Just bought our first boat from Swenson Rv & Marine where we were told several times everything was looked over since we picked it up 2 weeks ago nothing but issues all the battery’s were shot we did get a check $400 didn’t really Cover all the cost but it’s what it is! Second time on the water the part that pulls in the boat on to trailer broke then he later on our way home from wolf creek campground we lost a wheel baring almost causing the tire to fly off little bit of safely issue! so needless to say things were not “CHECKED OVER” we are business owners in the service industry and my husband is a mechanic so these are things than could have been detected if they truly were”CHECKED OVER ” so sorry but not sorry for this review!

We stayed at the Swenson RV & Marine campground as we were passing through on our way back to Canada, it was very quiet, but quite full, the bathroom and showers were immaculate. Definely will stay here again.

Awesome stress free experience. We toured our selected units and were able to “roam” about to thoroughly check all our boxes. We chose a unit and it was ready for pickup as promised. They do a pre delivery checklist; unfortunately, we discovered a few issues after a week. Let me tell you, I mentioned these few issues and we had an appointment and everything was corrected in 1 day and our unit was back with us. We are so thrilled with our unit and the service we received at Swenson’s!

Inflation? I needed a part for my water heater and was staying at the attached CG overnight so I popped in to check parts dept. Yes they had one but it was marked up to $270. when they are readily available at under $125. shipped to your door. Even CW was $90. less!Needless to say I passed. Had one sent to a stop planned for next week. Glad it was not a critical part as the 120v side still works.

Do NOT buy from them! I would give them zero stars if I could! Worst experience ever! Once you have bought your item they will NOT do warranty work and if your boat/RV is in their care they will not treat your brand new purchase the way you will. They had our second boat from them (first wasn’t any better) for seven months for warranty work. We asked to pick it up after being DETAILED/cleaned before Memorial Day and so they called us and said it’s all ready. Picked it up with only 2 of the 18 warranty items fixed that we repeatedly told them and sent pictures to three separate emails and texts. They didn’t put the cover back on right over the winter and damaged several seats and flooring, because of heavy winds and being left open not to mention so much dirt it has depreciated the boat by three years. What they call detailing/cleaning is spraying a hose in for a few minutes. I spent hours trying to clean it knowing that so much dirt has caused permanent damage. I’ve gotten no sorry! I’m confident after doing service with them twice they are the worst place to go for a boat and RV. Remember they are private and Regency cannot force them to make it right, but they were deeply sorry, but said they can’t do much, because they are private. UPDATE because I posted this review on Facebook they are refusing to fix the damage they did from improper storage and the rest of the warranty work that was in writing. I guess they think they got my money and we are done!

Worst dealer I've had to deal with. I have an issue with my new boat I just bought and they won't return calls or make an effort to get it fixed. I've been dealing with them trying to do the warranty work since August and it's now October 25th and they won't help me. I've called 2 other dealers in the state and they are more then willing to help in about 7-10 days but I have to drive 2 or 5 hours away to get it done. This isn't the first issue I've had with them. I couldn't get them to do work with my other boat either.

Bought one of the new Tracker ATVs they have in stock. The saleswomen Kelly was great, she navigated through all of our questions and if she didnt know she found out right away. Ended up meeting a few of the staff, seemed like a family establishment that is focused on customer service not just making the sale. That's why we purchased same day we went in, very honest crew! Cant say thank you enough for a wonderful sales experience and what you all are doing. Hope to buy a toy hauler soon!

Worked with Matt Strom on purchasing a used boat sight unseen. Matt was easy attentive and the transaction went smoothly. I would buy again from him as he had the boat cleaned up before I picked it up 8 hours away.

Bought a 2014 tracker boat, boat was in great shape and as advertised. Prior to leaving with the boat, got a solid run down and how to operate features.Was contacted by dealer about missing navigation light. Took multiple phone calls (frustrating) to arrange for delivery.Person doing paperwork did not know what they were doing. was not very thorough and missed several important pieces with regards to insurance and financing.Will look elsewhere when making my next purchase, just seemed too busy and ready to get the boat out the door and move on to the next customer.

Great service. I went through a big storm which tore the cover over my largest slide. The cover then wrapped up so tightly the slide wouldn’t open properly or much at all. Swenson’s service department got me in for work in a timely manner. The slide was about an inch and a half off-kilter before the storm and I’d had that worked on in Texas with no luck. In fact, I was told it would have to be pulled completely off the RV in order to get it fixed. At Swenson’s, they fixed the cover, corrected the off-kilter and showed me generally what needed to be done when a slide gets off-kilter like that. I appreciate knowing that so that if it ever happens again, I’ll know if the repair people know what they are doing

Horrible experience. Poor sales staff, parts didn’t even know how to ring up a sale and the brand new tritoon was scratched all over. They even tried to send us home with all kinds of loose accessories floating around in the covered pontoon. Got home to find out some of the dealer prep wasn’t even done. I would have walked away from the sale if I hadn’t drove 8 hours. The worst purchasing experience ever. Please stay away at all costs.

I come here for all my emergency parts needs. Their prices are pretty high but that is expected in all the areas RV sales areas. I wanted to get a generator transfer box here but they couldn't even order the part. The staff though is very helpful and will try to figure everything out for you. Their RV Park is one of the best in town.

