper than paying monthly and to me worth it. You can cancel it at any time. Every wax place has their procedure. If you are accustomed to a certain style, tell them. So if you are new to North Dakota, turn-over rate is a common occurrence with all businesses. Ask anyone! Waxing the City have locations all over the United States and are consistent. I was so happy there was a location in Minot. I am always satisfied with my services and the staff. If I ever have an issue their management staff are professional and open to dialogue.

Great place to get a wax, but I had bad luck with scheduling. I’ve sat and waited for 10-15minutes past my scheduled time for an appointment. I was 8 minutes late today in the parking lot and they cancelled my whole appointment with a 22.50 cancellation fee. I explained to them the reasons I was late, then they offered to not charge me and reschedule , but it left a bad taste in my mouth. It just sounds like they need to figure out their scheduling

The professionalism was great, also the atmosphere! My waxer was very nice. However, I had been getting waxes for about a year before I had moved here to Minot. My waxes where i used to live only took up to 25 minutes. So when i saw 45 mins it raised a bit of concern but I went ahead and booked because I thought maybe it’s just listed as 45 mins if they need extra time. When I went for a Brazilian, I noticed my waxer was putting very small amounts of wax on me(no bigger than the amount you’d put for an eyebrow wax) and ripping with, instead of against the grain. But I was already there so I thought I’d just tough it out. But it became very uncomfortable very quickly (I’m used to about maybe 10 rips and a clean up after). After the wax was finished I used the complimentary wipes to clean myself up because I noticed there was lots of powder left on my body. Then I noticed I was bleeding from being waxed. This was probably the most painful wax I’d ever had. Worse than my first one ever.

I got my very first brazilian wax from Jordan. She was very nice and we had a great conversation but the service itself wasn't the best. I got home and noticed I still had some patches of hair that didnt get removed and I also could of used some clean up. I also noticed that I still had some pieces of wax left on my skin. I hope my next appointment I will have a much more clean wax.

This would have been my first time visiting Waxing the City. Went in for my appointment at 10:30, was told the gal was running late. I’m a reasonable person, I don’t mind waiting 5-15 minutes. I have been late for appointments before so I get it. Sat there until 10:56 and decided enough was enough and let the front desk know I couldn’t wait any longer. No concession was made in regards to customer service such as the next time you come in we would like you to get half or full price off. (Was just getting an eyebrow wax) I feel when your in a customer service business when something like this happens you try to make it right. Just got a sorry and have a nice day. Won’t go back there again.

Vicky was the one who did my waxing and she does a great job at making you feel comfortable! There were a few times where she might have been tired at the end of the day, and it did hurt!! But I think you’d have to just let her know or remind her. I think it can be easy to forget you’re waxing a person after doing it so many times lol

I've had hit and miss experiences with this place. My most recent issue was that I decided to just call and make an appointment instead of doing it online because I wanted to clarify something and was told that they didn't have any availability for what I wanted to get done (they only had a few eyebrow wax openings). I was surprised and let them know that it's not what the website showed and the lady I talked to said that the website is a 3rd party service and that I was wrong, even though I was looking at it when I called.
