I am so glad I came here. I normally only frequent Walmart or target on my USA trips but I was looking for a specific product.They had everything I wanted and some.The store is clean, and it has such a wide variety of items!It’s not as huge regarding baked goods perhaps but I was so thrilled with my finds.Plenty of parking.Lots of fresh produce.I’d return if I was local for sure.

I have been waiting weeks for my emergency food stamps, and I was told that I had finally gotten them today even though I qualified back in December, and my wait was only supposed to be 7days...I got into line and bought some clearance mark downs and had no balance on my receipt.I asked the cashier to please let try to get my SNAP (Food Stamp) balance because I wanted to check it in the card machine.But the cashier insisted that I go to the service counter in front.I went in front and the woman staffing the service desk insisted on ringing up a penny on my card.I told her that I didn't want to get in trouble for fraud because our government had so many banks to bail out, and other corporate welfare...We poor on the other hand are supposed to be hounded like crazy and constantly accused of fraud.I found out that my SNAP balance was less than $20.00 after buying less than $20.in groceries.(Please keep in mind that I have been unemployed for more than 4 months, but I finally got unemployment on 12/26/23. And knew about it on 01/03/24)So I tried to return some of the groceries.My SNAP balance was still under $30.00So the store manager on duty(Michelle)complained that I had been in the store for 10 minutes...The comment and attitude was extremely inappropriate!We truly are in an age of discrimination!This isn't the first that someone has treated me like a lessor person here either.The irony is that my dead father served in the Vietnam era US Navy when it wasn't fashionable...The irony wasn't lost on me.I just went back in to return the rest of my groceries and the very young clerk was courteous to me.But I won't lie I miss the much more free USA 🇺🇲🦅 of my childhood.

Marketplace is always a great grocery store. They particularly have wonderful meats. They are always fresh and don't have that weird taste that you get from Walmart. Plus they have a fresh meat counter where you can get anything, fish, beef, pork, lamb, etc.

People are very nice and helpful. There donuts are not all the way filled. I have repeatedly called managers and nothing has been. So Minot, there are other donut shops in town that sell filled donuts.

Don't waste your time or money at this place. There's so many good grocery stores in town you shouldn't need to waste your time with the worse store in town. This morning I took a small apricot out to sample before paying a god awful amount of money for the last couple they had. I was approached by literally the entire staff and questioned like I was in an interrogation under oath. These people can take it up the rear as far as I'm concerned and they'll never get another penny of my money. Cash Wise has never had problems with trying fresh produce before buying because Cash Wise is a real store ran by real locals that grow real produce and know the buyer is spending real money. Never step foot here unless you're walking and can't get to a real store

I think this is a great place of business! The workers are always the nicest people ever! They really brightened my day! They definitely deserve a raise, because of how they all had a huge comeback from the winter storm!

Convenient location. I like to stop here to have lunch at the deli. The chicken is always good but they usually never have a vegetable. Occasionally they will have some musty looking sliced canned carrots but they taste as bad as they look. Never have any corn or green beans and the mashed potatoes have the consistency of baby food. Staff is friendly. I just wish they would put some effort into the lunch menu in their deli.

Just there 5:00 5:30. Guy at the check was like he was trying to set some record pushing my bags at me trying to make room for next guy ! Instead of setting bags in the cart! Good thing there's 3 more stores to go or Cash wise !

Wonderful store to shop at and he staff is the best of the best and the quality of food is just outstanding and iam a former employee of this store and I tip my cap to all my fellow co workers for doing an outstanding job in customer service it’s the best in the business and it shows each and every day wow so glad to be part of the store and staff and ihighly recommend this market to all buyers out there and keep up the superior service and food quality you will ever find in a grocery store today just outstanding in every way thank you