We had been looking for a pontoon and finally came across the right kind for our family at Swenson RV. The salesman was helpful when we could get a hold of him. Our paperwork was filed right away and it took about a day for them to get back to us with an offer. Initially we had this idea that the pontoon would be ready to take off the lot when the check was cut by the bank.. no. They didn't tell us about the clean up and maintenance check before we bought the boat. Well it's been over a week and still no answer from them about an exact time to pick it up. We have called on many occasions to get a date and they have made no attempt to call us back. The person who answers the phone says they are always out with customers, because of this we are going to go in person to get any answers. We had plans for fathers day weekend to get it out on the lake and have a great weekend but that plan seems to be fizzling away.

I lost my sway bars for my trailer while on vacation in Minot. Called all rv stores to find some replacement sway bars. When I called Swenson, I was told they had them in stock and were $49.01 each. I asked the lady to hold them for me and I would be there to pick them up within an hour or two. Upon arrival, I was told they did not have any sway bars, just entire hitches, and it would be $400.. The girl I had spoken to apparently made a mistake and was supposed to call me back to tell me but I did not receive a call back. Swensons did not even carry the type of hitch i had or the sway bars. My only option was to buy the new hitch. The parts department was nice enough to give me a discount on the hitch. I purchased a few other items as well. The hitch i was sold had chains instead of round sway bars. I installed new hitch onto my truck and soon found out the hitch was not near as stable as the one I had paid $200 for back home in Colorado. 2 days later I found the exact same sway bars to my original hitch from a private seller on Facebook. So I returned the hitch I had bought 2 days earlier. I was given a receipt that showed the full amount of my hitch was going to be mailed to me, since they did not have enough cash on hand to refund my money in store.. 3 days later I get a voicemail from Swenson starting that they were charging me a 20% restocking fee because I did not have the box when I returned the hitch. I called and spoke with a manager and was told that i was in the wrong and should not have been refunded any money because i used the hitch. The amount adds up to just $60, and this company would rather lose business and customers than do what they had told me they would do. I will be filing a small claims case against this company as I have a receipt showing how much I was supposed to be refunded.. on my original receipt as well as the refund receipt, there is nothing stating a 20% restocking fee. The only reason I even ended up doing business with this company was because they gave me false information and told me they had my sway bars. The manage was rude when I spoke to him over the phone and obviously knew I lived out of state and figured I would do nothing over $60.. He was wrong. I will be notifying the better business bureau as well. I will get my $60 even if it costs me more money to file the small claims court case.

Very poor customer service. We were working with them on a trade in and it took forever for them to get back to us with an offer. Meanwhile when waiting to hear from them they ended up selling the camper we were looking at to someone else. Will never deal with them or recommend them.

Bought a camper in Feb. After to month's of Camping the camper started to fall apart. It was an older model. Went to Swensons and told them about the problems I was having with the camper. They gave me a full refund and they didn't have to. So I got a different newer camper. I highly recommend Swensons. The costumer service is excellent. Thank you Nathan and Vergil

Went there today to order a couch for my RVI was told to go look at the couches in the units outside. I asked if units were unlocked and the guy at service desk said yes. So I went most units were LOCKED. I did find a couch in a unit that was unlocked went back in. I mentioned that most units were still locked and he said yeah I know. Really dude???? I then told him which unit had the couch. He looked at me like I was supposed to know the brand of couch. He then finally said he would have to go out there and look at it to see which one. I am going to have to see if there is one I an order online I have my doubts that he will even get back to us about one. He didn't know what he could offer me as far as couches for motorhome goes.

See their overpriced used RV's for sale all the time on bisman and literaly 99% of them you can see water damage around slides wether it be stained ceilings and carpet or bulges in the exterior panels i would avoid this place if your looking for a used RV

Swenson is a great place to camp out for a few days!!! The DOGS from other campers unfortunately drove me crazy!!! I don't understand how pet owners can stand to allow their pets to bark relentlessly for over 20 minutes at a time and not attempt to quiet it for respect of others!!

Was going to Bismark on the weekend to lookat a unit and was informed they were sending it to Minot even tho they didn't have a buyer. Tried to explain that i was a potential buyer. They wanted me to put 5000 down to hold it.. I didn't even see it yet. buyer

Bought a boat in April with 22hrs on the outboard and put14hrs on it since then somehow power head is cracked was told either 13k for a new one or 6500 for a rebuilt tried to give me a deal on a rebuilt one to where I wouldn’t pay labor costs this place is a joke and I’ll never do business with these people again not to mention the boat I bought in April had fuel sitting in it from who knows when what a joke if I could give a zero I would

Wouldn't take the plastic off a pontoon that we were interested in buying. Told us if we decided to buy it they would take it off. Had us look at another model that was similar but not the same and advised it was just like it but without this and that, etc. Lost a sale from us and we were 100% ready to buy as we knew what we wanted-just didn't know which model between the 18' and 20'. 2 sales guys on that day-one drinking a beer at his desk while the other, younger sales guy was destroying his chances at selling a pontoon to my wife and I. Need a boat? Try somewhere else...

Went in to purchase a travel trailer. Salesman ran around and unlocked the trailers then disappeared. Evidently a family is more important than a cash buyer. I will never set foot here again.

We stayed in the RV park. Staff was nice but mens bathroom out of order. No playground. No trails except the one that said no trespassing. We were placed far fom the facilities in an almost empty lot. Our "view" was a row of boats/inventory.
