Completely worth the drive from Fargo. This vet was recommended to me by my dog groomer. The vet took such good care of my dog, cleaned his ears out and treated them rather than just sending me home with a wash, which has been mud experience elsewhere. The minute we walked in it felt warm and welcoming- we didn’t feel like a number or a dollar sign, and didn’t feel rushed. Just excellent care, communication, and service. We will be going back!

We switched to this vet clinic for proximity reasons after we moved to Hankinson after hearing recommendations from friends and family out of Wahpeton. Couldn't be happier with the services we've received so far! Very caring staff. Our Pyrenees atlas was diagnosed with bone cancer shortly after switching vets and they have been awesome through the amputation, pain management, and now even his grooming needs too.

We had a great Experience. They are not our usual vet but we took our dog here to get spayed. It was a same day surgery and everything went great! She did develop a UTI the weekend after her surgery and my usual vet didn't have any times to get her in to be seen. I called Sheyenne valley and they had antibiotics ready for her the same day.

Extremely reasonably priced veterinary clinic with an exceptional veterinarian Dr. Kathy and friendly front office staff. Clean, well-equiped, spacious building and exam rooms. I called 9 out of 11 Fargo-Moorhead area vet clinics to see who was accepting NEW clients. Of those clinics who actually answered their phones or put me on a long "hold" time, only 3 were accepting new clients. One of those FM area clinics was requiring a $60 deposit to "hold" (applied as a credit to your visit but nonrefundable if a "no show") your appointment that couldn't be scheduled for 5 weeks out! This is absolutely ridiculous for a large metropolitan area with 11 vet clinics!I used to think Fargo had too many vet clinics, but now it looks like there aren't enough or they are not properly staffed. I realize covid stressed vet clinics with curbside drop off of your pet and made communication difficult as couldn't be in the exam room with your pet, but the majority of vet clinics have opened their lobby/reception area and are allowing one person into exam room with the pet.So for those Fargo area residents that can't get a vet appointment for 4-6 weeks for a simple wellness with vaccines then I recommend that you drive 70 miles to Milnor, ND.Fargo area vet clinics need to make adjustments to accommodate the high demand for veterinary services or they will be literally driving all their potential business to outlying areas which offer as good if not better and more affordable services. Or forcing pet owners to use the Fargo emergency vet clinic as their primary vet.Photos of the 3 sibling kittens that I brought to Milnor, including the rare calico male kitten who I was convinced was a girl!

Worth the drive from Fargo! We were able to get scheduled about 4 days after calling and on a Saturday for a wellness visit as well as some vaccines!! The staff and veterinarian were very kind and got us in and out in a very timely manner. Pricing was so reasonable and cheaper than any other local vet clinic. So happy we found this gem!

We had our 10 year old Yorkies teeth cleaned and had some removed because of decay. Pricing was 1/4 to 1/3 the cost we were used to in Fargo. Excellent care and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

One of the best veterinarians I have ever experienced we got the run around in Fargo I got recommended to Kathy by a long distance friend and she acted promptly and we got an appointment for an emergency surgery right away. These girls that work over in the Sheyenne valley veterinary clinic are so awesome I would recommend them to everybody I used to go here to Wahpeton veterinary clinic which is a joke there are b****** and they don't care they just want you to keep coming back and back and back over in Milnor !!at the Sheyenne valley veterinary clinic they want to get your animal well for you love love those girls!!!

Kathy and the staff at Sheyene Valley Vet Service are phenomenal. They above and beyond with their Service. I had A Medical Emergency and no way to take care of my Tully as I wouldn't be home for A couple days. I know sooner let them know and they went and got my little Buddy and took great care of him. In fact when we go in for appointments he almost jumps theu the Door. You won't find A better place.

There aren't enough kind words to say about the team at Sheyenne Valley Vet services. They took wonderful care of Wiley during his final moments with us and were very thoughtful to us in what was a very crushing day 😥It is a bit of a drive from Fargo, but definitely worth every mile! Cheap neutere for dogs. Got me scheduled within 7 days of calling. Got my dog in right away in the morning because I had to work. Very understanding very quick very professional. Highly recommended! Support the small towns. Especially when the service is great!

We live in Fargo. It was definitely worth the drive. We have two pomeranian pups that are 14 and 15 years old. Both of them needed work done. I was so impressed by every single person on the team. From start to finish they made us feel safe about leaving our “kids” with them until they were done. They called us and checked in throughout the day with updates. Absolute top-tier Veterinarian hospital!

I've personally used this vet twice, however took two other people here for their pets in the past. Every experience has been phenomenal! Extremely caring and friendly team, and unbeatable prices! Having a pet shouldn't mean going broke over basic vet care, and out here it doesn't! Today, my Labrador went in to have two small tumors removed, and have his teeth cleaned. I couldn't be happier with the outcome! I will continue telling everyone I know about this vet!

Awesome staff!! The staff is much more tender and gentle with small animals than the vets around lisbon. I took my chihuahua in with a possibly life threatening illness and she was so gentle and genuinely concerned. And way cheaper than the other, rougher vets.