This place has everything you need in food. The prices aren't bad if you aren't TOTALLY broke. They're not really expensive, but not like really cheap either. They have their own pharmacy. You can find all kinds of fresh produce, breads, meats, deli salads or premade type foods, some kinda naturally more specialty things (I think) and then the regular stuff like cereal, coffee, sugar, cake mixes, soda, milk (best price on milk I've seen in Minot), other dairies, frozen foods, soups, water, drinks, sandwich meat, ziplock stuff, some cooking stuff like pans, spatulas ect. I could go on and on. They also have Lottery & cigarettes. The employees are very friendly and helpful. The store has a grocery/gas stamp program where you get a stamp for every certain amount of $$ you spend on whatever there. Then when you collect, I think 25 stamps, you paste them on a card & can use it for either $10 gas at the Shell station in their parking lot (the bigger store) or $10 worth of in store groceries at either store. When you shop there, you find yourself collecting stamps & filling up the $10 cards fast. I have collected them pretty quick and got $10 gas a few times when I was low on funds, but needed gas bad. I met a man who collects the stamps to give to the parents of children in the hospital in Minot so the parents will have gas to go back & forth to the hospital if needing to work too. I thought that was a great idea if you are not in dire need of the gas or food yourself. I highly recommend either of the this grocery store. There's actually two of them. The big one on the corner of S. Broadway & (near highway 2) has like pretty much everything. That one I LOVE! The other one on the same side of Broadway, but just a couple or few blocks North is considerably smaller, but still good to go to. They just carry less stuff. I've only been to that one once. It's great if you just need to run in & get something quick & want to avoid the parking lot crowd which is bad at the bigger one. I regularly shop at the bigger one by the highway. Again, it practically has like everything for decent prices. 👍🙂

I only tend to shop here in cases that are either an "emergency" or a random convenience. The prices tend to run higher than say Wal Mart but is very well kept, nice layout and decor, with great employees.

It's basically a grocery store monopoly up in here, but you will soon find out that not all MPs are created equal. I usually find what I need, but occasionally have to use some beans that I don't care for.

Never have a problem with the staff, they are normally very helpful. Their prices are slightly higher than the Walmart in our area but that’s to be expected. Their shelves seemed to be stocked better than Walmarts, no big gaps in products. People that complain about rude service obviously have issues of their own, not the staff of this store.

It's okay for convenience, but dang, they're just expensive.. and it doesn't seem justified, the quality is the same as like a Wal-Mart. Some things are reasonably priced, then between those there's things with 2-4 dollar mark ups which absolutely adds up. Which I guess they figure that you're already there, so you'll grab the overpriced stuff too. Like I said, in a pinch, it's helpful, but for a full fledged grocery trip, I wouldn't.

This Marketplace is smaller than the others but is closer to home so I visit often for quick needs. Unfortunately they only have 1 5 gal refill nozzle so if I have multiple jugs I usually go to another store.Still a great little store. They generally have everything we need so they are great for quick visits.

I love shopping here because even when it's busy it's still nice and calm. People say it's expensive but if you go often you'll see they always have good deals on something. Plus you can't beat the experience and it's nice to support these smaller companies in our city.

Very nice little market. I don't mean little but I should say less than the big Walmart superstores or some other giant chain retailers. It's a good neighborhood grocery Store convenient if you happen to be in the area.

Not sure how they get away with having their prices so high when they can even pay their employees decently. The only redeeming factor is the meat and produce is usually good quality but i would still rather go to cashwise or fight a crowd at walmart. Both manage to take better care of their people.

Love the Stamp program! Each completed sheet is worth one dollar off towards gas or groceries. Limited 10 per visit. Extremely friendly staff. Quality of product is excellent.

Absolute abysmal produce. I’ve had to return moldy cabbage here twice. You can expect to pay at least close to 30% more on items compared to the other stores in town like Walmart or Cash wise. But, I stop here now only when I fail to properly plan or run out of something. They have the nerve to sell a quart of cream for $10. The best thing about any Marketplace is the bakery. Great selection on high-sodium and fattening items. I prefer to pay for Walmart grocery delivery and have my food delivered to me as there is much more quality and organic produce and plenty more selection if you order at the right time of the week.

I've lost all respect for this company, come to find out they will NOT price match their own stores! I had to run to another location due to the one I went to did not have some items I needed so I went to this location only to find out that EVERY SINGLE ITEM was more expensive!!! Looks like I'm going to Cash Wise because they will price match and take care of you (or at least in my experience)

The store is what you expect in a small town, but this is a large city and your expect a lot more investment in keeping your store clean, updated and. The employees you can tell are underpaid, even talking with them they don't even realize they would be paid significantly more at cashwise, Walmart, or target for the same work. I'm not going to lie though I usually shop at market place because it extremely close to my house and so is North hill marketplace. But that's because I'm a bit more lazy to travel across town.

Please get new music. I love "old school" music, but when I'm in the store it's the same music. Don't get me wrong I love the selection, but it's getting played out. Aaugh!! Nice and down to earth staff, keep it up!
